Abstract

This paper presents the challenges faced by the education system in Indonesia along with potential solutions. The aim of this paper is to discuss and elaborate on the educational issues that pose challenges to Indonesia’s education system and to provide effective solutions for improving the system to make it more inclusive, of higher quality, and aligned with societal needs and contemporary developments. The research method employed in this study is a literature review. The findings indicate that Indonesia’s education system faces several key challenges, including unequal access to education between urban and rural areas, variations in teaching quality, curriculum relevance to labor market needs, teacher welfare, and the management of education funding. Educational funding must be managed more efficiently and transparently to ensure equitable budget allocation and optimal use of resources.

Abstract

This This article discusses the application of futuristic learning to Islamic education. The aim is to find out the extent to which the futuristic learning model is implemented while maintaining the basic principles of Islamic education. This research uses a literature review approach from several book sources, journal articles and websites. The results of the research show that futuristic learning is applied proportionally, pays attention to all aspects of students and does not overdo the use of digital learning media, is able to bring a progressive mindset to students, is not left behind with the times, but is also not easily carried away by the current of the times and infected with addiction. digital. Abstract

This article discusses the role and application of psychology in Islamic education. The aim is to find out the extent of psychology's role in Islamic education, as well as its application in the Islamic education process. This research uses a literature review approach from several book sources, journal articles and websites. The research results show that psychology plays an active role as a means of bridging educators in knowing the character, attitudes, characteristics and habits of students, so that the learning process in education can run smoothly. All obstacles can be resolved precisely and quickly. Understanding the Islamic religion in a kaffah way is an important aspect that must be considered by all pillars of education, such as: school principals, educators, students, parents and all school residents. With a balance between Islamic religious knowledge, then combined with strengthening psychological knowledge, it will have various positive impacts on Islamic religious education it self.

Abstract

One of MAN 2 Karanganyar's efforts in helping students improve students' public speaking skills can be done at school through various forms of activities, one of which is speech or khitobah activities. This paper describes the relevance of khitobah activities to students' public speaking skills at MAN 2 Karanganyar. The purpose of this paper is to describe the khitobah activities at MAN 2 Karanganyar, the obstacles experienced and the supporting factors and their relevance to the public speaking skills of MAN 2 Karanganyar students. The data sources of this research are rohis members, students who have served and supervising teachers. The research methods used in this research are interviews and direct observation. The results of this study indicate that the positive impact felt by students who berkhitobah is their public speaking skills are increasing, namely their religious knowledge is increasing because students also indirectly while learning religion through khitobah dzuhur activities. Learners also learn to understand how the method and how to give a good speech or khitobah.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology due to globalization has led to digital transformation in several educational sectors, particularly in school administration. Using a literature review approach, this article aims to explore school administration management and the impact of digital transformation, as well as to identify the challenges faced and opportunities that can be leveraged to improve the quality of education. The research shows that school administration plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of schools. Digital transformation in school administration, such as the use of integrated information management systems, online learning platforms, and classroom management applications, can enhance transparency and data accuracy within schools. However, several challenges, including budget limitations, lack of technical skills, resistance to change, and data security issues, are still obstacles that need to be addressed. By understanding these aspects, educational institutions are expected to design effective strategies to integrate technology and capitalize on its potential for better educational management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the impact of using Smart TV digital media in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MAN 2 Karanganyar, to explore how Smart TV can improve students' engagement, material understanding, and discussion skills. In addition, this study aims to determine the extent to which the use of Smart TV can improve the overall quality of learning in the school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with triangulation techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation with the subjects of students, teachers, vice principal for curriculum, and principal of MAN 2 Karanganyar. The results of this study are Smart TV in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MAN 2 Karanganyar has a significant positive impact, increasing student involvement, facilitating understanding of complex material, and reducing boredom in conventional learning. Through learning with interactive media such as videos, animations, and presentations allows students to learn in a more interesting and varied way.

Abstract

This research focuses on the BTA class as an innovation of the PAI curriculum to eradicate the al-Qur’an letter blindness in MAN 2 Karanganyar. The BTA class program is in response to the search of PAI teachers against students and pupils who are not able or not smooth in reading the Qur'an so affecting their level of understanding in PAI subjects. This method of research uses qualitative descriptive research that explains what is happening in accordance with the facts on the field. Data collection techniques are done through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that the innovation of the PAI curriculum, i.e. the establishment of this BTA class, has a very positive impact on students. With this BTA class, students who are inadequate or unable to read the Qur'an can be helped especially in understanding religious subjects. The Quran is the most important part of the Qur'an. Another positive impact is that it can increase the level of confidence of students as graduates of the madrasah who are viewed by the community as people who are committed in the field of religion and of course in terms of reading the Qur'an.
