In the context of increasing global concern for environmental issues, beach cleaning activities at Tamendao Beach in Gorontalo have become very important as a response to the accumulation of plastic waste, which threatens the coastal environment and marine biota. This activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness, especially in coastal areas, and reduce plastic waste accumulation through cross-sector collaboration and active community participation. The methods used include initial surveys to evaluate the level of rubbish accumulation, planning cleanup strategies, resource mobilization, participant training, and beach cleanup activities involving sorting and processing rubbish. The results show success in collecting large amounts of plastic waste, increasing public environmental awareness, and showing the importance of cross-sector collaboration in maintaining a clean environment. In conclusion, this activity had a significant positive impact on the surrounding environment. It emphasized the need for a follow-up plan to ensure the sustainability of environmental conservation efforts at Tamendao Beach and the surrounding area.

Evaluasi dan Pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ideal menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografi di Kabupaten Boalemo. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Boalemo Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survey lapangan. Pengumpulan data primer diperoleh langsung dari lapangan seperti penggunaan lahan, kemiringan lereng, banjir, longsor, aksesbilitas, sempadan jalan dan jakauan pendidikan. Kemudian data sekunder diperoleh dari kepustakaan dengan melakukan studi seperti studi literatur/pustaka dan tinjauan media. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari lapangan bahwa lokasi Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ideal terdiri dari 8 sekolah dengan presentasi 100% dan lokasi pengembangannya berada di antara Desa Tangga Barito dan Tangga Jaya Kecamatan Dulupi. Hal ini sesuai dengan Permendiknas No. 24 tahun 2007 dan Permendiknas No. 40 tahun 2008.

Abstrak Sebaran Pengembangan Kaki Lima Dalam Perspektif Rencana Detail Tata Ruang Di Kecamatan Dungingi Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan untuk mengetahui persebaran lokasi pedang kaki lima dan kesesuaian kegiatan pemanfaatan ruang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survey, variabel yang digunakan pola ruang, jenis kegiatan, lokasi usaha, jenis bangunan, lebar jalan, drainase, trotoar, tempat penampungan sampah, ketentuan intensitas pemanfaatan ruang dan tata bangunan. Hasil penelitian dari aspek pola ruang bahwa kegiatan pedagang kaki lima pada Zona Perdagangan Dan Jasa Skla Wilayah Perencanaan sesuai dengan peruntukannya sedangkan ketentuan tata bangunan pedagang kaki lima tidak sesuai dengan yang telah ditetapkan berdasarkan Rencana Detai Tata Ruang Kota Gorontalo.Kata kunci: Sebaran, Kesesuaian pemanfaatan ruang, Pedagang kaki lima. Abstract Distribution of Street Vendors in Perspective of Detailed Spatial Planning in Dungingi Subdistrict, Gorontalo City. The research aims to determine the Distribution of Street Vendorse and the suitability of space utilization activities. the research applies a survey method, The variables used are space pattern, types of activity, businiess location, types of building, road width, drainage, side walk, trash bin, provision for the intensity of space utilization, and building design. The researcher from the aspect of space pettern, the activities of street vendors in the Trade and Service Zone of the Planning Regional Scale are allowed, while in regards to building design provision the street vendors are not in accordanse with the stipulation of Detailed Spatial Planning of Gorontalo City. Domestic water has an important role to meet the needs of human life. The need and use of water always increase which is directly proportional to population growth. Limboto Subdistrict has increased every year, causing an increase in population, development and also the need for water is increasing both domestic, agricultural and plantation water needs. For this reason, planning and conservation related to water resources, especially groundwater, is important to study. The formulation or purpose in this paper is to analyze the spatial distribution of domestic water demand in eight villages in Limboto District. The method used in this study is the direct interview method to determine the water needs of the community, domestic water needs are analyzed using the standard calculation method for domestic water needs based on SNI 9-6728.1.202. The results of this study indicate that Hunggaluwa Village and Hutuo Village are areas that have high domestic water needs (QDMI) with a total of 633,477 (L/person/day) and 589,985 (L/person/day) while areas that have domestic water needs (QDMI) very low, namely in Kayu Merah Village with a total of 115,980 (L/person/day).

