Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar program, initiated by the Minister of Education, Nadiem Makarim, encourages principals to adjust the curriculum and supporting programs to create an independent, creative, and collaborative learning environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the principal as an innovator in the transformation of independent learning at SDIT Mufidatul 'Ilmi. The study used a qualitative method in which researchers collected data through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that in carrying out the role of an innovative principal, it was done by creating creative and student-oriented learning management policies and utilizing existing facilities in the school environment, as a facilitator for teacher competency development, building a democratic school culture, and liaising with external stakeholders for school progress. In addition, the principal provides opportunities for teachers and education personnel to improve their skills through various activities at school and with school partners. Collaboration with parents of students and the local government is also continuously carried out to maintain positive synergy and create good and harmonious relationships. This study reveals the role of the principal as an innovator in the Merdeka Belajar policy, highlighting learning management strategies, teacher competency development, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Abstract

Islamic education in the world today is experiencing a period of intellectual stagnation, among the signs that renewal is absent, and if anything, it is losing fast with advances in the technological, social, and political fields. Lack of future planning in education management thus making management less structured. Implementing Islamic education planning management in accordance with the Qur'an is expected to have a positive impact. The goal is to form a generation that has a good understanding and practice of religion. This approach is considered a necessity to make education structured, so that it can help a person to be more devoted to Allah SWT and apply moral principles in everyday life. Thus, the implementation of Islamic education planning management is expected to contribute significantly in shaping individuals who have noble character and live life in accordance with the teachings of Islam. The purpose of the researcher linking the management of Islamic Education planning in the review of Fakhru Razi's interpretation is to understand and apply Islamic principles in Education planning through the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an, so that education can be organized in accordance with Islamic values and teachings. Fakhruddin Ar-Razi emphasizes the importance of combining Islamic religious principles with a management approach in managing the education system, as well as its implementation in planning Islamic education holistically. Thus, the aim of this study is to that researchers choose the type of literature study research through a qualitative approach using an analytical descriptive approach that is normative in nature that is adjusted to the source of literature sources. The results of his research are 1) Management constitutes social a systematic science for understanding why and how people work together.2) There are lafadz that are commensurate with planning, one of which is the practice in surah Al-Kahfi verse 48 which means hope.3) Some verses related to Islamic Education planning management. Islamic education planning management is an effort made systematically and organized to achieve high quality education in accordance with the study of the Qur'an and Hadith, as interpreted by Fakhru Razi in the Qur'an surah Al-Imran verses 35 and 39, Al-Hasyr verse 18, Al-Hujurat verse 13.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana prinsip-prinsip manajemen strategis yang diterapkan dalam Perang Khandaq dapat dihubungkan dengan pengelolaan pendidikan Islam saat ini. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menjadikan Kitab Al Bidāyah wa An Nihāyah karya Ibnu Katsir sebagai referensi utama. Proses penelitian melibatkan pengumpulan data historis, evaluasi sumber, interpretasi, dan penulisan ulang konteks sejarah. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa strategi parit, ide Salman Al Farisi, menggambarkan betapa pentingnya perencanaan yang matang, kerja tim, dan pengelolaan risiko dalam menghadapi tantangan besar. Rasulullah SAW juga menunjukkan kepemimpinan yang mengutamakan dialog, empati, dan visi jangka panjang, yang menjadi inspirasi bagi manajemen lembaga pendidikan Islam di era modern. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya nilai-nilai Islami dalam membentuk siswa yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis tetapi juga memiliki karakter mulia. Dengan menyesuaikan nilai-nilai historis ini ke dalam tantangan globalisasi dan teknologi, studi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat sistem pendidikan Islam yang relevan untuk kebutuhan masa kini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of school image through a special event program at SMP Bina Anak Sholeh Yogyakarta. This type of research belongs to qualitative research. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers, employees, and representatives of students, parents, and  local communities. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmation tests are applied to test the validity of the data. The results of the study explained that the success of the special event program  is supported by good management which includes the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling (evaluation) so as to create public trust and increase public interest in choosing a school for boys / girls at SMPIT BIAS Yogyakarta. The special event program  is designed at the beginning of the new school year by involving the committee from the public relations team and several educators and education staff. This activity is carried out twice a year, which is divided into once a semester. The role of school principals and heads of public relations in monitoring activities is one of the indicators of the success of  special event programs. In addition, the form of a report after each activity is used for evaluation and follow-up on the next activity program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of public relations in maintaining the reputation of MI Hamalatul Qur'an Karawang, identifying the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by public relations in maintaining the school's reputation based on facts on the ground. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation methods. Data validity uses source triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques use the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that public relations plays a role as a communicator, relationship builder, supporter of management functions, and guardian of the school's reputation. This role is realized through various communication activities directly and through social media. The success of public relations is influenced by several supporting factors, such as effective communication, availability of facilities and infrastructure, community support, quality of human resources, and the ability to handle issues. Inhibiting factors include the lack of public understanding of education and school relationship management, as well as the potential for miscommunication between school residents and the community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze in depth the process of boarding school-based educational management in forming a positive cultural character of students at Trenmatika IBS School Bekasi. