Abstract

Masalah kekerasan seksual terhadap anak merupakan masalah yang perlu mendapat perhatian, khususnya di sekolah. Data menunjukkan bahwa kejadian kekerasan seksual di Indonesia masih tinggi, dan banyak sekolah terus menghadapi kendala terkait dengan masalah ini. SD Inpres 8 Mamboro berkomitmen menciptakan lingkungan yang aman bagi anak-anak. Namun, kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai pencegahan kekerasan seksual justru membuat siswa semakin rentan. Para akademisi melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) melalui teknologi presentasi untuk bertukar informasi dan meningkatkan kesadaran tentang kekerasan seksual. Tujuannya adalah untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dengan membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mengenali, mencegah, dan melaporkan kekerasan seksual. Kegiatan yang berlangsung selama dua hari di SD Inpres 8 Mamboro yang berfokus pada siswa kelas IV hingga VI yang berjumlah 30 peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatif. Sharing knowledge ini penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan menjadikan mereka lebih berani melaporkan tindakan kekerasan yang mereka alami atau saksikan. Pendidikan kekerasan seksual di sekolah dasar merupakan langkah penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung bagi anak-anak untuk membangun kapasitas mereka.

Abstract

Kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana gempa bumi masih menjadi tantangan besar dalam dunia pendidikan dasar, terutama bagi peserta didik yang tergolong kelompok rentan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesiapan peserta didik dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi melalui pendekatan edukasi interaktif di SD Inpres 2 Talise, Palu. Metode yang diterapkan adalah ceramah interaktif tentang kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi di dalam kelas, dengan tiga tahapan utama yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan memperlihatkan adanya adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap kesiapsiagaan bencana, hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan 77,8% peserta didik berada pada kategori pengetahuan yang baik. Namun, keterbatasan jumlah peserta didik serta variasi tingkat pemahaman menjadi tantangan dalam pelaksanaan edukasi tersebut. Oleh karena itu, edukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana perlu terus dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan metode yang lebih inovatif guna menciptakan budaya tanggap bencana sejak dini.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan proses yang bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas metode pengajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran evaluasi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas belajar mahasiswa PGSD. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan evaluasi pembelajaran serta memberikan solusi guna mengoptimalkan proses evaluasi agar lebih efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa PGSD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 82,5% mahasiswa sangat memahami pentingnya evaluasi dalam pembelajaran, sementara 58,75% lainnya cukup memahami, meskipun masih mengalami beberapa kendala. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah metode evaluasi yang kurang bervariasi dan kurang efektif dalam mendukung pemahaman secara menyeluruh. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun mayoritas mahasiswa menyadari pentingnya evaluasi dalam pembelajaran, masih terdapat kendala dalam pelaksanaannya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam strategi evaluasi agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara optimal.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada kebutuhan untuk menemukan strategi yang relevan dan efektif dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter di tengah dominasi penggunaan media digital oleh siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan memanfaatkan YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran yang menarik dan dekat dengan keseharian siswa, sekolah dapat mengoptimalkan teknologi untuk membentuk karakter yang positif sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh YouTube terhadap pendidikan karakter siswa di SDN Inpres 2 Talise. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen untuk menguji pengaruh konten YouTube terhadap pendidikan karakter siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Inpres 2 Talise, dengan 20 siswa kelas VA sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 19 siswa kelas VB sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei, kuesioner, dan wawancara, serta dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi dunia pendidikan, penerapan YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran dapat menjadi pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam meningkatkan pendidikan karakter siswa di sekolah dasar, terutama dalam hal nilai-nilai seperti kerjasama, empati, dan tanggung jawab. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: ada pengaruh YouTube terhadap pendidikan karakter siswa di SDN Inpres 2 Talise

Abstract

This research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class I students at SDN Baluase through the application of concrete media. Concrete media was chosen because of its ability to help students understand abstract mathematical concepts through the manipulation of real objects. This research uses a classroom action approach (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data was collected through test sheets, observations and documentation, which were then analyzed descriptively to measure improvements in student learning outcomes. The subjects of this research were 30 class I students. Data collection was carried out through quantitative data from student test results, while qualitative data was obtained from student test sheets and observation sheets during the learning process. The research success indicator is set with a completion target of 75%. The research results show that the application of concrete media in mathematics learning significantly improves student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, only 40% of students achieved completeness with a KKM score of 75. After implementing concrete media, there was a significant increase to 66% in Cycle I and 97% in Cycle II. This research shows that the use of concrete media in mathematics learning in class I at SDN Baluase significantly improves student learning outcomes. The results obtained show a consistent increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts, object manipulation abilities, and self-confidence. This increase shows that concrete media is effective in helping students understand mathematical concepts better, so that the learning process becomes more interactive and interesting. With concrete media, students are more easily involved in learning and improve learning outcomes and understanding and mathematical skills.

