Abstract

A common problem encountered in the development of the art of tarling is the negative understanding of the majority of people about tarling itself. Tarling is currently experiencing difficulties in returning to be the belle of art in Cirebon society. As the development of tarling is used for the entertainment side and little by little reduces the value of tarling itself. This has become a fundamental problem for people who consider the art of tarling to be a mere art without any significant value. The purpose of this study was intended to find out more about character education in the function and value of the cirebonan tarling art. This research method uses descriptive qualitative exposure with ethnographic research design to find out more about character education in the function and value of the tarling itself, as well as using literature study data collection techniques related to Tarling arts and music, as well as interviews with informants. In general, tarling music can be divided into two forms: classical tarling music and modern Cirebon rhythm tarling music. Modern tarling experiences the absorption of various types of music, including pop and dangdut. Little by little in modern tarling puts forward the entertainment and material aspects and little by little reduces the value and function of the art of tarling itself. Whereas classical tarling music still has strong functions and values in instilling character education in every element of the performance of the tarling itself in each of its elements

Abstract

This research was prompted by students' lack of interest and motivation in writing news texts, their limited ability to compose such texts, an unsupportive learning environment, the use of less diverse teaching methods, and students' struggles to generate ideas and structure sentences into news texts. The research objectives include assessing the effectiveness of project-based learning in teaching news text writing to eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Kedokan Bunder and evaluating student engagement in the learning process using this model. The research employed an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design (nonequivalent control group design). Statistical analysis, using an independent samples t-test, yielded a t-value of 4.313, which exceeded the t-table value of 1.669, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the project-based learning model in teaching news text writing to eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Kedokan Bunder. Additionally, observations in the experimental class revealed that students actively and effectively participated in the teaching and learning process using this model.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the use of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on the learning outcomes of procedural text writing among 11th-grade students in Multimedia 3 at SMK PUI Gegesik for the academic year 2022/2023. The hypothesis, in this case, H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it demonstrates the effectiveness of teaching procedural text writing using the CIRC method among the students at SMK PUI Gegesik for the academic year 2022/2023. The study employed an experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection included tests and observations of both teachers and students during the procedural text writing lessons, which were utilized to determine the effectiveness and engagement of the CIRC method. Based on observational data, it was evident that students were more active and their procedural text writing skills improved compared to their previous performance when using the CIRC method. The analyzed test results showed that the average learning outcomes for the control group were 66.8, while for the experimental group using the CIRC method, it was 82.6. The t-value was 6.044, and the t-table value was 1.677. Consequently, the t-value (6.044) exceeded the t-table value (1.677), leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. This indicates the effectiveness of teaching procedural text writing to 11th-grade students in Multimedia 3 using the CIRC method at SMK PUI Gegesik for the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

