Abstract

The problem experienced by service partners is the lack of knowledge of teachers related to CAR (Class Action Research) and its implementation so that teachers at Tamansari 1 and 2 Elementary Schools do not carry out CAR. In addition, the existing CAR trainings are not carried out continuously so that they do not bring results and motivate teachers to do CAR. The purpose of this community service is to strengthen CAR material to improve CAR-related knowledge, namely the basic concept of CAR, problem identification and problem solving in CAR, development of CAR Instruments, preparation of CAR proposals, CAR implementation and writing of CAR reports. In addition, the purpose of this PKM is to provide assistance in the preparation and implementation of CAR by guiding CAR 1 and 2 Yogyakarta elementary school teachers.The method used in the implementation of this service was the Workshop carried out with the lecture method (face to face), demonstration (practice), and the distribution of modules for strengthening CAR material and assistance was carried out with the method of coaching and implementing CAR together.community service results are that teachers in SDN Tamansari 1 and 2 can better understand the importance of CAR concepts, implementation of CAR, and CAR reporting.Keywords: Workshop, CAR, Collaborative.

Abstract

Perubahan pembelajaran daring menjadi luring pasca pandemi Covid 19 berakibat pada sulitnya siswa tingkat SMP menyelesaikan soal pelajaran matematika. Akibatnya hasil belajar siswa dan kemampuan berpikirnya sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen kemampuan pemecahan masalah, literasi, dan komunikasi matematika bagi siswa SMP kelas IX semester satu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan ADDIE yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa soal tes berbentuk uraian dan lembar observasi. Sebanyak 15 soal terdiri 5 soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan standar kompetensi teorema pythagoras, 6 soal kemampuan literasi dengan standar kompetensi statistika, dan 4 soal kemampuan komunikasi dengan standar kompetensi pola bilangan. Kualitas soal hasil dari uji validitas butir soal semua diatas 0,3, reliabilitas kemampuan pemecahan masalah 0,886, kemampuan literasi 0,189, dan kemampuan komunikasi 0,664, tingkat kesukaran mudah dan sedang, serta daya pembeda sangat baik, baik, dan cukup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa nilai skor 70, rerata kemampuan literasi siswa 65, dan rerata kemampuan komunikasi siswa 48. Simpulan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan dalam pelajaran matematika yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah,kemampuan literasi, dan kemampuan komunikasi yang diujikan kepada siswa sekolah menengah pertama kelas IX valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

Lack of access to information about writing scientific papers, classroom action research and numeric literacy. This causes a lack of professional teachers who produce scientific papers, classroom action research and numeric literacy. PGRI Yogyakarta University is one of the universities that has a professional education program department, there are still several professional teachers who have not written scientific work. classroom action research and numeric literacy. Even though there are already professional teachers who have carried out the writing of works. There are still many teachers who are too busy teaching and preparing material every day which means teachers no longer have time to write work. Based on these problems, the method used is an academic seminar to increase teacher professionalism through scientific work, classroom action research, and numeric literacy. The results of the analysis stated that there were changes that occurred in teachers after participating in academic seminar activities. An understanding of the professionalism of elementary school teachers through writing scientific papers, classroom action research and numeracy in learning which was previously ignored makes writing works interesting. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mathematical reasoning ability and student interest in learning on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMP N 7 Yogyakarta in the 2023/2024 school year. Sampling in this study used the Simple Random Sampling technique and obtained the research samples, namely class VII B and VII C. This type of research is correlational research. Data collection used in this study was a description test and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of mathematical reasoning ability and student learning interest on student learning outcomes. The results concluded that mathematical reasoning ability (X1) and interest in learning (X2) simultaneously (together) affect learning outcomes (Y) by 19,5%. While the rest is influenced by variables that are not studied.

