Abstract

The rise of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) represents a transformative shift in the global financial landscape, challenging traditional financial models and offering new possibilities for a more inclusive and efficient financial system. This study aims to explore the opportunities and challenges that DeFi poses to the conventional financial sector, focusing on its impact on banking, credit systems, investments, and payment systems. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including secondary data analysis, expert interviews, and first-hand experience with DeFi protocols such as lending, borrowing, and arbitrage. The findings highlight the significant potential of DeFi in creating alternative financial models that can increase financial inclusion, enhance access to capital, and reduce transaction costs. Recent data indicates that the Total Value Locked (TVL) in DeFi platforms has surged to over $50 billion as of January 2025, reflecting growing adoption. Additionally, daily transaction volumes across major DeFi platforms have reached approximately $10 billion, with active users exceeding 4 million globally. However, the research also identifies critical challenges, including regulatory uncertainty, security vulnerabilities, and the complexity of DeFi platforms, which pose barriers to mainstream adoption. This paper contributes to the understanding of how DeFi can reshape the financial ecosystem, offering insights into its future potential, the risks involved, and the steps required to address the existing challenges. Furthermore, it underscores the need for ongoing research into the regulatory aspects of DeFi and its collaboration with traditional financial institutions.

Abstract

The management of office stationery supplies (ATK) plays a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of a company, especially in daily administrative activities. This study aims to analyse the method of disbursement and determination of stationery inventory at PT API. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data collection techniques included interviews, direct observations, and documentation of goods receipt and disbursement reports in the company's asset unit. The analysis reveals that the ATK disbursement method currently in use is still periodic and not entirely based on actual data, resulting in discrepancies between stock levels and real operational needs. Additionally, the determination of inventory levels is conducted without the implementation of a standardized system, which poses risks of both overstocking and stock shortages. The application of the FIFO (First In, First Out) method is considered more appropriate in this context as it improves inventory management efficiency, reduces waste, and reflects a more realistic inventory value in financial reporting. The study concludes that the implementation of a data-based inventory management system and standardized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is essential to ensure better control over ATK disbursement and to support corporate accountability. This would also align inventory practices with operational demands and financial transparency.

Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic has become a global epidemic that allows anyone to be exposed regardless of nation, ethnicity and religion. The implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), which is an effort to break the chain of distribution, cannot be said to be a powerful solution to overcome the epidemic situation that makes all aspects of life difficult. This article focuses on how the Muslim community of Blitar City perceives PSBB during the Covid-19 Pandemic, especially with regard to the potential benefits and disadvantages. The method is a qualitative research and is a legal research with a normative-juridical pattern with empirical data obtained from several academic literatures on PSBB and its dynamics. The results show that PSBB in the midst of its complexity, has the opportunity to break and anticipate the spread of Covid-19 on the one hand, and has the power to weaken economic resilience on the other, thus triggering stakeholders to innovate to find solutions. This reality makes the Muslim community of Blitar City create several social movements based on food security, and maintain purchasing power.

Abstract

This study juridically analyzes the dualism of supervisory authority over Savings and Loan Cooperatives (KSP) between the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Using a normative legal method, the research identifies regulatory ambiguity and overlap concerning licensing, guidance, and sanctions. The findings indicate that inconsistencies in legislation create supervisory gaps, which can harm KSP members. Therefore, this study recommends a revision and harmonization of regulations to clarify the authority of both institutions. New policies should be based on the characteristics of cooperatives as member-based, family-oriented entities to ensure optimal protection for their members.   Keywords: Dualism of Authority, Cooperative Supervision, OJK

