Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the tenth grade students’ numeracy literacy ability in solving contextual-based story problems at SMK Negeri 4 Klaten in the 2022/2023 academic year. Taking research subjects using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques are documentation, tests and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained: students' numeracy literacy ability in identifying and understanding problems for students in the upper group had very good criteria (100%), students in the middle group had less criteria (50%) and students in the lower group had very poor criteria (0%); students' numeracy literacy ability in understanding and using symbols and numbers for group students with very good criteria (91.7%), middle and lower group students with very good criteria (87.5%); students' numeracy literacy ability in selecting and applying problem solving methods for students in the upper group had very good criteria (87.5%), students in the middle group had good criteria (79.2%), students in the lower group had good criteria (70.8%); as well as the ability of students' numeracy literacy in drawing and explaining the conclusions of the final results obtained from solving problems for students in the top group with very good criteria (91.7%), students in the middle and lower groups with good criteria (66.7%). In solving contextual-based word problems, students made several mistakes due to students' lack of accuracy and thoroughness both in reading the questions, writing answers and the calculation process.

Abstract

The development of the era of globalization is accelerating, which must be supported by the ability of expert students. This study aims to find out how content-differentiated learning through the ESS-MATH-based Problem-Based Learning model affects the ability of class X students of SMK N 1 Klaten to solve problems from a learning style. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative research methods. The instruments used were David Kolb's learning style questionnaire, the ESS-MATH application and problem-solving ability questions. The results obtained are that the application of content-differentiated learning using the ESS-MATH-based PBL model is able to improve students' skills in problem-solving according to their learning style. The ESS-MATH application is a new alternative in the implementation of content-differentiated learning because it can meet the learning needs of students and ease of use.

Abstract

This study was conducted by developing a performance analysis model of the competitiveness of Integrated Islamic Middle Schools (SMPIT). As a result of acquiring new students, SMPIT is experiencing increased student interest. The study aims to build a marketing strategy model based on competitive quality performance excellence and to determine the position of excellence of each SMPIT in Klaten City. The quantitative approach was used through a multivariate multidimensional scaling statistical test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which included 112 respondents. The quantitative test of the model consists of the validity and reliability test of the instrument and the quantitative multidimensional scaling test of SMPIT competitiveness using the SPSS 21 program. This study produces attributes in the questionnaire including market orientation, program innovation, environmental adaptability and the influence of competitive advantage. The results of the quantitative test show that the instrument items are valid and reliable. SMPIT Ibnu Abbas and SMPIT Hidayah have the highest competitive advantage points in the competitiveness map of superior schools, both quantitative and qualitative, in Klaten Regency, namely in Quadrant I. The final stage of the research has formed a map of each SMPIT so that the competitiveness of superior Islamic high schools is created to welcome the era of demographic bonus and economic growth towards the golden generation of Indonesia in 2045. The novelty of this research is that it combines the concept of positioning the competitiveness of superior Islamic schools based on multidimensional scaling with the object of observation of secondary Islamic education. This study combines the idea of competitive advantage of the quality performance of Islamic educational institutions through the positioning of multidimensional scaling models.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the excellent position of each sharia hospital in Klaten Regency so that it can determine the right marketing strategy to satisfy and increase public interest in trusting the quality of services provided by sharia hospitals. This research was carried out with a quantitative approach through Multivariate multidimensional scaling statistical tests. The novelty of the research combines the concept of competitive excellence, quality performance of sharia health service institutions through position mapping using a multidimensional scaling model. The population in the study were all people who had used sharia hospital services in Klaten. The sample of respondents was taken using a purposive sampling technique as many as 120 adult respondents. Attributes in the questionnaire include Sharia facilities, paramedical services, medical expertise, medical atmosphere and facilities, administrative services. In the final stage of the research, a map of the position of each sharia hospital was formed so as to create the competitiveness of each excellent sharia hospital in Klaten Regency to welcome the era of achieving SDGs goals and achieving optimal sharia economic growth in the health sector in 2045

Abstract

A graph that has odd harmonious labeling properties is called an odd harmonious graph. The purpose of this research is to obtain a new class graphs construction which is a family of odd harmonious graphs. The research method used consisted of several stages, namely research preparation, research investigation and verifivation of research results. The results of this study, we will give a line amalgamation construction of n double quadrilateral graphs DQ, denoted by *DQ(n) with n>= 1 and graph obtained by connecting between two graphs *DQ(n) with line graph L2, denoted by *(DQ(n),L2,DQ(n)). It has  further been proven that *DQ(n) and *(DQ(n),L2,DQ(n)) have odd harmonious labeling properties, such that all of them are odd harmonious graphs.

Abstract

Applications of graph labeling in the fields of communication network addressing, database management, secret sharing schemes, and cryptology. Graphs that satisfy the odd harmonious labeling property are called odd harmonious graphs. The purposes of the research are to obtain the construction of the union of zinnia flower graphs, the union of double quadrilateral flower graphs, the rosella flower graphs, and the union of rosella flower graphs. The research method consists of literature study, graph class construction, graph labeling construction, theorem construction, and proof. The result of the research proves that the union of the zinnia flower graph, the double quadrilateral flower graph, the rosella flower graph, and the union of the rosella flower graph satisfies the odd harmonious labeling property. Thus, the novelty of this research is that the properties of the new graph class of odd harmonious graphs are obtained.

Abstract

The product fuzzy graph is an extension of the fuzzy graph definition by replacing the minimum operation with the product operation. This research is qualitative research with research stages consisting of determining open problems, constructing new definitions, constructing new properties as theorems, and verifying results in the form of mathematical proofs. The purpose of this research is to get the Cartesian product definition of the product fuzzy graph and its properties. The results showed that the Cartesian product of two product fuzzy graphs is a fuzzy graph, the Cartesian product of two strong product fuzzy graphs is a strong product fuzzy graph, and the resulting Cartesian product of two complete product fuzzy graphs is a strong product fuzzy graph. Thus, the novelty of this research is that new properties of product fuzzy graphs are obtained.

Abstract

This community engagement project sought to introduce foundational literacy and numeracy skills to children in the Gayamprit area, Klaten, through the creative activity of making Batik with geometric motifs. The program was conducted from March to May 2024. The methodology employed a mixed approach, including trials, hands-on Batik practice, instructional learning, interactive Q&A sessions, reflection, public socialization, and a final exhibition. The initiative successfully cultivated and introduced core literacy and numeracy habits, evidenced by several key outcomes: 100% of participants successfully produced Batik with geometric motifs, demonstrating technical application; 100% of participants were able to correctly and verbally identify the shapes and properties of basic planar geometry, indicating significant numeracy comprehension; all participants actively engaged in the learning process utilizing the Batik media and instructional materials; and the project’s impact was successfully socialized through the final public exhibition. This hands-on, culturally relevant approach proved effective in tangibly enhancing fundamental academic skills among Gayamprit’s children.