This study aims to delineate the language styles present in Andrea Hirata's novel "Orang-Orang Biasa" and ascertain its applicability as teaching material for historical story texts in Indonesian language learning. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the research analyzes the novel to discern the form and meaning of language styles within it. The data source is the novel itself, and data collection involves library research, reading techniques, and note-taking. The note technique records the analysis results of the novel. The research unfolds in three stages: planning, implementation, and data reporting. The novel exhibits various language styles, categorized as: 1) comparison styles, encompassing simile, personification, metaphor, pleonasm, periphrasis, antithesis, prolepsis; 2) opposition styles, including hyperbole, irony, litotes, oxymoron, zeugma, innuendo, satire, paradox, climax, anticlimax, hypocrisy, cynicism, and sarcasm; 3) linking styles, consisting of metonymy, synecdoche, euphemism, allusion, eponymy, epithet, antonomasia, ellipsis, asyndeton, and polysyndeton; and 4) repetition styles, such as alliteration, assonance, chiasmus, epizeuxis, anaphora, epistrophe, mesodiplosis, epanalepsis, and anadiplosis. These language styles contribute to the novel's aesthetic appeal, imparting an artistic and dramatic essence. The findings are applicable to Indonesian language learning in SMA class XII semester 2, particularly in historical story text materials covering language styles within basic competency 3.4 (analyzing the language of historical stories or novels) and basic competency 4.4 (writing personal historical stories with attention to language). The teaching materials developed for this study utilize a modular approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning to write poetry using short film media Kinetik by Putri Tanjung in class X SMK PUI Gegesik. This type of research is Experimental Research using Quasi experimental design. The population in this study was class X SMK PUI Gegesik. The sample in this study were students of class X DKV 1 as an experimental class consisting of 32 students and class X DKV 3 as a control class consisting of 32 students. Data collected by written test technique, namely pre-test and post-test. It was shown that media of kinetic short film is used effectively in learning to write free poetry because of the significant difference between the control class and the experimental class; namely, learners who used Kinetic short film media with those who did not use it. It can be seen based on the t-test results of the Pre-test and post-test scores in the control class and experimental class conducted with the help of the SPSS program. The result of statistical calculation using t test of two independent samples (independent sample t test). The obtained statistic is 4.075, with t table: 1.670. Thus, t statistic > t table (4.075 > 1.670).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine if the learning together model is effective in teaching class X students of SMK N 1 Balongan how to write observation report texts, and to understand the process involved. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The researcher chose the Quasi Experimental Design as the experimental method. The sampling technique used was Probability Sampling, resulting in X TITL 1 as the experimental class and X TITL 2 as the control class, with a total of 35 students in each class. The data collection techniques included observation and tests. The research instruments used were interviews, tests, observations, lesson plans, and assessment sheets. The data analysis involved pretest and posttest comparisons, as well as observation results analyzed using SPSS 24. Based on the findings described in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that learning to write observation report texts using the learning together model is effective for class X students of SMK N 1 Balongan. The t-value obtained from the Coefficients table is 4.421, while the t-table value with a significance level of 0.001 is 1.668. The comparison between the two values shows that t-value > t-table (4.421 > 1.668), indicating that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a positive and significant relationship between the application of the cooperative learning together model in teaching class X students how to write observation report texts at SMK N 1 Balongan.

Abstract

Desa Cibuntu (Cibuntu Village) is a tourism-based village located at the foot of Mount Ciremai, Pasawahan District, Kuningan, West Java. The village is located approximately 20 KM from the center of Kuningan City. Cibuntu Village has a variety of uniqueness that is owned both in nature, culture and history. Cibuntu Village is declared as a Tourism Village as stipulated in the Decree of the Head of the Kuningan District Tourism and Culture Office Number 55631 / KPTS.178.A Disparbud / 2012 concerning the designation of Cibuntu Village as an Object and Attraction (Tourism Village). Guiding tours become very important because they are part of the service. Lack of communication skills and mastery of English become the main obstacle in guiding tourism activities in the Cibuntu Tourism Village. The people who are assigned as guides seem to only have capital, so the delivery of information is not packaged properly to tourists. Referring to these conditions, then the solution is coaching and mentoring in an effort to improve the ability to guide tours through a series of training. The training will be classified into two categories, namely tour guides and English training for tour guides. The methods to be used include lectures, questions and answers, discussions. To improve the ability to guide in English will focus on drilling models and role play. As targets to be achieved are (a) increasing the ability of understanding the role of the tour guide, (b) increasing the ability of the community in the tour guide, (c) increasing the ability of English in guiding activities especially when guiding foreign tourists, (d) increasing communication skills when guide the tour. To achieve these targets the activity implementation team will work together with the association of Indonesian tour guides and professional guides.