Abstract

Pernikahan dianggap sebagai peristiwa penting dalam kehidupan seseorang yang memperkuat kesatuan keluarga, sesuai dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan dan kekeluargaan bangsa Indonesia. Tujuan pernikahan meliputi pemenuhan kebutuhan biologis, reproduksi, menjaga kehormatan, beribadah, dan lain-lain. Keluarga merupakan unit terkecil yang berperan dalam membangun agama dan negara. Namun, tidak semua pasangan mampu membangun keluarga yang kokoh dan bahagia. Pendidikan pranikah menjadi langkah penting untuk membantu calon suami dan istri memahami tanggung jawab pernikahan, memecahkan masalah, dan membangun hubungan yang kuat dan harmonis. Selain itu, pentingnya komunikasi efektif, penyelesaian konflik yang baik, serta pemahaman tentang peran gender dalam hubungan pernikahan juga menjadi fokus dalam pendidikan pranikah. Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar di tandai dengan antusias peserta ketika proses tanya jawab.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of photography and videography as hobbies on individuals' well-being, creativity, and personal growth. It investigates how these art forms contribute to skill development, self-expression, and social engagement, and examines the perceived benefits and challenges associated with practicing these hobbies. A qualitative approach is used, incorporating in-depth interviews with both amateur and professional photographers and videographers. Thematic analysis is employed to identify and analyse the patterns and themes within the interview data, providing a deeper understanding of the participants' experiences. Thematic analysis is conducted in a structured process. This includes initial familiarization with interview transcripts, generation of codes, identification of recurring themes, refinement of those themes, and the development of a comprehensive narrative. This process ensures that key insights relating to well-being, creativity, and personal growth are captured. The study concludes that photography and videography play a transformative role in enhancing well-being and mental health by offering stress relief and increasing life satisfaction. These hobbies also encourage creativity, self-expression, and skill development. Furthermore, they foster personal growth by boosting confidence, self-esteem, and social connections. Although challenges such as financial constraints and time commitments exist, the overall impact of these activities is overwhelmingly positive, contributing significantly to personal development and community involvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran dalam meningkatkan jumlah hunian kamar di Karma Kandara Resort Bali Ungasan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Human Resources Department dan Sales Marketing dengan jumlah 12 orang. Jumlah sampel yang dipergunakan adalah sampel jenuh berjumlah 12 orang. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah kekuatan (strength), kelemahan (weakness), peluang (opportunities), dan ancaman (threats). Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini terdiri dari, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan faktor internal dengan pembobotan indikator internal Harga special untuk repeater guest memiliki bobot terkecil yaitu sejumlah 0.09. Bobot tertinggi bernilai sama 0.10. terdapat pada hampir semua indikator internal. Hasil pengurangan keseluruhan skor menunjukkan titik koordinat nantinya untuk faktor internal sebesar -0,08 untuk Matriks IFAS. Indikator eksternal, Tingkat inflasi yang stabil mendapatkan bobot sebesar 0.09, sedangkan indikator lainnya mendapatkan pembobotan yang sama yaitu sebesar 0.10. Hasil pengurangan rating keseluruhan skor menunjukkan titik koordinat untuk faktor eksternal sebesar 0,12 untuk Matriks EFAS. Strategi bisnis Karma Kandara Resort Bali Ungasan berada di kuadran II pada Matriks IE(internal-external). Terdapat 3 strategi SO, Terdapat 2 Strategi ST, dan Terdapat 1 Strategi WO, dan Strategi terakhir terdapat 2 Strategi WT.

Abstract

Evaluation is the most important stage of financial management. Evaluation of financial management has an influence on improving the quality of education starting from the quality of input, process and output. Based on this phenomenon or problem, researchers are interested in researching the evaluation of financial management in improving the quality of education at MA Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto. Based on this background, the objectives of this research are as follows: 1) To determine financial supervision at MA Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto. 2) To find out the form of financial accountability at MA Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach, to collect data researchers use observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this research are: evaluation of financial management in improving the quality of education at MA Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto manages finances very well by conducting routine and ongoing financial evaluations to be able to improve the quality of educational supporting facilities and infrastructure, namely in the form of developing digital media, among others. others are ADILS (Al-Amin digital Learning system), ALIMS (Al-Amin Library management system), as well as non-cash based transactions A-Cash and A-Smart.

Abstract

This study explores how humble street-style fried rice can be transformed into a premium star-hotel dish by integrating advances in food processing, quality control, and culinary tourism strategy. The aims are to enhance safety and shelf-life, standardize sensory quality, and reposition fried rice as a signature upscale offering. Methodologically, the paper synthesizes recent developments in prepared fried rice technologies, including novel thermal and non-thermal processing, freezing, and quality-monitoring tools, alongside case-based insights from tourism-driven dish upgrading and local rice innovations as culinary icons. Analysis focuses on microbial safety, starch retrogradation, texture, colour, and flavour stabilization, as well as menu standardization, presentation, and branding for tourist and hotel markets. The study concludes that combining advanced processing (e.g., physical field and static magnetic field freezing) with standardized recipes and tourism-oriented branding can elevate fried rice from roadside fare to a consistent, marketable star-hotel dish.