The purpose of this study is to examine: 1) The effect of students' perception about geography learning process on students' interest in learning at SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo. 2) The effect of students' perception about geography learning process on students' learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo. This research is a type of research using a quatitative approach. The data collection method used is survey method. The subjects of this study were students of class XI and XII social studies of SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo in the academic year 2023/2024 totaling 80 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires for student perception variables and learning interests while documentation for learning outcomes variables. Prerequisite test analysis consists of normality test, homogeneity test and autocorrelation test. Hypothesis testing consists of simple linear regression test and coefficient of determination test. The research results obtained: 1) There is a significant influence between the variable of student perceptions of the learning process on the variable of student interest in learning at SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo, indicated by the calculation of significance obtained t value 6.186> t table 1.991 and Sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 2) There is a significant influence between the variable of students' perception of the learning process on the variable of students' interest in learning at SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo indicated by the calculation of significance obtained t value 2.456 > t table 1.991 and Sig value. 0.016 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between students' perceptions of the geography learning process on student interest and learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Gorontalo.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar menggunakan Web linktree materi Dinamika kependudukan di SMA Negeri I Biluhu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan R&D yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kriteria penilaian untuk mengetahui kelayakan media dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru geografi serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan angket. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil penelitian mengenai kualitas media pembelajaran serta saran untuk revisi produk. Hasil dari validasi dilakukan penilaian oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli pembelajaran. Media ini diujicobakan menggunakan skala terbatas dan skala general. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa ahli media mendapatkan nilai 78% dengan kriteria valid, data yang dikumpulkan pada ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 95% kriteria sangat valid, nilai yang didapatkan pada ahli pembelajaran dengan nilai 100%. Media diujicobakan pada skala terbatas dengan mendapatkan nilai 91,66% yaitu sangat valid, selanjutnya diujicobakan pada skala general mendapatkan nilai sebesar 94,92% sangat valid. Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Menggunakan Web Linktree pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi Dinamika Kependudukan di SMA Negeri I Biluhu layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar.

Problems related to learning outcomes are common challenges that are often experienced by many students throughout the educational process of students. Some of the main causes of this problem include low understanding of concepts, weak learning motivation, use of inappropriate learning strategies, ineffective time management, and pressure or stress. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Canva-based learning videos in improving the learning outcomes of class X-A students on the material of lithosphere dynamics at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa Timur. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model combined with Canva-based interactive video media, two learning cycles were carried out to measure the development of student learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis showed that in cycle I, the average student achievement score was 73.07% which was included in the good category. After corrective actions were taken in cycle II, there was a significant increase with an average score reaching 83.23%, which was included in the very good or optimal category. These findings indicate that the use of Canva-based video media has been proven to be able to provide a positive contribution to improving students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes in geography material, especially lithosphere dynamics.

Improving the quality of education requires significant advancements in various aspects, including curriculum development, learning innovation, and the provision of educational facilities and infrastructure. One approach that is believed to enhance the quality of learning is the use of digital-based media. The use of engaging learning media, such as digital magazines, is thought to increase students' interest and understanding of the subject matter, including Geography, which is often considered less engaging. However, the impact of using digital magazine-based learning media on students' learning outcomes in Geography has not been extensively explored, creating a gap that needs to be addressed. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of using digital magazine-based learning media on students' learning outcomes in Geography, employing an experimental method. The subjects of this research were students from classes X IIS 1 and X IIS 2. The results show that the use of digital magazine media significantly affects students' learning outcomes. Based on the t-test data analysis, a significant difference was found between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class, with the average improvement in the experimental class being 83.94, while the control class showed an improvement of only 76.97. The t-test revealed a t-value of 4.013, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.859 at the α = 5% significance level, thus the hypothesis is accepted. These findings suggest that using digital magazines can be an effective alternative to improve students' learning outcomes in Geography. This research opens up the possibility for the broader application of digital learning media across various subjects, contributing to the development of innovative teaching methods that are in line with current technological advancements

Kota Utara Subdistrict is the largest rice-producing area in Gorontalo City, particularly in Wongkaditi Barat and Dulomo Utara Subdistricts. However, farmers in this area face various socio-economic challenges that result in incomes that do not match their expenditures. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to examine the socioeconomic situation of farmers along with the elements that affect it Information was gathered via observation, interviews, and surveys from 60 farmers, then analyzed descriptively and spatially using ArcGIS tools. The results show that most farmers are of productive age, have low educational backgrounds, few dependents (husband, a wife, and no more than three children), and live in their own concrete houses. Economically, they cultivate small plots of land, have limited capital, and face high production costs, resulting in seasonal incomes generally below IDR 5,000,000. The sharecropping system further limits their earnings. Policy interventions such as capital assistance, access to agricultural technology, and stabilization of crop prices are needed.
