Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of brand image, program quality, and the personal selling capabilities of the sales and marketing team on the decision-making process of schools in purchasing programs from Mentari Group as a medium to support learning activities. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire, with a total sample of 153 respondents. The research findings indicate that the variables of Brand Image, Program Quality, and Personal Selling simultaneously have a significant effect on Decision-Making. Furthermore, on a partial basis, this study demonstrates that the Brand Image variable (X1) has a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that the Brand Image variable (X1) significantly influences Decision-Making (Y). The Program Quality variable (X2) has a significance value of 0.108 > 0.05, indicating that the Program Quality variable (X2) does not influence Decision-Making (Y). The Personal Selling variable (X3) has a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that the Personal Selling variable (X3) significantly influences Decision-Making (Y).

Abstract

K.H M. Hasyim Asy'ari is a scholar whose name is familiar in the archipelago. He is a scholar and at the same time a national hero because of his big role which was very influential in the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, progress and glory of the Islamic religion. The services he has rendered are enormous with great sacrifices. Among his great services was establishing the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School in Tebuireng (1899-1947). The establishment of this Islamic boarding school was one of the greatest achievements he had made. He founded the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School and began preaching for the benefit of the people. So what and what was his strategy in preaching to spread the religion of Islam? Therefore, this research was formulated and aims to find out how K.H Hasyim Asy'ari's preaching strategy was in spreading Islam in Tebuireng in 1899-1947. This research uses a historical research method which has four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this research show that in preaching, K.H Hasyim Asy'ari used various strategies, such as building Islamic boarding schools, preaching bil kalam wa risaleh, establishing the Nadhatul Ulama (NU) organization, and Jihad Resolution. Apart from that, he also carried out special methods in preaching to fight for Indonesian independence. K.H Hasyim Asy'ari's achievements not only have an impact on the benefit of religion, but also have a big impact on maintaining the independence of the Republic of Indonesia to this day.

Abstract

Learning to read and write the Qur'an is fundamental to Islamic religious education. However, existing teaching methods often need to be more effective in meeting diverse learners' needs. It encourages the development of adaptive modules that meet the needs of students, such as the An-Nawa module, which adapts the Iqra and Ummi methods. This study aims to create an adaptation of the An-Nawa Module of Iqra and Ummi and assess how well it works. The research methodology employs the ten-stage Borg and Gall research and development technique. The research and development study's findings indicate that the following principles developed the An-Nawa module: analysis of educational needs, gathering pertinent data, product design that takes students' needs into account, validation demonstrating the module's viability, design revision, testing, product revision, usage testing, product revision, as well as socialization and implementation. These phases are all essential to developing a module, which also involves implementation, assessment, and revision to guarantee the module's viability and efficacy in raising students' proficiency in reading and writing the Al-Qur'an. The suggestions are to do limited testing, involve experts in the development process, and revise the module continuously to raise its quality. To guarantee that the module positively influences students' abilities to read and write the Al-Qur'an, socialization, and module execution are equally crucial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Deep Learning pedagogy in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and learning engagement in eighth-grade mathematics classrooms. The study employed a qualitative case study design supported by descriptive quantitative data and was conducted in a public junior high school in North Jakarta. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and a 17-item Likert-scale questionnaire administered to students. The findings indicate that students generally responded positively to the implementation of Deep Learning, particularly in terms of interaction and collaboration, which fostered a more dialogic and supportive learning environment. Although improvements in conceptual understanding and learning motivation were observed, deeper conceptual restructuring requires stronger instructional scaffolding and metacognitive reflection. In conclusion, Deep Learning pedagogy has strong potential to support student-centered mathematics learning by promoting active engagement and meaningful understanding, provided that it is implemented systematically and sustainably.   Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Deep Learning, Learning Engagement, Mathematics Education, Students’ Perception

