Abstract

The implementation of digital technology in the global health sector has received strong support, with the adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) becoming a primary focus in modernizing health systems to improve service quality. However, in Indonesia, 48.9% or 4,807 community health centers (Puskesmas) have not yet adopted EMR technology. Therefore, pre-implementation analysis is crucial to identify barriers and opportunities for success. The TOE (Technology-Organization-Environment) framework serves as an analytical model for technology adoption at the organizational level, capable of explaining the factors influencing the decision to adopt technological innovations. This study aims to develop a TOE instrument in Indonesian, adapted from previous research, and adjusted to the research context. The instrument is structured in the form of a questionnaire, tested for validity and reliability. The validity test results indicate that all questionnaire items are valid (r calculated > r table), while the reliability test shows a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.916, indicating that the instrument is reliable. This questionnaire can be used to analyze the factors influencing technology adoption in the implementation of EMR in health facilities and can serve as a basis for future research development

Abstract

Advances in digital technology in the health sector have created significant opportunities for health workers to enhance their ability to detect non-communicable diseases (NCDs) at an early stage. The use of the risk detection feature in the SatuSehat application at the primary service level is still limited because some officers do not understand how to use it and its benefits in promotive and preventive activities. This community service program aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of Puskesmas staff in using the SatuSehat application as a tool for early detection of NCDs. The method employed was training with a participatory educational approach, involving the presentation of materials, live demonstrations, discussions, and evaluations through pre- and post-tests. The activity was conducted at the Kesunean Health Center in Cirebon City and involved 25 health workers. The results showed an improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the average pre-test score increasing from 79 to 90 in the post-test. Several participants were introduced to the early detection feature for the first time during the training and expressed strong interest in applying it. The training contributed to improving digital literacy among health workers and strengthening NCD prevention efforts at the primary care level.

Abstract

Abstract

The implementation of biometric technology in healthcare services is one of the digital innovations aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of patient services. One of its applications is the FRISTA system, which is based on face recognition technology and used in the outpatient registration process at the Orthopedic Clinic of X Regional General Hospital. This study aims to evaluate the level of user satisfaction with the FRISTA system using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of 1,964 patients who used the FRISTA system during the period of July to September 2025. The research sample consisted of 95 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire covering the five dimensions of EUCS, namely content, format, accuracy, timeliness, and ease of use. The data were analyzed descriptively using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that all dimensions were categorized as satisfactory, with content scoring 4.14, format 4.09, accuracy 4.03, timeliness 4.13, and ease of use 4.12. The highest score was obtained in the content dimension, while the lowest was found in the accuracy dimension, particularly in aspects related to technical disruptions or system errors. Overall, the FRISTA system was considered capable of supporting the outpatient registration process in an informative, efficient, and user-friendly manner. However, improvements in technical stability, real-time data updates, and feature development are still needed to further enhance service quality and optimize user satisfaction.

Abstract

The achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Targets 3.1 and 3.2 requires a responsive health system capable of accurately detecting and mapping maternal and child health issues. Indonesia continues to face major challenges, including high maternal mortality rates, stagnant progress in reducing stunting, and the burden of diseases that directly affect the well-being of mothers and infants. In 2020, Majalengka Regency ranked 7th highest in West Java in terms of infant mortality, with an IMR of 14.5 per 1,000 live births. This study aims to provide an overview of the conditions of maternal and child health problems using the PAHO Adapted Hanlon prioritization method in Majalengka Regency. The study employed a quantitative descriptive design to identify priority problems. The population consisted of all ten officers at the Majalengka District Health Office who were responsible for family health and nutrition programs. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling. Data was collected using a research instrument in the form of scoring sheets. Based on calculations using the PAHO Adapted Hanlon method, the priority order for maternal and child health issues is: 1) Chronic Energy Deficiency in pregnant women, 2) Stunting, 3) Low Birth Weight, 4) Anemia in pregnant women, 5) Infant mortality, and 6) Maternal mortality. The main priority for maternal and child health issues in Majalengka Regency in 2024 is pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency. The consistent increase in the number of cases and the high level of severity necessitate focused mitigation efforts and effective interventions from the relevant health authorities.
