Abstract

The cultivation of tilapia fish presents promising business prospects in the fisheries sector, particularly in Pangandaran Regency. Despite existing efforts to promote tilapia fish cultivation in various villages and sub-districts, the increasing demand for consumption has led to unmet community needs. Limited cultivation land poses a challenge in fulfilling this demand. The adoption of aquaculture technology, specifically the biofloc system, offers a solution to optimize land use and address water conservation concerns. Biofloc technology enables fish farmers to minimize land requirements while enhancing fisheries production efficiency. The key partners involved in the implementation of biofloc technology in tilapia fish cultivation in narrow land areas are the Tidar fisheries business group and the Bina Mandiri fisheries business group, both situated in Pangandaran Regency. The primary issues faced by these fish cultivator groups include traditional cultivation techniques, simplicity and ineffectiveness in tilapia fish production, dependence on manufactured feed due to limited knowledge in feed processing, and the challenge of restricted land availability. By introducing and implementing the biofloc system, these challenges can be effectively addressed, providing a sustainable and efficient solution for tilapia fish cultivation in Pangandaran Regency. This initiative not only meets the increasing market demand for tilapia fish but also promotes environmentally conscious and economically viable aquaculture practices.

Abstract

Challenges in the era of disruption require individuals to possess not only intellectual intelligence but also emotional intelligence to navigate problems and challenges effectively. Emotionally intelligent individuals can handle difficulties in learning processes and manage stress when facing real-life problems. Physical Education serves as a medium to develop students' social and emotional skills through its curriculum. This review aims to understand how Physical Education in Indonesia contributes to the development of students' emotional intelligence over the past ten years. The study employs a literature review method, collecting articles through search engines such as Google Scholar. The selection criteria include articles published from 2013 to 2022. The findings indicate a positive correlation between Physical Education and emotional intelligence in developing essential 21st-century skills. This study emphasizes that emotional intelligence can be fostered through affective learning in Physical Education, explicitly designed to build students' character and emotional intelligence in facing 21st-century challenges. Furthermore, emotional intelligence predicts students' ability to develop 21st-century skills, such as teamwork, effective communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking.

Abstract

Background: Motivation and skill development are vital in physical education, particularly football. Tactical learning emphasizes decision-making and game understanding, while technical learning focuses on mastering fundamental skills. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the impact of a TPACK-based tactical and technical learning approach on student motivation and football skill acquisition among high school students in Tasikmalaya. Methods: The study applied the TPACK framework—integrating Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge—in designing the learning model. Using an experimental method with a pre-test–post-test design, 30 students were divided into two groups. Motivation was assessed via a Likert-scale questionnaire, while football skills (passing, heading, dribbling, shooting, and playing ability) were evaluated through standardized tests. Data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The technical approach significantly enhanced basic football skills, notably heading (t = 8.47) and shooting (t = 8.29), proving its effectiveness in improving fundamental competencies. Conversely, the tactical approach showed a notable increase in student motivation (t = 4.98) and playing ability (t = 5.94), reflecting its strength in fostering strategic understanding and engagement. TPACK integration further reinforced both approaches through effective use of technology. Conclusions: The study highlights the importance of combining tactical and technical approaches to promote holistic student development. Continued research is needed to explore the long-term effects and potential of integrating diverse technological tools in physical education.
