Abstract

The agricultural sector is not only for the discourse of food sovereignty, but one of the foundations of the economic strategy. The erosion of agriculture by the opportunities of other sectors, refers to the focus of research in Bali's Celuk Buruan Village, by uncovering phenomena that occur in this region. The existence of regional development, the availability of access and public facilities, is a problem in the agricultural sector in this region. Changes in perspective or land-use change are inevitable, impacting agriculture and small businesses that have long worked with farmers to drive the village economy. Based on the phenomenon, an idea arose to revive the agricultural and industrial sectors in Celuk Buruan. During the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, the decline of Bali's tourism, with a qualitative approach, attempted to design, which could provide positive input to the situation. The design of media about agriculture is a preventive action, carried out in a structured, processed in the design of visual communication. In the end, communication media can produce to answer the problem and widely disseminated on the internet media.

Abstract

Kebutuhan publikasi pada era kekinian sebagai wadah diseminasi informasi dan pengetahuan terutama tentang pembangunan menjadi hal yang penting. Jurnal Bali Membangun Bali sebagai salah satu wadah publikasi merupakan tindakan yang cerdas dalam mensiasati proses pembangunan dan kemajuan pembangunan secara berkesinambungan. Sarana publikasi online menjadi sarana yang tepat dalam publikasi hasil-hasil kajian dan seiring pula dengan himbauan Permenristek melalui Dirjen Dikti prihal publikasi. Adanya sarana online, selain dikelola tim profesional pada bidangnya, diperlukan pula suatu identitas yang mencirikan dan pengantar pesan dari JBMB. Penciptaan identitas visual berupa logo dilakukan dengan beragam pertimbangan dan analisis riset sehingga identitas tersebut dapat berfungsi sebagai mana mestinya. Logo pada BMB menjadi berperan karena mengakomodir filosofis dari rancangan JBMB diterbitkan. Penciptaan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan runut sehingga proses dapat diikuti dalam pembahasan. Sebagai logo perwakilan entitas BMB akan menjadi bagian popularitas diseminasi riset dan pembangunan yang ada di Provinsi Bali.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to know the existence of BSPS as a government program through PUPR and the review focuses on Muncan Village, Karangasem Regency, as one of the beneficiary areas. The program follows the decisions, directions, rules, and procedures established by the provincial government of Bali. Research methods: The data are analyzed to separate criteria related to problems and solutions, and also solutions based on procedures and purposely determine informants based on specific criteria and considerations. Findings: Constraints were complicated by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has an impact on various lines globally. Particular action needs to be taken primarily by TFL with the community. In addition to having to carry out procedures and rules in the distribution of aid, preventive measures addressing various field conditions also need to be considered. The analysis is divided into two categories: conditional on BSPS verification activities to keep going and initiatives to address the Covid-19 pandemic crisis in the field. Implications: The various obstacles faced are expected to become a consideration or study for the next period, especially with things that are unpredictable and are force majeure along with the team that is tasked directly in the field.

Abstract

Purpose: The housing rehabilitation program for low-income people is carried out by the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Muncan Village is one of the areas that received 2020 house rehabilitation assistance (BSPS) for Karangasem Regency. Research methods: Preventive measures are needed, especially for the Field Facilitator Team as the front guard, so that the BSPS program channelled adequately. The key to smooth distribution, in addition to the precise mechanism, must also follow the government's recommendations and implement health protocols. Findings: Constraints on distribution activities, starting from November 2019 to the initial process in April 2020. Field constraints, social aspects, education, and the community's situation become challenges in these activities. But beginning in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic made the distribution of aid even more complicated with adjustments to the rules and recommendations of the government in conducting activities. Implications: Additional mission the field team to accelerate the handling of the pandemic, an appeal about anticipating COVID-19 also needs to convey. Strategies related to initiatives provide a masker for beneficiaries to foster protocol awareness and motivation regarding applicable rules.

Abstract

Sebagai bagian dari identitas visual, logo kini memiliki peran penting dalam suatu kelembagaan misalnya pada gagasan kepanitian di Pura Bukit Dharma Durga Kutri. Pura yang berlokasi di Desa Buruan Kabupaten Gianyar Bali ini, merupakan salah satu situs peninggalan purbakala dan membutuhkan logo untuk kebutuhan administratif untuk kedinasan dan identitas pada media publikasi terkait halnya pada proposal dan undangan untuk instansi yang minimal setiap enam bulan selalu dilakukan. Pada proses perancangan logo, dilakukan pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi dan wawancara secara purposive, lalu data tersebut diasumsikan sebagai bahan untuk pencarian ide dan dasar referensi visual. Mengikuti struktur pola pikir dan proses perancangan, penciptaan dilakukan diantaranya dengan teknik stilir pada ilustrasi tradisional Bali dan modifikasi pada elemen tradisi lainnya agar dapat diolah menjadi alternatif rancangan. Hasil dari rancangan kemudian diputuskan pada parum adat secara demokratis sehingga hasil keputusan dapat dipublikasikan untuk berbagai tujuan. Pada dasarnya penciptaan identitas visual ini sangat memerlukan pertimbangan berbagai aspek khususnya pada aspek filosofis yang telah melatarbelakanginya. Tata kelola penggunaan identitas visual pun selayaknya perlu dipertimbangkan agar sesuai dengan gagasan awal dan tujuan penciptaan sehingga rancangan logo dapat dipakai sebagaimana mestinya. Abstract

