Abstract

This study aims to see or find out 1) the phenomenon of income inequality during 5 years of observation in the Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province, 2) Human Development Index in Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province, 3) The Impact of Income Inequality on the Human Development Index in Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province, The type of research used is associative research. This research was conducted using the object of research in districts / cities in West Sumatra province consisting of 19 districts / cities in Sumatra Bara province. Research data used during the period 2017-2021 with 90 samples. The results showed that: 1) Income Inequality has a negative and significant impact on the Human Development Index in the Districts / Municipalities of West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) and Blended Learning models are learning models that both improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Learning Model on the learning outcomes of students in Class 2022 A of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat, to analyze the effect of the Blended Learning Model on the learning outcomes of students in Class 2022 B of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat, and to see the difference in the effect of the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Learning Model with the Blended Learning Model on the learning outcomes of students in Class 2022 of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat. The method in this study uses the Quasy Experiment method, with the population being 108 batch students with the sample being batch 2022 A and 2022 B with a total of 50 people. The hypothesis test used is using factorial analysis which is modified by a different test. From the results of the study obtained the results that: there is an effect of the Contextual Teaching And Learning Model (CTL) on the learning outcomes of students in Class 2022 A of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI West Sumatra, there is an effect of the Blended Learning Model on the learning outcomes of students in Class 2022 B of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI West Sumatra, and there is a difference in the effect of the Contextual Teaching And Learning Model (CTL) with the Blended Learning Model on the learning outcomes of students in Class 2022 of the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perilaku belajar,  lingkungan sekolah, peran orang tua, kecerdasan emosional, mentalitas pembangunan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 5 Padang secara parsial dan simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Padang yang terdaftar pada tahun 2023-2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : Pertama perilaku belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Kedua lingkungan sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Ketiga peran orang tua  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Keempat kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi. Kelima mentalitas pembangunan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. keenam terdapat pengaruh perilaku belajar, lingkungan sekolah, peran orang tua, kecerdasan emosiona, mentalitas pembangunan secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau menawarkan layanan akademik online, terutama di Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi (FST). FST menyediakan Direktori Akademik FST, yang memberikan dukungan administratif dan teknis untuk aktivitas akademik FST.Dalam era internet saat ini, situs web akademik yang mudah digunakan dan mudah digunakan sangat penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi siswa dan membantu mereka mengatur informasi mereka sendiri.  Dengan menggunakan website ini, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari siswa FST yang aktif. Sebanyak 70 siswa diminta mengisi kuesioner SUS yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan dengan skala Likert 5 poin. Data yang dikumpulkan diperiksa untuk menghitung skor SUS secara keseluruhan dan untuk menemukan elemen khusus website yang membutuhkan perbaikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website Direktori Akademik FST menerima skor SUS rata-rata 82, yang masuk dalam kategori "excellent" (accepted). Studi ini menemukan bahwa meskipun situs web Direktori Akademik FST memenuhi kebutuhan dasar pengguna, masih ada ruang untuk peningkatan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Rekomendasi perbaikan termasuk membuat antarmuka pengguna lebih mudah digunakan, meningkatkan kecepatan akses, dan menyediakan tutorial penggunaan yang lebih lengkap. Perbaikan ini diharapkan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas situs web.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginformasikan kepada para pembaca bahwa media sosial bukan sebagai media hiburan saja, tetapi mampu sebagai media edukasi dan aktivisme dalam dunia yang sudah terglobalisasi dari cara tradisional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan cara yaitu pengukuran kepuasan pengguna secara statistik yang mengacu pada jawaban angket penelitian yang diisi oleh remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata tanggapan remaja terhadap interaksi sosial adalah 67,1% dalam kategori setuju. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media sosial sangat berpengaruh terhadap interaksi sosial. Data lain mengungkapkan bahwa 98,1 % remaja menggunakan aplikasi Instagram dan 92,1% remaja menggunakan aplikasi TikTok.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects of tourist involvement and service quality on the loyalty of historical tourism visitors in Batam City, with shared value creation as a mediating variable. The study was motivated by the low interest in historical tourism despite Batam’s potential historical attractions, such as Kampung Vietnam and the Raja Ali Haji Museum. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The sample consisted of 120 respondents obtained through online questionnaires distributed to tourists who had visited historical tourism sites in Batam. The results indicate that tourist involvement and service quality have significant positive effects on shared value creation, which in turn has a positive impact on visitor loyalty. Furthermore, shared value creation mediates the relationship between tourist involvement and service quality on loyalty. These findings suggest that enhancing service quality and encouraging tourist involvement are essential strategies for building loyalty in historical tourism destinations.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is the intentional delay of academic tasks or responsibilities until deadlines draw near, even when individuals are aware of the negative consequences of such postponement. For final-year university students working on their thesis, high academic pressure often triggers avoidance behaviors through leisure activities, one of which is binge-watching. This study examines the relationship between binge-watching habits and academic procrastination among university students. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a relationship between binge-watching activities and the level of academic procrastination. The participants in this study were final-year students who were actively working on their thesis at universities located in the Jakarta area. The research used a non-experimental correlational design. A total of 100 students from various universities in Jakarta were recruited using purposive sampling. The instruments used were the Binge-Watching Engagement Scale Questionnaire (BWESQ) and the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS). Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 25.0. The results of the Pearson Product-Moment correlation analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.086 with a significance value of 0.393 (p > 0.05). This indicates that there is no significant relationship between binge-watching and academic procrastination among final-year university students.
