Abstract

Dosen adalah salah satu komponen penting didalam suatu sistem pendidikan perguruan tinggi , Karena fungsi seorang dosen sangat penting, maka pemerintah menetapkan mengenai jabatan fungsional dosen dan angka kreditnya yang disebut jabatan akademik. Untuk menentukan angka kredit terdapat beberapa unsur Tri Dharma yang meliputi Pengajaran, Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat. Jabatan fungsional dosen dibuat sebagai tanda penghargaan, pengakuan dan kepercayaan atas kinerja, integritas dan tanggung jawab dosen. Namun permasalahan timbul ketika dosen yang akan mengurus jenjang jabatan akademik terhambat oleh masalah administrasi. Peneliti memilih STMIK Widuri sebagai obyek penelitian karena hingga saat ini STMIK Widuri tidak memiliki pengarsipan yang baik untuk dokumen para dosennya ketika akan mengurus jenjang jabatan akademik, tidak adanya kejelasan untuk jalur karir dosen, informasi mengenai jenjang jabatan akademik tidak disosialisasikan secara baik, sehingga pemahaman mengenai pentingnya jenjang jabatan akademik tidak ketahui oleh semua dosen, tingginya tingkat ketidakhadiran dosen dalam perkuliahan, dosen sering keluar masuk atau turn over yang berpengaruh kepada akuntabilitas perguruan tinggi. Untuk memecahkan permasalah diatas, peneliti melakukan tinjauan pustaka, pengumpulan data yang meliputi wawancara, observasi, analisis data dengan menggunakan RUP (Rational Unified Process), merancang model, membangun prototype dan pengujian dilakukan dengan cara metode user acceptance test. Dan hasil yang diharapkan dari sistem ini adalah mengatasi permasalahan mengenai kinerja dosen untuk jenjang jabatan akademik di STMIK Widuri.

Abstract

The problem of selecting the "Best Agent" is still done manually, by giving a value to the form that contains the assessment criteria and the sum of the values of each criterion that is averaged so that the final result is obtained. The purpose of this study is to discuss and build systems and models for making decisions to determine the "Best Agent" using the Profile Matching method. Application Decision Support System Selection "Best Agent" Profile Matching method an application designed to provide accurate decisions based on current data and can be accounted for, this is expected to improve the quality of staff and the expectations it builds to improve the quality of Human Resources.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) plays an important role for the sustainability of higher education therefore xyz universities in conducting the process of selection of employees requires a truly competent employee in their respective fields. The problem in this study is that the selection process of employees is still subjective not based on pure test results and there is no proper method in employee acceptance. The purpose of this research is to get the right staff according to the needs of the college. There are five criteria that will be used in this study are education, work experience, psychotest scores, age, and interview scores. The data collection methods used in this study are interviews, library studies, and observations. The research methods used are the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) and for the calculation of mpe methods using the python programming language. The result of this study is that mpe method can be applied to determine the admission of employees at xyz college.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design a website-based employee attendance system at SMP Santo Leo as a solution to the weaknesses of the manual attendance system which is prone to recording errors, data loss, and inefficiencies in recapitulation and attendance monitoring. The design method uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach to systematically visualize system needs and workflows. The system developed has the main features in the form of recording attendance in and out of the house, applying for permits, and making automatic attendance reports. The system test is carried out using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method based on five aspects: functionality, ease of use, suitability, system performance, and interface display. The test results show that the user satisfaction rate is in the range of 85% to 92%, which is categorized as "Excellent". The evaluation concluded that the system was in accordance with the design, ran stable, was easy to use without special training, and was able to improve efficiency and accuracy in employee attendance management. This system is declared feasible to be implemented operationally within the Santo Leo Junior High School environment and has the potential to support managerial decision-making based on attendance data. The study also recommends further development through integration with payroll systems and automated notification features to improve the functionality and usability of the system.

