Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah menuntut generasi muda untuk memiliki keterampilan kreatif yang adaptif, salah satunya melalui desain grafis. Namun, di SMPN 11 Denpasar, khususnya siswa kelas VII, kemampuan desain grafis masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari minimnya pemahaman terhadap prinsip dasar desain, keterbatasan fasilitas, serta rendahnya pemanfaatan perangkat lunak desain yang mudah diakses. Tim pengabdian merancang program pelatihan desain poster berbasis aplikasi Canva, yang dipilih karena aksesibilitas, kemudahan penggunaan, dan kelengkapan fitur yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa SMP. Pelatihan dirancang melalui tiga tahap, yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta penutup dan refleksi. Pada tahap persiapan, dilakukan koordinasi dengan sekolah dan penyusunan modul pembelajaran. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri dari empat sesi utama: pengenalan prinsip dasar desain grafis, pengenalan aplikasi Canva, latihan membuat poster berbasis template, dan pembuatan poster mandiri. Sesi ini menggabungkan transfer pengetahuan, praktik langsung, dan presentasi hasil karya siswa. Tahap akhir berupa evaluasi, diskusi reflektif, dan pemberian apresiasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai prinsip desain serta keterampilan teknis penggunaan Canva. Sebanyak 100 peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan antusias, mampu menghasilkan poster yang lebih estetis, komunikatif, dan sesuai dengan prinsip desain. Program ini mendapat apresiasi tinggi dari siswa maupun pihak sekolah karena berhasil meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, kreativitas, serta kesadaran akan pentingnya desain grafis sebagai keterampilan strategis di era digital. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini tidak hanya menjawab kebutuhan praktis sekolah, tetapi juga menjadi langkah strategis dalam menumbuhkan potensi generasi muda sebagai creativepreneur masa depan.

Abstract

Kebutuhan publikasi pada era kekinian sebagai wadah diseminasi informasi dan pengetahuan terutama tentang pembangunan menjadi hal yang penting. Jurnal Bali Membangun Bali sebagai salah satu wadah publikasi merupakan tindakan yang cerdas dalam mensiasati proses pembangunan dan kemajuan pembangunan secara berkesinambungan. Sarana publikasi online menjadi sarana yang tepat dalam publikasi hasil-hasil kajian dan seiring pula dengan himbauan Permenristek melalui Dirjen Dikti prihal publikasi. Adanya sarana online, selain dikelola tim profesional pada bidangnya, diperlukan pula suatu identitas yang mencirikan dan pengantar pesan dari JBMB. Penciptaan identitas visual berupa logo dilakukan dengan beragam pertimbangan dan analisis riset sehingga identitas tersebut dapat berfungsi sebagai mana mestinya. Logo pada BMB menjadi berperan karena mengakomodir filosofis dari rancangan JBMB diterbitkan. Penciptaan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan runut sehingga proses dapat diikuti dalam pembahasan. Sebagai logo perwakilan entitas BMB akan menjadi bagian popularitas diseminasi riset dan pembangunan yang ada di Provinsi Bali.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to know the existence of BSPS as a government program through PUPR and the review focuses on Muncan Village, Karangasem Regency, as one of the beneficiary areas. The program follows the decisions, directions, rules, and procedures established by the provincial government of Bali. Research methods: The data are analyzed to separate criteria related to problems and solutions, and also solutions based on procedures and purposely determine informants based on specific criteria and considerations. Findings: Constraints were complicated by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has an impact on various lines globally. Particular action needs to be taken primarily by TFL with the community. In addition to having to carry out procedures and rules in the distribution of aid, preventive measures addressing various field conditions also need to be considered. The analysis is divided into two categories: conditional on BSPS verification activities to keep going and initiatives to address the Covid-19 pandemic crisis in the field. Implications: The various obstacles faced are expected to become a consideration or study for the next period, especially with things that are unpredictable and are force majeure along with the team that is tasked directly in the field.

Abstract

Purpose: The housing rehabilitation program for low-income people is carried out by the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Muncan Village is one of the areas that received 2020 house rehabilitation assistance (BSPS) for Karangasem Regency. Research methods: Preventive measures are needed, especially for the Field Facilitator Team as the front guard, so that the BSPS program channelled adequately. The key to smooth distribution, in addition to the precise mechanism, must also follow the government's recommendations and implement health protocols. Findings: Constraints on distribution activities, starting from November 2019 to the initial process in April 2020. Field constraints, social aspects, education, and the community's situation become challenges in these activities. But beginning in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic made the distribution of aid even more complicated with adjustments to the rules and recommendations of the government in conducting activities. Implications: Additional mission the field team to accelerate the handling of the pandemic, an appeal about anticipating COVID-19 also needs to convey. Strategies related to initiatives provide a masker for beneficiaries to foster protocol awareness and motivation regarding applicable rules.

Abstract

Education in the digital age faces significant challenges in delivering informative and engaging material to students. In Indonesia, particularly in Bali, many high schools are working to integrate technology into the curriculum to improve student engagement and learning quality. One popular tool used is Canva, a graphic design platform that allows users to easily create engaging visual content. This research aims to explore innovations in multimedia graphic design with a focus on the use of the Canva design tool and its impact in interactive content development for high school students in Bali. Qualitative research methods were used to conduct a case study of Canva's implementation in the creation of interactive content for online learning in several high schools in Bali. The results show that the use of Canva as a multimedia graphic design tool makes a positive contribution in creating interactive content that is interesting and easily understood by students. The findings show Canva's great potential in supporting multimedia graphic design innovation in educational contexts, as well as addressing student engagement issues and making it easier for teachers to present interesting and interactive materials.