Menghadapi perkembangan global saat ini, teknologi adalah bidang yang perlu  kita pahami. Dengan teknologi pula kualitas sumber daya manusia dapat ditingkatkan. Dalam hal ini teknologi dapat menjadi media pendukung pendidikan khususnya pada  usia dini atau anak-anak dalam hal ini sekolah dasar. Sama halnya dengan teknologi,  budaya adalah salah satu hal terpenting dalam kehidupan khususnya budaya Bali. Menurut pengamatan yang ada, budaya lokal mulai sedikit terpinggirkan karena serbuan dan buaian budaya luar. Hal ini musti disikapi segera dengan sistem filtrasi yang baik, sehingga budaya lokal tetap lestari dan terjaga dengan baik. Filtrasi ini dapat dilakukan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi yang dikombinasikan dengan pengenalan budaya sejak dini pada anak-anak. Salah satu wujudnya adalah media pembelajaran bahasa Bali dalam bentuk animasi interaktif berbasis flash. Langkah kecil ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gairah anak-anak untuk mengenal warisan budaya mereka. Ini juga merupakan suatu tindakan untuk menumbuh kembangkan kembali identitas dan karakter bangsa sejak dini.

Abstract

Logo is actually created through a very complex process so that in the end the output of a logo can be accepted by the public and build branding of the entity represented. The design of the logo on the Program Magister Perencanaan Pariwisata (Applied Masters Program, Tourism Business Planning), Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Bali (PNB) is a brilliant idea because this is the spirit of institutional development. The creation of a logo with a modern impression and the concept of green tourism inspires the logo to be a visual object of message introduction in building PNB branding in general. Creation through three stages of design that are considered important, also through the collection of relevant data, described with descriptive qualitative and gave birth to the final logo based on joint decisions. In general, the creation of a logo must be able to answer the concept of the entity as a whole and there should also be a consideration in the governance of the logo for its sustainable use. Key words: design, logo, applied master, Politeknik Negeri Bali Penciptaan Logo sebenarnya melalui proses yang sangat kompleks, sehingga pada akhirnya luaran sebuah logo dapat diterima khalayak dan membangun branding dari entitas yang diwakilkan. Perancangan logo pada Program Magister Terapan Perencanaan, Pariwisata Jurusan Pariwisata, Politeknik Negeri Bali (PNB) merupakan suatu gagasan yang brilian, karena hal ini menjadi semangat dalam pengembangan institusi. Penciptaan logo dengan kesan modern dan konsep green tourism, menginspirasi logo menjadi suatu objek visual pengantar pesan dalam membangun branding PNB secara umum. Penciptaan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap perancangan yang dianggap penting, melalui pula pengumpulan data yang relevan, dijabarkan dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan melahirkan logo yang final berdasarkan keputusan bersama. Secara umum penciptaan logo harus dapat menjawab konsep dari entitas secara menyeluruh dan perlu pula adanya pertimbangan dalam tata kelola logo untuk pemanfaatannya secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

Suatu terbitan buku yang memiliki tujuan komersial pasti akan membutuhkan proses desain yang mendukung. Tujuannya tentu untuk membangun branding positif pada visual awal oleh pembaca dan tertarik untuk membaca. Selain isi konten buku, strategi visual dengan berbagai pertimbangan prinsip desain yang sejalan dengan konsep secara keseluruhan buku menjadi satu kesatuan utuh seperti pada perancangan sampul dan layout buku Persoalan Filsafat Ilmu Terapan Pariwisata yang dibahas. Berhubungan dengan ilmu filsafat maka referensi yang digunakan adalah penyederhanaan ilustrasi fractal, mozaik, dan low poly. Pemanfaatan tipografi pun dipilih dengan karakteristik huruf yang tidak terlalu kompleks seperti jenis sans serif serta prinsip-prinsip teoritik dalam tipografi. Pendekatan nuansa warna dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan makna unsur pariwisata dengan menggabungkan tone warna pada media sampul buku. Pada hasil akhir mempertimbangkan pula ruang display promo yang dapat menjangkau pembaca yang lebih luas dengan memanfaatkan media sosial dan google play book. Pada akhirnya buku yang diterbitkan memang selayaknya mempertimbangkan pula visual dan strategi pemasarannya, walau memerlukan waktu dalam penjualannya tetapi proses perancangan yang dilalui telah melingkupi berbagai hal yang bersifat strategis dalam penerbitan sebuah buku.

Abstract

The development of technology is very helpful in teaching and learning in general. However, these developments can also be used for students with disabilities, especially those who have communication disorders and deafness. But in reality, teachers are still limited in managing the development of teaching materials even though school facilities are sufficient to do that. This is very reasonable considering the limitations of educators who must specifically focus on trends in the development of technology-based education. The interactive method is one alternative solution, especially the role of multimedia technology in learning media. At the school for students with disabilities in Denpasar, SLB B Sidakarya for the category of communication disorder and deafness requires the media to follow these developments. In the initial design stage, taking vocabulary content for grade 1 students, by gathering various data needs, especially from the users, namely teachers and students. The data then becomes the basis for designing interactive multimedia vocabulary learning, which is the basic development of several subjects. The media will have a positive impact, especially increasing student interest in school, with files that are relatively lightweight and processed in design research, expected to be easier for students to learn. This media can also be a medium to help when students study at home, especially the Covid-19 pandemic period, certainly helped by collaboration between the school and design practitioners. In addition to vocabulary, it is also expected to be able to motivate development in other media to assist persons with disabilities in learning, especially in pandemic situations.