Abstract

The context for this research is a paucity of initiatives that support tourism marketing, particularly the establishment of innovative tourist communities in Bandung. The goal of this research is to make recommendations to the Bandung City Government, specifically the Disbudpar, for creating tourism marketing strategies, particularly in the Binong Rajut Creative Village. Binong Knitting Tourism Village has significant potential as a creative tourism destination. According to the SWOT analysis, this town is in a strategic position to adopt an aggressive expansion strategy that includes leveraging its strengths in implementing Sapta Pesona, diversifying tourist packages, and providing enough amenity facilities. However, shortcomings in HR and integrated marketing competencies must be rectified. Strategy recommendations include maximizing social media advertising, enhancing the quality and quantity of tourism products, and working with the government, tourism sector stakeholders, communities, and academia to promote innovation and competitiveness. Better management can be achieved through training, seminars, and conversations that create collaborative networks and enhance HR competency. With a planned approach and stakeholder participation, the Binong Knitting Tourism Village may grow its attractiveness as a tourist attraction, benefit the local economy, and conserve local culture. Implementing this plan will promote long-term growth and community welfare in the tourism industry, establishing the Binong Rajut Tourism Village as a successful model for community-based tourism development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; Bagaimana Konsep Wali Adhol Dalam Pernikahan dan dasar hukumnya dalam pernikahan dan Bagaimana Prosedur penetapan wali Adhol dalam Hukum Islam dan KHI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menggunakan metode Conten Analysis. Adapun sumber primer yaitu Al-Umm, Bidayatul Mujtahid, al-Fiqih Alal Mazahib al-Arba’ah, Hukum Pernikahan Menurut Islam, UU Pernikahan dan Hukum Perdata, UU Kompilasi Hukum Islam No 13 Tahun 2008. Sedangkan sumber sekundernya buku-buku yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analis yang penulis lakukan, dapat di simpulkan bahwa: 1) Konsep Wali Adhol dan dasar hukumnya dalam pernikahan Hukum Islam adalah sebagai berikut: a) Golongan hanafiah menyatakan bahwa penyelesaian pernikahan jika walinya adhol adalah melalui seorang hakim sebagai penengah; b) Sedangkan Syafiiyah dan Malikiyah menyatakan bila wali adhal untuk menikahkan anaknya, dalam hal ini wali Aqrabnya, dan mana kala wali ab’ad tidak bisa menggantikannya, maka hak kewaliannya diserahkan kepada wali Hakim; c) Dan hambaliyah menyatakan bila seorang wali adhal dalam menikahkan anaknya maka hak kewalianya akan berpindah dari wali aqrab ke wali ab’ad sampai yang paling jauh, jika masih tetap adhol maka hak kewaliannya diserahkan kepada hakim; 2) Prosedur penetapan wali Adhol dalam Hukum Islam dan KHI, dalam undang-undang no. 1/1974, KHI dan PMA No .30 tahun 2005 yaitu: Pertama, pemanggilan pihak-pihak, yaitu pemohon dan wali, Kedua, usaha perdamaian, Ketiga, pembacaan surat permohonan, Keempat, pemeriksaan persidangan, Kelima, pembacaan hasil penetapan majelis hakim.

Abstract

Pengembangan sistem informasi menjadi salah satu prioritas utama dalam mendukung Transformasi Digital yang semakin pesat di era modern. Dalam konteks ini, Metode Agile telah menarik perhatian luas sebagai pendekatan Manajemen Proyek yang mampu menangani tantangan unik pengembangan Sistem Informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Metode Agile dalam Manajemen Proyek, dengan fokus pada keunggulan seperti Fleksibilitas, kolaborasi, dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna. Melalui studi kepustakaan, analisis mendalam dilakukan terhadap literatur yang membahas penerapan Agile, yang mencakup manfaat Iterasi Pendek untuk evaluasi berkelanjutan, perbaikan kualitas komunikasi, dan peningkatan responsivitas terhadap perubahan. Agile juga mendorong keterlibatan aktif pemangku kepentingan, yang berdampak signifikan pada keberhasilan proyek dan Kepuasan Pengguna.Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga menyoroti berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti kebutuhan akan komitmen tinggi dari tim, kesiapan budaya organisasi untuk berubah, dan risiko terkait keamanan data serta alokasi anggaran yang sering kali terganggu akibat perubahan yang tidak terduga. Di sisi lain, manfaat Agile seperti peningkatan kualitas produk, transparansi proses, dan efisiensi manajemen waktu menunjukkan bahwa metode ini relevan dan efektif, terutama dalam lingkungan proyek yang dinamis. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar organisasi memberikan perhatian khusus pada pengembangan keterampilan tim melalui pelatihan intensif dan penerapan manajemen risiko adaptif. Dengan strategi yang terencana, Agile dapat menjadi solusi optimal untuk mendukung keberhasilan proyek Sistem Informasi, menciptakan produk berkualitas tinggi, dan memenuhi ekspektasi pengguna di era Transformasi Digital