Abstract

Tattoos in the realm of Indonesian culture has now entered the realm of the tourism industry. Bali in particular, the tattoo is a promising industry, especially in tourist destinations. The presence of rapid tourism development and support of information technology provides opportunities for the enrichment of works in tattoos. Previous influence of outer style on a tattoo in Bali give the effect of shifting perspective to tattoo phenomenon during this time. Changes also occur in ornaments that penetrate the art or tradition ornaments because previously this is a taboo to do. The first step is to collect the data purposively so that it can be interpreted and described in a qualitative comparative analysis. The existence of commodities makes an indication of commodification in the practice of tattoo Balinese script, and there is the hidden motivation behind it. The meaning that can be extracted in this phenomenon is the symbolization that is understood only by the artist and his collector. This situation is symbiotic with the market changing the value that exists in the object and also emerges a creative effort that impacts on the sustainability of traditional Balinese script.

Abstract

Music has many lovers, especially in Bali there are many bands from various musical genres. In the development of indie music labels required hard work in creativity as supporting the popularity and success in the field of music. Faito 61, the band that existed from many hardcore bands of Bali maintained its existence with it so it is known among hardcore music fans from 2004-2010. Efforts to improve creativity and quality, Faito 61 released its first album as proof of maturity to fans and the community in addition to the creations of musicians that can generate and increase the band's popularity. It utilizes visual communication media as a supporting tool to maximize the album promo and this can also increase the popularity and sales of Faito 61 album. The existing media is so diverse that it needs to be selective and in accordance with theories, concepts and field conditions. For such provision it must begin with research and theoretical review. The hardcore concept is lifted according to the flow of the band. The design of Faito 61 album promo media, applied hardcore elements ranging from illustrations, typography and colors. Data obtained from direct interviews with direct observation media that has been owned so far then compared with design theory. Further analyzed qualitatively so that it can be concluded as the basic design.

Abstract

Brand new produce lifestyle support products, t-shirt products popping up fertile. The high competition in the clothing company industry causes, the product is demanded to have an appeal as a differentiator with other products. Some clothing companies have unique concepts, such as text or illustrations that are vulgar and even classified as taboo to say. The paradigm, making research on vulgar themed t-shirts need to a studied at an aesthetic level. Providing valuable input to the academic studies and clothing business. Qualitatively qualitative analysis, social phenomena in society as objects and the interesting reality of characteristics, signs or descriptions of the existing situation and phenomenon conditions. Prizes in the form of t-shirts with vulgar themes, it is assumed that the audience's awareness of art, including the composition of the results of the interaction between memory perception and visual perception as well as the sense of comprehension of the user.

Abstract

Logo digunakan penggunanya sebagai sarana identitas suatu lembaga, institusi, kelompok dan sebagainya. Pada logo biasanya terdapat aksen yang mencerminkan identitas yang diwakilkan yang dapat mengemban misi pesan perluasan identitas tersebut. Pada kebutuhannya logo terkait juga dengan hubungan antar lembaga sebagai suatu perwakilan keputusan legal yang digunakan oleh lembaga atau institusi bersangkutan. Berkaitan dengan logo sebagai suatu identitas, di Desa Celuk Buruan terdapat sebuah pura yang memiliki status cagar budaya. Pada Pura Ibu ini, merupakan pura yang disungsung beberapa keluarga yang berdomisili di Desa Celuk Buruan. Sebagai pura dengan status cagar budaya ini tentunya terkait dengan hubungan pada dinas-dinas terkait. Permasalahan hubungan tersebutlah, tercetus sebuah pemikiran yang mengarah pada simbol identitas yang berupa logo untuk tujuan tertentu. Adanya kebutuhan logo ini pula, tokoh masyarakat yang sekaligus sebagai pengempon Pura Ibu ini berkordinasi untuk mewujud suatu perancangan logo sebagai identitas. Perancangan logo ini tentu dilandasi dengan metode pengumpulan data yang dibutuhkan dan dianalisis sesuai dengan metode perancangan serta koparasi berdasarkan data teoritis yang ada. Pada kebutuhan visualisasi logo, menghasilkan sebuah logo Pura Ibu yang dapat mewakilkan identitas pura secara menyeluruh untuk kebutuhan administratif dan sebagainya.

Abstract

The combination of technology and art makes photography a complex work of art and a media of images that also gives meaning and message. The work of photography comes from certain creative concepts rooted in basic ideas, which then appear in a photoshoot. Bali prewedding style photo as a form of photographer's creativity, because in the process requires high creativity. The process of photography combining ideas and objects of photographs and photographers can be intertwined perfectly to produce the best photos. This study uses qualitative methods, supported by several theories to dissect the purpose of research, namely the theory of forms to dissect aspects of Balinese style prewedding photo forms, aesthetic theories to dissect aesthetic concepts, function theory to dissect function aspects, and semiotic theory to dissect meaning in photographs Balinese style prewedding. The results obtained, namely, the form of ideas in making prewedding photos based on ideas is a form of photo prewedding with Balinese architecture background. The Balinese style prewedding photo process is based on the social life of the people and the form of Balinese style prewedding based on Balinese style fashion.