Abstract

The era of globalization is characterized by the advancement of science and technology (e.g., epitome). A problem that frequently arises amidst the development of science and technology is the moral crisis. Furthermore, there is a moral decline in various sectors, both in society and government. This moral problem, which has spread across various dimensions, is one of the topics that needs immediate attention and constitutes a serious concern that must be addressed and resolved immediately. The anticipated goal of this research is to analyze Ibn Khaldun's thought in finding solutions to the moral crisis in the era of globalization. This research is desk research. Through this research study, at least several important points have been reached. Ibn Khaldun's ideas can be used as a basis for analysis to provide solutions to confront the ethical crisis in the current era of globalization, provide new knowledge, and explain the roots of problems that occur in people's lives. This thinking not only enriches scientific knowledge but also offers and explores a study to answer the challenges of life today. In general, Ibn Khaldun's method of reasoning in proposing solutions to various societal problems is grounded in reality, leading to the emergence of new knowledge that can be directly addressed in addressing various societal problems, particularly those related to solutions to moral crises, and whose practical benefits can be tangibly demonstrated.

Abstract

This research investigates how social studies instruction based on local knowledge helps primary school pupils develop resilient character. Many primary school pupils participated in this research as respondents, which used a quantitative methodology. A questionnaire instrument to gauge students' knowledge of local wisdom and how Local wisdom-based learning impacts the development of resilient traits like self-reliance, self-discipline, and responsibility was used to gather data. Local wisdom-based social studies instruction and students' development of resilient character were shown to be strongly correlated. This study demonstrates how important it is to include local knowledge into the curriculum, particularly in social studies classes, to effectively train a generation to meet global issues without losing their cultural identity. This study makes a unique contribution by creating a character-based education paradigm based on resilient attitudes like self-control, bravery, diligence, and never giving up. Thus, the findings of this research may be used as a basis for creating educational policies that are more culturally appropriate and inclusive.

Abstract

Research objectives: This research aims to determine: 1) the relationship between student discipline and learning achievement in Civics subjects, 2) the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement in Civics subjects and 3) the relationship between student discipline and learning motivation and learning achievement in Civics subjects Methodology: This research is ex-post facto research and correlation research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students in grades VII and VIII of MTs Al Mu'minien, MTs Lohbener, MTs Ma'arif Langut and MTs Al Ghifari, totaling 1,294 students. The sampling technique used multi stage sampling with Isaac and Michael tables, and the sample obtained was 224 students. The data collection method uses a questionnaire for student discipline variables as well as learning motivation and documentation variables . Main Findings: The main finding of this research is the positive and significant relationship between student discipline and learning motivation together on civic education learning achievement. This can have the implication that with student discipline and learning motivation in students together, students' Civics learning achievement will also increase . So that it can give rise to an urge for interest in learning to achieve a goal, for example becoming class champion . Novelty / Originality of this research: The novelty of this research is the importance of the relationship between discipline and learning motivation together on student learning achievement in Citizen Education. It is considered important to combine the relationship between discipline and student learning motivation because this can be one way for students to have high levels concern for learning so that students can get good grades.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terjadinya pemekaran di KabupatenBandung yaitu lahirnya Kabupaten Bandung Barat melalui Undang-Undang nomor12 tahun 2007 Tentang Pembentukan Kabupaten Bandung Barat, dimana proseslahirnya Kabupaten Bandung Barat tak lepas dari proses politik dan juga isusubjektif yang senantiasa mewarnai proses pemekaran. Isu subjektif berupakepentingan elit politik, pemilik modal dan juga birokrasi senantiasa menjadi isuyang bergulir selama pemekaran ini terjadi dan lebih menarik dibanding isu objektifpemekaran itu sendiri. Dalam proses pembentukan Kabupaten Bandung Baratpada tahun 2007, terdapat agenda setting yang dilakukan oleh beberapa aktor yangterlibat dalam proses pembentukannya. Aktor tersebut bukan hanya aktorpemerintah saja, namun juga melibatkan aktor LSM, pengusaha, media dan jugamasyarakat pada umumnya yang memiliki kepentingan dalam pemekaran ini.