Abstract

In the school environment, determining outstanding students holds significant importance. High academic achievement among students and a low failure rate reflect the overall quality of education. Based on the interviews, it is known that the assessment process for outstanding students at school still needs to be revised, and the current decision-making system needs to consider other factors, resulting in suboptimal selection processes. To address this issue, implementing a Decision Support System (DSS) is necessary to assist the school in selecting the best students. DSS is an interactive system providing access to data and modelling information, designed to support decision-making in both structured and unstructured situations. This DSS will be designed using the Technique for Order of Preferences by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) as the alternative ranking method. The final results indicate that using the TOPSIS method in this decision support system can improve efficiency and accuracy in selecting outstanding students in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance and user experience of the Gerindra Party’s official website using Web Usability Testing. A quantitative descriptive approach was adopted with 31 respondents, utilizing Likert-scale questionnaires and task-based observations. The evaluation covered five key aspects: effectiveness, efficiency, user satisfaction, readability, and security & reliability. Results showed good usability, with average scores ranging from 3.80 to 4.07 out of 5. Specifically, effectiveness scored 3.80, efficiency 3.92, satisfaction 4.07, readability 3.98, and security 4.01. However, issues such as non-intuitive navigation, slow loading speed, and inconsistent interface design were identified. These findings suggest that while the website meets usability standards, there is still room for improvement to enhance the overall user experience. Improvement recommendations include: (1) simplifying menu structures, (2) optimizing technical performance to improve speed, and (3) enhancing interface design consistency for better usability. The study’s findings provide a solid foundation for upgrading the website, making it a more effective digital political communication tool.

Abstract

The advancement of inFormation technology has encouraged many companies to switch to digital attendance systems to improve efficiency and Accuracy in employee attendance recording. However, PT. Gracia Jaya Makmur still uses a manual attendance system that relies on physical records through books or forms. This system is prone to recording errors, time-consuming recap processes, and lacks real-time attendance monitoring. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the manual attendance system at PT. Gracia Jaya Makmur using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method, which consists of five main dimensions: Content, Accuracy, Format, Timeliness, and Ease of Use. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach through surveys involving 24 employees as respondents. The results show that the average satisfaction scores across all EUCS dimensions range from 1.83 to 2.02, which fall into the “Poor” category. These findings indicate that the current manual attendance system fails to meet user expectations and requires evaluation and development toward a more effective and efficient technology-based system. This study provides practical contributions for the management of PT. Gracia Jaya Makmur to consider transitioning to a digital attendance system to enhance user satisfaction as well as work effectiveness and productivity.

Abstract

Bank xyz is the 12th Islamic commercial bank in Indonesia, has the determination to grow millions of Indonesians so that they have a good life according to the bank's slogan, namely To become the best sharia bank, for inclusive finance, changing the lives of millions of Indonesians. The problem in this research is that the process of monitoring and proposing initiatives still uses a manual process. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can meet the need for monitoring and proposing planning initiatives. The research method used is the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) and Strength Weakness Opportunities Treats (SWOT) approaches that integrate information systems and information technology (IS / IT). This study produces a blueprint plan of organizational information in the form of an enterprise architecture that can be used to support policy strategies in system development at xyz islamic bank.

Abstract

Limited access to information about Student Activity Unit (UKM) activities and achievements is often an obstacle for students, especially new students, to be actively involved in campus activities. This study aims to develop an UKM Information Application to provide an integrated platform that makes it easier for students at universities in North Jakarta to access UKM information. This application is designed using the Scrum method, with iterative stages that include user needs analysis, development of key features such as delivery of activity information, event notifications, and documentation of UKM achievements, and evaluation through sprint reviews. The use of this application is expected to increase information transparency, facilitate communication between members, and encourage student participation in UKM activities. The results of the study are in the form of a digital-based information application that can strengthen UKM management and communication effectively and efficiently, supporting the modernization of information systems in higher education.

Abstract

Attendance is one of the important activities in organizational management, especially in the fields of education and business. Until now, attendance systems are still mostly done manually with signatures or ID cards. However, these methods are prone to fraud, such as buddy punching or data manipulation. This study aims to develop a facial recognition-based attendance system on the Android platform using Regula Forensics Face SDK. Test results at thresholds of 70%, 85%, and 90% show that the 85% threshold provides the best compromise, with a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0% and a False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 14.3%. In conclusion, a facial recognition-based attendance system can be implemented on the Android platform using the Regula Forensics Face SDK. This technology has been proven to improve security and efficiency in Android attendance systems. In addition, this technology offers an accurate, fast, and secure biometric solution through flexible integration with Flutter. Despite technical and licensing limitations, this technology is still feasible for implementation in modern attendance systems.