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews with the school principal, teachers, musyrif (mentors), students, and parents, as well as observation of daily activities and documentation of school programs. The research findings show that educational management is implemented in a structured manner through the stages of planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation, which are integrated with religious and character values. Programs such as Sholat Khusyu' (prayer with deep concentration), Tahsinul Qur’an (improving Qur'an recitation), time management, and environmental cleanliness are part of a habituation strategy that shapes the discipline, responsibility, and spirituality of students. Supervision is carried out continuously with a reward and punishment system and parental involvement through communication forums. These findings indicate that effective and participatory management can create an educational environment that supports holistic character building. The limitation of this research lies in the untapped aspects of quantitative measurement and a more in-depth role of the family. The implications of this research can serve as a reference for the development of character education management in other boarding school environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui SWOT yaitu strengths (kekuatan), weakness (kelemahan), opportunity (peluang), threats (ancaman) dalam pembelajaran daring era pandemic covid-19 pada jenejang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian library research yang mana menggunakan sumber data berupa buku, artikel atau jurnal. Hasil penelitian yaitu pada dimensi strengths (kekuatan) menjelaskan tentang motivasi dari guru dan orang tua kepada peserta didik, dukungan fasilitas penunjang pembelajaran (handphone, laptop, kuota), penggunaan aplikasi portal rumah belajar Kemendikbud, menambah keahlian dan kreativitas guru dan peserta didik, dan pelaksanaan program pendampingan belajar di rumah. Pada dimensi weakness (kelemahan) menjelaskan tentang tingkat kedisiplinan peserta didik  dalam pembelajaran daring belum maksimal, kejenuhan peserta didik dengan kegiatan monoton, kurangnya waktu interaksi peserta didik dengan guru, kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua pada anak, minimnya tingkat literasi digital. Pada dimensi opportunity (peluang) menjelaskan tentang pengembangan wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru dan peserta didik, meningkatkan kerja sama antara orang tua dan guru. Pada dimensi threats (ancaman) menjelaskan tentang penyediaan kuota internet dan biaya pembelajaran daring, jaringan internet yang kurang stabil, minimnya fasilitas pendukung berupa handphone atau laptop, kesehatan dan ketahanan tubuh. This study aims to determine SWOT, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats in online learning in the era of the covid-19 pandemic at the elementary school. This research uses a library research which uses data sources in the form of books, articles or journals. The results of the study are on the strengths dimension explaining the motivation of teachers and parents to students, support for learning support facilities (mobile phones, laptops, quotas), the use of the Ministry of Education and Culture's home learning portal application, increasing the skills and creativity of teachers and students, and implementing mentoring programs. study at home. The weakness dimension explains the level of student discipline in online learning is not maximized, student saturation with monotonous activities, lack of interaction time between students and teachers, lack of parental supervision of children, lack of digital literacy levels. The opportunity dimension describes the development of insight, knowledge and skills for teachers and students, increasing cooperation between parents and teachers. The threats dimension describes the provision of internet quota and online learning costs, unstable internet network, lack of supporting facilities in the form of mobile phones or laptops, health and body resistance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the recruitment system of educators at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan Yogyakarta, and improve the quality of education through the recruitment system of educators. The study employed a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from a selected group of school staff. The results showed that the recruitment system for educators at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan Yogyakarta was described in several stages, namely, administration, interview stages, and reading and writing the Qur'an and micro teaching. The school is looking for qualified educators according to the profile and has a teaching commitment to improve the quality of education at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan. The school's efforts in improving quality by conducting development programs for educators and evaluation activities every week. The school provides facilities in developing the talents and interests of students with extracurricular and simaan activities to increase memorization which is carried out twice a week. The implications of recruiting educators have loyalty and commitment in teaching. Before prospective educators officially become educators at SDIT Salsabila 3 Banguntapan make a work contract agreement first according to the applicable work agreement

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini memiliki tiga tujuan utama yaitu 1) untuk mengetahui urgensi pendampingan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva dalam meningkatkan skill Guru dalam mengembangkan media ajar. 2) Untuk mengetahui proses pendampingan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva di MTs Negeri 4 OKU Timur. 3) Untuk mengetahui hasil pendampingan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva di MTs Negeri 4 OKU Timur. Metode PKM menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), di mana komunitas secara aktif terlibat dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pendampingan. Ada 5 tahap metode PAR yaitu menyiapan Sosial, Community Riset Social Problem Diagnosti, Planning, Political Action, Reflection. Hasil PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Berdasarkan hasil FGD yang di laksanakan, MTS Negeri 4 OKU Timur sangat membutuhkan pendampingan peningkatan kualitas Guru pada aspek pengembangan media ajar berbasis teknologi aplikasi Canva. 2) Pelaksanaan PKM di awali dari penetapan tujuan pendampingan, penyampaian materi, praktik dan refleksi. 3) PKM yang di laksanakan terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan Guru secara signifikan antara sebelum pendampingan yaitu sebesar 24% dan meningkat secara signifikan menjadi 63% setelah diberikan pendampingan. Hasil survey kepuasan peserta menunjukan tingkat kepuasan sangat baik dengan nilai rerata kumulatif 4,87 dari skala 1-5.