Abstract

Objective: Primary education plays a strategic role in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda, especially in shaping environmental awareness and improving students' well-being from an early age. However, the integration of SDGs in learning practices still faces structural and pedagogical challenges at the school level. This study aims to examine the implementation of SDGs values in primary school learning and analyze how education quality management contributes to the effectiveness of the implementation. Method: This study used a qualitative approach with a collective case study design involving 15 primary schools in Palu City. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed thematically. Results: Results showed that schools with structured quality management systems and participatory leadership were more successful in internalizing SDGs values in learning, particularly through thematic activities and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). The impact is seen in the improvement of students' environmentally conscious behavior and social empathy. This research confirms the importance of a systemic approach that integrates pedagogical and managerial aspects in supporting the achievement of SDGs at the basic education level. Novelty: The findings contribute to the theory of sustainable education and offer practical implications for education policy at the local and national levels

Abstract

Inovasi pembelajaran di sekolah dasar sering terkendala oleh minimnya kompetensi digital guru dan kurang optimalnya integrasi kearifan lokal. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan menguatkan keterampilan guru SDN 8 Labuan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR) yang mengintegrasikan konten etnosains dan etnomatematika. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan 20 peserta melalui lokakarya intensif dan pendampingan. Peserta dilatih memproduksi aset 3D menggunakan kecerdasan buatan (Generative AI) dan merakitnya menjadi media interaktif pada platform Assemblr Edu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada literasi digital dan pedagogis guru, dibuktikan dengan terciptanya produk media AR berbasis budaya lokal, seperti visualisasi Rumah Adat Souraja. Evaluasi program mencatatkan skor kepuasan rata-rata 9,18 (kategori Sangat Baik), dengan apresiasi tertinggi pada relevansi materi terhadap pelestarian budaya.  Program pengabdian ini efektif meningkatkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan media Augmented Reality (AR) berbasis etnosains dan etnomatematika. Integrasi AR, kearifan lokal, dan teknologi generatif berbasis AI mampu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak secara kontekstual sekaligus menurunkan hambatan teknis guru. Pendampingan berkelanjutan direkomendasikan untuk memastikan konsistensi penerapan media AR dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

Primary education plays a critical role in shaping future human resources, making the quality of learning processes essential. This study examined the strategic management practices of the principal at SDN 2 Bora, a rural primary school in Indonesia, in achieving national learning process standards. The research addressed challenges commonly faced by rural schools, including limited facilities, varied teacher competencies, and fluctuating student motivation. A qualitative case study design was employed, involving 16 teachers, 150 students, 30 parents, and educational staff as participants. Data were collected through questionnaires, systematic observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The Miles and Huberman interactive model was used for data analysis, supplemented by triangulation techniques to ensure trustworthiness. Findings revealed that the principal demonstrated effective strategic management across three key components. Strategic planning was conducted collaboratively and systematically (teacher rating: 95.0%, student: 87.6%, parent: 94.6%). Implementation was supported through active instructional leadership and supportive supervision (teacher: 92.5%, student: 88.5%, parent: 86.8%). Evaluation was performed regularly to guide continuous improvement (teacher: 90.9%, student: 89.3%, parent: 87.1%). Overall stakeholder satisfaction averaged 90.2%, categorized as "Very Good." The study concludes that strategic management significantly improved teacher performance, student engagement, and parental involvement, demonstrating that effective leadership can overcome resource constraints in achieving educational quality standards in rural primary schools.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of animated videos and Quizizz on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) among fourth-grade elementary students. A quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest was employed, involving 40 students at SD Negeri 8 Mamboro divided into experimental (n=20) and control (n=20) groups. The experimental group received instruction through animated videos and Quizizz, while the control group continued with conventional methods over three weeks. Data were collected using validated achievement tests (Cronbach's α = 0.767) and analyzed through Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank tests. Results revealed significant differences between groups, with the experimental group achieving superior posttest performance (M = 76.75, SD = 11.154) compared to controls (M = 65.00, SD = 15.728), confirmed by Mann-Whitney U test (U = 104.000, p = 0.009). Normalized gain analysis demonstrated moderate effectiveness for the experimental group (N-Gain = 0.4876) versus low effectiveness for controls (N-Gain = 0.2688). Completion rates improved substantially from 5% to 60% in the experimental group, compared to 10% to 25% in controls. These findings support cognitive theory of multimedia learning and self-determination theory, demonstrating that integrated implementation of animated videos and Quizizz significantly enhances elementary science learning outcomes through dual-channel information processing and gamified assessment that sustains motivation and engagement.

Abstract

Low IPAS learning outcomes among sixth-grade students at Alkhairaat Tondo Elementary School, attributed to conventional teacher-centered instruction, necessitated pedagogical intervention to enhance student achievement and engagement. This study aimed to improve IPAS learning outcomes through systematic implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. Employing classroom action research based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, this study was conducted across two cycles with 26 sixth-grade students during October-November 2025. Data were collected through criterion-referenced achievement tests (20 items, KR-20 = 0.82) and validated observation sheets (Cohen's kappa = 0.85) documenting teacher and student activities. Analysis utilized both quantitative descriptive statistics and qualitative rubric-based assessment. Classical completeness increased significantly from 58% in Cycle I to 88% in Cycle II, representing a 30 percentage point improvement. Concurrently, teacher activity performance improved from 66% (adequate) to 91% (very good), while student engagement advanced from 64% to 89%. Notably, mid-range achievers (initial scores 60-75) demonstrated greater gains (average 18 points) compared to lower-achieving students (average 12 points), suggesting differential PBL impact across performance levels. Systematic PBL implementation effectively improves IPAS learning outcomes while enhancing teacher facilitation quality and student engagement. The iterative action research process enabled progressive refinement of instructional practices, though lower-achieving students may require additional scaffolding for equitable outcomes.
