Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 requires teachers to possess digital skills not merely as a complement but as a fundamental prerequisite for creating innovative, effective, and student-centered learning. This study aims to analyze the role of digital skills in improving teachers’ competencies at SDN Belo and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors they encounter. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with five purposively selected teachers as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal that teachers have begun to adopt digital skills, albeit in relatively simple forms such as using PowerPoint, YouTube, and communication applications. The utilization of technology has been proven to enhance teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and teachers’ confidence. Nevertheless, limited ICT facilities, insufficient practical training, and disparities in digital literacy remain the main obstacles. These findings emphasize the importance of providing practical training, strengthening digital literacy, and improving infrastructure support from the government and educational institutions. Therefore, digital skills play a strategic role in fostering the professionalism of SDN Belo teachers in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reading interest of students in grade III of elementary school. This type of research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were grade III students and their homeroom teachers. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the reading interest of students in grade III is good. This is evidenced by the results of the questionnaire for grade III with a total of 15 students. Only 9 students received the highest score, meaning they have a good reading interest. 4 students received a moderate score, meaning they have a fairly good reading interest. 2 students received the lowest score, meaning they have a low reading interest. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire obtained from students. From the results of the interview, it was found that teachers always get students used to reading before studying for 15 minutes and that there are supporting factors in increasing students' reading interest, namely: reading 15 minutes before learning and intensive teacher guidance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan empati siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-methods dengan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dua siklus yang melibatkan 20 siswa kelas IV SDN Inpres Rato sebagai subjek. Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui tes pemecahan masalah matematika dan angket empati, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, serta wawancara guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dari skor rata-rata 63,10 pada pretest menjadi 85,40 pada posttest siklus II (p 0,05; N-Gain = 0,60). Indikator tertinggi peningkatannya terdapat pada kemampuan memilih solusi berdasarkan nilai matematika (+38%). Peningkatan empati siswa juga signifikan, dengan skor total meningkat sebesar 22,7% (p 0,05; Cohen’s d = 0,87). Secara kualitatif, data menunjukkan transformasi perilaku matematika siswa melalui tiga proses utama: kolaborasi, pengalaman matematika langsung, dan refleksi moral. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran empatik yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan kesadaran emosional siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan strategi inovatif berbasis proyek matematika efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematika, kesadaran moral, dan empati siswa di sekolah dasar untuk mengadopsi pendekatan pembelajaran yang menumbuhkan karakter matematika-emosional anak sejak dini.

Abstract

Exploration of Matthematical Symbol and Word Mastery on Mathematics Teacher. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to explore the mastery of symbols and mathematical words in teachers. The subjects in this study were five mathematics teachers ini Lambitu District, Bima. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and interviews. Observations were made to observe the mastery of symbols and mathematical words when the teacher carried out the learning process. Interviews were conducted to obtain data on the factors that influence the mastery of symbols and mathematical words for teachers. Data analysis technique used are data reduction, data presentation, and make conclusions. The results showed that the overall mastery of symbols and mathematical words for teachers were good. There are only a few mistakes or errors that teachers make in the use of symbols and mathematical words. These mistakes or errors are caused by misconceptions and inaccuracies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze conceptual and procedural errors in solving mathematical problems. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to explore mathematical misconceptions in students and their views on the misconceptions they experience. The misconceptions in this study were obtained from the results of tests and interviews. Misconceptions are most common in geometric materials, but they are not significantly different from other materials. Students still have difficulty due to lack of conceptual understanding of the problem or difficulty connecting mathematical concepts. The type of misconception that is most often experienced by students is confusion because they do not master the supporting concepts. The misconception that is most rarely experienced by students is the wrong classification of concept examples

