Abstract

Desa Tlogopranoto, Kabupaten Kebumen, merupakan daerah sentra cabai rawit yang memiliki kondisi lahan pasiran sehingga penguapan tinggi dan air mudah terserap. Hal pengairan menjadi tantangan dalam budidaya, mengingat cabai membutuhkan cukup air sedangkan irigasi tidak bertahan lama. Kondisi ini menuntut irigasi yang lebih intensif, yang selama ini mengandalkan listrik konvensional dengan biaya tinggi. Selain itu letaknya yang di pesisir menyebabkan sumber air cukup jauh. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini dan mendukung keberlanjutan produksi, program pengabdian masyarakat melalui KOSABANGSA dari Universitas Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen dan Universitas AKPRIND Indonesia memperkenalkan Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) berupa Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) atau solar cell untuk sistem irigasi sprinkle pada lahan cabai seluas satu hektar. PLTS ini mengurangi ketergantungan pada listrik konvensional, memudahkan budidaya dan mendukung praktik pertanian ramah lingkungan dengan mengandalkan energi terbarukan. Kegiatan ini mencakup peninjauan kondisi lapang, pemasangan PLTS, pemasangan sprinkle, sosialisasi perawatan PLTS, dan praktek irigasi. Materi lainnya yaitu mengenai efektivitas irigasi pada budidaya cabai lahan pasiran, sehingga didapatkan pengetahuan bagi anggota kelompok tani berupa manfaat adanya teknologi tepat guna dibandingkan cara budidaya sebelumnya. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas petani dalam mengelola teknologi irigasi dan budidaya modern, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas cabai dan pendapatan petani. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan PLTS sebagai solusi irigasi ini menjadi contoh nyata penerapan teknologi berkelanjutan di sektor pertanian, mendukung upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim dan pencapaian target Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Desa Tlogopragoto, Kebumen, merupakan kawasan produksi pertanian cabai yang memiliki potensi tinggi. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi petani di wilayah ini adalah ketergantungan pada energi konvensional dan proses pengairan. Proses pengairan masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan energi yang digunakan masih menggunakan listrik PLN. Proses penyiraman yang tradisonal ini berdampak pada proses penyiraman yang tidak merata dan memerlukan tenaga yang ekstra dalam proses penyiraman. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan dilakukan dengan menerapkan teknologi tepat guna pembangkit listrik tenaga surya yang digunakan untuk pompa air yang digunakan untuk proses penyiraman dengan sistem sprinkle. Kegiatan yang dilakukan merupakan rangkaian kegiatan Kosabangsa. Metodologi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi sosialisasi dan penerapan teknologi yang diawali dengan instalasi PLTS dan pemasangan sprinkle, serta pelatihan kepada petani terkait pemeliharaan dan manajemen teknologi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa PLTS mampu menyediakan energi yang memadai untuk sistem sprinkle, mengurangi ketergantungan pada listrik konvensional, dan menekan biaya operasional. Selain itu, program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan petani dalam menggunakan teknologi energi terbarukan, yang diharapkan akan menjadi langkah awal menuju kemandirian energi di sektor pertanian.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem klasifikasi gerakan semaphore berbasis computer vision dan machine learning yang mendukung pembelajaran visual secara mandiri. Sistem memanfaatkan MediaPipe Holistic untuk mendeteksi titik-titik landmark tubuh dan tangan, serta menggunakan algoritma Random Forest sebagai metode klasifikasi. Dataset dikumpulkan secara langsung dengan merekam gerakan semaphore huruf A hingga Z, kemudian digunakan untuk pelatihan dan pengujian model. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan performa model yang sangat tinggi, dengan akurasi, precision, recall, dan F1-score mendekati 100% pada kondisi pencahayaan optimal. Namun demikian, hasil ini masih perlu dikaji secara kritis karena keterbatasan variasi data dan perangkat keras, seperti kualitas kamera dan lingkungan pengambilan gambar. Sistem diuji secara real-time dan mampu mengenali pose secara akurat dalam kondisi terang, meskipun akurasi cenderung menurun dalam pencahayaan rendah. Penelitian ini memiliki potensi untuk mendukung pembelajaran semaphore dalam konteks pendidikan kepramukaan, pelatihan militer, maupun inklusi komunikasi visual. Untuk pengembangan ke depan, sistem ini dapat dikombinasikan dengan teknologi text-to-speech (TTS) atau Augmented Reality (AR) guna meningkatkan pengalaman pembelajaran.Kata kunci: MediaPipe Holisti; Random Forest; Semaphore; Computer Vision; Pembelajaran Visual Abstract - This study aims to develop a semaphore gesture classification system based on computer vision and machine learning to support self-directed visual learning. The system utilizes MediaPipe Holistic to detect body and hand landmarks and employs the Random Forest algorithm for classification. The dataset was collected through direct recordings of semaphore gestures from letters A to Z, then used for training and testing the model. Evaluation results show that the model achieved high performance, with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score approaching 100% under optimal lighting conditions. However, these results require critical interpretation due to limitations in data diversity and hardware quality, such as camera resolution and environmental conditions. The system was tested in real-time and demonstrated reliable pose recognition in bright environments, although performance decreased in low-light settings. This system shows potential to support semaphore learning in scout education, military training, and visual communication inclusion. Future development may include integration with text-to-speech (TTS) or augmented reality (AR) technologies to enhance the learning experience.Keywords: MediaPipe Holistic; Random Forest; Semaphore; Computer Vision; Visual Learning