Abstract

Peningkatan pendidikan dalam era digital menuntut pendekatan yang inovatif dan efektif dalam menyampaikan materi pelajaran. Game edukasi 3D tidak hanya memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep aljabar secara visual, tetapi juga menawarkan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Materi aljabar dapat disajikan dalam bentuk visualisasi game 3D yang menyenangkan dan dapat menarik perhatian siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan game edukasi 3D pada materi Aljabar menggunakan pendekatan Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). Pembuatan asset 3D menggunakan adalah Unity engine versi 2023.3.14f. Berdasarkan hasil uji dari ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukan bahwa rata-rata persentasi hasil mendapatkan skor sebesar 91,59%. menunjukkan interpretasi “Sangat Valid”. Hasil uji pengguna menunjukkan hasil rata-rata sebesar 95% interprestasi “Sangat Valid”. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dirancang telah memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan dari pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil uji media pembelajaran tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran menggunakan visualisasi game layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam materi aljabar.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the critical thinking abilities of class X SMA Negeri 2 Grabag students. The research method used was qualitative with a research focus on the subject of three class X-2 students at SMA Negeri 2 Grabag, who represented various levels of ability, namely high group students, medium group students and low group students. Data collected through a written test which includes critical thinking indicators in mathematics interviews. The research results showed that there were 23% of students in the high category, 63% of students in the medium category, and 14% of students in the low category. Students in the high group are able to master all indicators of critical thinking in statistics material. Students with moderate abilities show good abilities except for some deficiencies in interpretation and analysis. Students with low abilities tend to have limitations in data interpretation, inference and other critical thinking skills such as analysis, evaluation and inference. The implication of these findings is the need for learning strategies to improve students' critical thinking skills in understanding and applying statistical concepts.

Abstract

The research aims to know student’s mathematics critical thinking ability at the inquiry learning process of P flat side geometry of cube and cuboid class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Sentolo. This kind of research is qualitative research. The research subject was six students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Sentolo, that consist of two students of high class, two students of the middle class, and two students of low class. The collected data was in the form of written and oral. The written data was obtained from the test, and the oral data was obtained from the interview. Mathematic critical thinking ability was measured based on Ennis’ indicator. The research result showed that after student followed the learning process with guided inquiry learning method, high-class students can build the entire indicator of mathematic critical thinking ability correctly and completely, middle-class students can built the entire indicator of mathematic critical thinking ability correctly but there were little problems at the indicator 1, 2, 3 and 4, whereas low-class students can build the entire indicator of mathematic critical thinking ability correctly but there were little problems at the indicator 2 and 3. Besides, they less in indicator 1 and 4.

Abstract

Efektivitas pembelajaran sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat ketertarikan siswa terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Salah satu indikator ketertarikan siswa yang dapat diamati adalah ekspresi wajah mereka selama proses pembelajaran. Namun, pengamatan manual oleh pendidik sering kali kurang akurat dan tidak konsisten. Oleh karena itu, pengenalan ekspresi wajah berbasis teknologi menjadi alternatif yang potensial untuk memantau dan menganalisis ketertarikan siswa secara objektif dan real-time. Penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma deep learning untuk mendeteksi ekspresi wajah siswa dan mengklasifikasikannya ke dalam kategori ketertarikan. Data diambil dari video pembelajaran yang direkam di lingkungan kelas. Model convolutional neural network (CNN) digunakan untuk ekstraksi fitur wajah, sementara algoritma klasifikasi emosi diterapkan untuk mengenali ekspresi yang relevan. Dataset pelatihan dan pengujian berupa gambar yang di photo kemudian di proses untuk menentukan ekspresi wajah siswa yang dan diberi label berdasarkan tingkat ketertarikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model deep learning yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang baik dalam mengenali ekspresi wajah siswa terkait ketertarikan. Model ini berhasil mendeteksi perubahan ekspresi secara konsisten dalam berbagai kondisi pencahayaan dan sudut pandang kamera. Dengan hasil ini, sistem yang diusulkan memiliki potensi untuk diimplementasikan sebagai alat pendukung dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat mendukung dalam menentukan metode mengajar yang tepat.