Abstract

Urgensi dilakukan program Pemberdayaan Berbasis Masyarakat (PBM) pada Kelompok Pengrajin Tenun Anggrek Desa Ranggo sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi kain tenun Muna Pa’a yang berkelanjutan. Teknologi yang digunakan berupa Pewarnaan Alam. Penerapan teknologi pewarna alam sebagai penunjang pembangunan berkelanjutan. Tujuan program ini adalah menerapkan teknologi peawarna alam dalam menunjang pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kelompok pengrajin Muna Pa’a melakukan produksi kain tenun Muna Pa’a menggunakan pewarna alam. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan diawali dengan kegiatan sosialisasi program kepada mitra. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pelatihan pembuatan pewarna alam di antaranya persiapan alat dan bahan pembuatan pewarna alam, mengumpulkan bahan pewarna alam, penyiapan benang, penyiapan alat memasak. Tahap terakhir adalah pembuatan produk kain tenun menggunakan pewarna alam. Hasil yang diperoleh pada kegiatan ini adalah produk kain tenun muna pa’a yang dihasilkan menggunakan teknologi pewarna alam memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan pewarna sintetis. Penggunaan pewarna alam pada produksi kain tenun muna pa’a dapat meningkatan jumlah kualitas kain tenun dan produksi mencapai 100% dan meningkatkan nilai jual produk kain tenun mencapai 95%. Produksi kain tenun muna pa’a. Di samping itu, produk kain tenun muna pa’a yang dihasilkan lebih menghasilkan warna yang lebih eksotis, elegan dan juga ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pemahaman guru tentang simbol matematika dan kosa kata. Subyek penelitian ini adalah lima orang guru SMP di Kecamatan Lambitu Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggali penguasaan simbol dan kosa kata matematika pada guru. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang guru matematika di Kecamatan Lambitu Kabupaten Bima. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Secara keseluruhan, kelima guru yang diteliti memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang berbagai simbol matematika dan kosa kata yang mereka gunakan dalam pembelajaran. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa kesalahan dalam memahami simbol dan kosa kata matematika. Secara keseluruhan penguasaan simbol dan kosa kata matematika pada guru cukup baik. Kesalahan atau kelalaian ini disebabkan oleh kesalahpahaman dan ketidakakuratan

Abstract

Students with the ability to think creatively mathematically will receive more attention inside and outside the classroom, but the mathematics learning results obtained by students show unsatisfactory results, especially in solving problems. The objectives of this research are: 1) evaluating students' creative thinking abilities, 2) analyzing factors that inhibit students' creative thinking abilities. This research uses a qualitative type of research using the CIPP approach. The subject of this research was carried out in fifth grade elementary school with sub-subject material regarding fraction calculation operations. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and test questions. Data validation uses triangulation of sources and methods, with data analysis techniques using 4 research stages from Miles and Hubeman. The results are: 1) evaluation of creative thinking abilities on fluency indicators obtained as a percentage79.04%, flexibility obtained 64.44%, novelty obtained 63.33%, and detail 79.00%, these results show that students are creative in the learning process, not in problem solving activities in questions; 2) the causal factors are low understanding regarding the concept of multiplication calculation operations on fractions with different denominators, highshyness in conveying ideas, lack of practice and involvement in the learning process. In conclusion: the results of the KBK evaluation show that there is a tendency for learning activities to always focus on the teacher, students are more inclined to understand questions based on the example questions that are indicated, the concept of arithmetic operations is not mastered, understanding of the questions is lacking, and they tend to focus on obtaining learning outcomes rather than on the process learning.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the difficulties faced by fourth-grade students in solving mathematical problem-solving tasks based on Polya’s stages: understanding the problem, planning a strategy, implementing the plan, and evaluating the results. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with four fourth-grade students at SDN Lido, Bima Regency, as subjects. Data were collected through observation, written tests, and interviews with the teacher. The findings indicate that students struggle at each stage of problem-solving, particularly in understanding the problem and selecting appropriate strategies. Factors such as lack of conceptual understanding, accuracy in calculations, and limited habit of evaluating answers contribute to these difficulties. These findings suggest the need for a more structured instructional approach and a supportive learning environment to enhance students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Effective mathematics learning requires methods and media that are engaging for students. The use of digital media, such as wordwall can increase student engagement in understanding multiplication concepts, especially in a bilingual learning environment. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of bilingual mathematics learning on multiplication material at SD Negeri 27, Sorong City, by utilizing wordwall game media. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach through a pre-test and post-test involving 23 third-grade students. The results showed an increase in the average student score from 64.35 in the pre-test to 83.26 in the post-test, with an N-Gain value of 0.6036, which is classified as a moderate increase. In addition to improving the understanding of multiplication concepts, the use of wordwall also motivates students to be more active in the learning process. The bilingual approach that combines Indonesian and English also provides benefits in developing students' language skills. Thus, it is concluded that Wordwall media is effective in improving learning outcomes, creating an interactive and interesting learning atmosphere, and supporting the improvement of the quality of mathematics learning at the elementary school level.
