Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by female supervisors to guide students to become high achievers at the Hamalatul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School in Karawang. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects include female supervisors, students, and boarding school administrators selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the female supervisors’ strategies are implemented comprehensively through three main aspects. First, character development through setting a good example, fostering habits, and enforcing discipline. Second, academic development through monitoring learning, providing motivation, and offering support to students facing difficulties. Third, Quran memorization development through the recitation system, review sessions, and the talaqqi method. The success of this strategy is supported by the musyrifah’s commitment, the religious environment of the pesantren, and the support of caregivers and parents, while the challenges faced include differences in students’ personalities and limited time for guidance. Thus, the musyrifah’s strategy plays a significant role in shaping outstanding students.

Abstract

Effective, efficient, and accountable financial management is a fundamental aspect in realizing quality education in Islamic schools, and this is in line with the message of QS. Al-Isra' verses 26–27. This study applies a qualitative approach through a literature study method, with the main sources being Tafsir Fakhr Ar-Razi and relevant scientific articles published in the last five years. The results of the study indicate that ideal education fund management can be achieved through the implementation of four management functions (POAC): directed planning, clear organization, targeted implementation, and transparent supervision. Specifically, the interpretation of Fakhr al-Din al-Razi emphasizes that the prohibition of tabdzir is not limited to material waste, but includes the use of assets that deviate from the right purpose and are not oriented towards the benefit, so that fund management requires both moral and rational responsibility. Although there are still various obstacles in its implementation, this finding confirms that the application of Qur'anic values can strengthen financial management practices so that they are more professional and support the improvement of the quality of education as a whole. Therefore, this research serves as an important reference for Islamic school managers in optimizing financial practices to be more structured, sustainable, and able to create an educational environment that is trustworthy, productive, inclusive, and oriented towards the success of students and the wider community.

Abstract

Pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis potensi lokal menjadi salah satu strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat yang efektif, terutama di desa dengan keterbatasan akses ekonomi seperti Desa Karangpatihan, Ponorogo. Namun, kurangnya keterampilan dalam pengolahan produk berbasis bahan alami masih menjadi kendala bagi masyarakat dalam menciptakan peluang usaha yang berkelanjutan. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan teh herbal bunga telang sebagai produk ekonomi kreatif. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah menganalisis proses pelatihan, mengidentifikasi tantangan dan faktor pendukung dalam implementasinya, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dan dampaknya terhadap pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi workshop dan seminar yang mengajarkan aspek teknis produksi serta strategi pemasaran produk. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan peserta, baik dalam teknik pengolahan maupun pemasaran produk. Beberapa peserta mulai mengembangkan usaha berbasis teh herbal bunga telang, yang berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi kreatif di desa. Dengan adanya dukungan berkelanjutan, program ini memiliki potensi menjadi model pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis komunitas yang dapat direplikasi di daerah lain.