Abstract

Dalam era modern, kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan machine learning, khususnya teknik machine learning, telah menjadi integral dalam perkembangan teknologi. Implementasi Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dalam klasifikasi gambar sering mengalami masalah overfitting, di mana model terlalu beradaptasi dengan data latih dan kurang mampu menggeneralisasi data uji. Untuk mencegah overfitting, penelitian ini menggunakan callback, seperti Early Stopping, Model Checkpointing, dan CSV Logging. Dataset gambar batu-kertas-gunting diperoleh dari Github Dicoding dan diproses dengan pembagian subset, augmentasi data, dan generator data. Model CNN dirancang dengan lapisan konvolusi, lapisan pooling, dan lapisan Dense. Optimizer, fungsi loss, dan metrik evaluasi dipilih sesuai tugas klasifikasi gambar. Melalui pelatihan model, akurasi meningkat dari 48.75% menjadi 98.75%, sementara loss menurun dari 0.9794 menjadi 0.0448. Evaluasi pada data validasi juga menunjukkan peningkatan konsisten. Pelatihan dihentikan pada epoch ke-18 setelah mencapai akurasi di atas 98%, untuk mencegah overfitting dan mengoptimalkan waktu pelatihan. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan callback efektif dalam mencegah overfitting dan meningkatkan akurasi model CNN dalam klasifikasi gambar batu-kertas-gunting. Ini menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas hasil akhir model.

Abstract

Kejawang Village faces a lack of English language skills and a shortage of competent teachers. One option for addressing this issue is through community service programs and the use of technology.This Independent Community Service Program (KKN) aimed to enhance the understanding of the young generation in Kejawang Village regarding the importance of digital literacy and English proficiency in the globalization era. The method used was an interactive seminar titled "AI & English: Keys to Success for the Future Generation," which was attended by 30 participants from among students and village youth. The seminar material covered a basic introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and motivation regarding the importance of English as a global skill. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' awareness of the role of AI in daily life and the importance of English for accessing global opportunities. Active participation was evident from the participants' enthusiasm during the Q&A and discussion sessions. The conclusion of this community service is that the seminar successfully served as an initial stimulus in shaping an adaptive, innovative, and competitive young generation. It is recommended that the village government and local educational institutions continue similar programs sustainably to optimize long-term impact

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has encouraged micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital marketing strategies in order to remain competitive. This study aims to develop a marketing website for the Syekh Hadroh MSME and to evaluate the quality of the developed system in terms of functionality and usability. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall model as the system development method. Functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique, while usability evaluation was performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 10 respondents. The results of Black Box testing indicate that all test scenarios were successfully executed with a success rate of 100%, demonstrating that the system functions according to the specified requirements. Furthermore, the SUS evaluation produced an average score of 73, which falls into the “good” usability category, indicating that the system is easy to use and well accepted by users. These results suggest that the developed marketing website is functionally reliable and usable, and therefore suitable for implementation as a digital marketing medium to support market expansion and improve service quality for MSMEs.

Abstract

Traditional markets remain central to community economic activity, yet many still rely on manual systems for managing retribution payments. At Dorowati Market in Kebumen, Indonesia, payment recording is conducted using paper-based control cards and receipts, leading to frequent data loss, reporting delays, and administrative inefficiencies. These challenges highlight the urgent need for a digital solution to streamline retribution management and improve service delivery. This study aims to develop a web-based information system for market retribution payment reporting to assist market officers in managing transactions, trader data, and financial reports more effectively. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Waterfall model, encompassing planning, modeling, construction, deployment, and maintenance stages. System modeling was conducted using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to visualize user interactions and database structure. The system was successfully implemented and evaluated by 30 respondents using a four-point Likert scale. The average score was 3.76, indicating a high level of user satisfaction. The highest-rated statement This system is suitable for broader implementation in other traditional market received a score of 3.90. These results demonstrate that the system enhances operational efficiency, reduces data errors, and supports transparent retribution management.

Abstract

This research was conducted at MTs Ma'arif NU 01 Susukan from November to December 2024 with the aim of evaluating the development of a website-based Syahriyah Madrasah Application. The type of research used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The focus of paper publication was on the evaluation stage. Research data was obtained through interviews with competent media experts in their fields, then analyzed using a Likert scale (Aurora & Effendi, 2019). The validity test of the development results refers to the criteria set by Hidayat et al. (2024) a percentage of 75.01%–100% is categorized as very valid, 50.01%–75% is quite valid, 25.01%–50% is invalid, and 0%–25% is very invalid. The results of the research evaluation showed that the developed application obtained an average SUS score of 63.25, which is in the fairly valid category. These findings indicate that the application is suitable for use in supporting the management of Syahriyah payments in madrasas, although further development is needed to improve quality, convenience, and user satisfaction. Evaluation of the results of the website-based Syahriyah Madrasah application can be an effective solution for increasing transparency and accuracy in school financial management.
