Abstract

Anemia is a health problem in pregnant women. Globally, there was 36,5% anemia in pregnant women (2019). Giving blood-added tablets is one of the important efforts to prevent and control anemia due to iron deficiency. Preliminary studies showed that 5 out of 15 pregnant women did not comply to consumed blood-added tablets (33.3%). The study objective was to determine the factors related to the behaviour of consuming blood-added tablets in third pregnant women at RSIA Avisena in 2022. This study has an 84 sample size and purposive sampling techniques. This study used a cross-sectional study design. The consumption of blood-added tablets is a dependent variable. The knowledge, attitudes, side effects, and husband support are independent variables. Collection data used primary data with questionnaires. Data is analyzed with bivariate analysis (the Chi-Square test). There was a relationship between knowledge (PR=3.32; 95%CI=2.03- 5.43) and there was no relationship between attitudes (PR=1.42; 95%CI=0.80-2.51) side effects (PR=1.21; 95%CI=0.78-1.88), husband support (PR=1.28; 95%CI=0.83-1.97). Hospitals should provide a leaflet explaining the tablet to increase pregnant women's knowledge. The hospital can also utilize WhatsApp groups to educate them about the benefits of Fe tablets and remind them to comply with taking Fe tablets.

Abstract

Factors related to the quality of a hospital's service are the Job Attitude of health workers with a good nurse's Job Attitude, it can also create good health services for patients, where one of the dimensions of Job Attitude is job satisfaction. Employees who do not get job satisfaction will not achieve psychological satisfaction and eventually negative behavior arises. Conversely, employees who get job satisfaction will work well, enthusiastically, actively, thereby encouraging work passion and being able to perform better. Job Attitude/work attitude can be reflected in 4 indicators, namely leaving/exit, aspirations/voice, loyalty/loyalty, and neglect/neglect. Based on a report from the Human Resources (HR) unit for 2022, in the last 1 year there were 15 out of 66 nurses (± 23%) at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital Jakarta who resigned which according to Hasibuan (2012) the turnover should not be more than 10% . Even with the easing of the Covid-19 pandemic, the nurse turnover rate is getting higher. Researchers conducted a search, namely that more and more nurses felt that the compensation provided by the hospital was not in accordance with the workload given, the organizational climate was less supportive in professional development so that it had an impact on decreased work motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of compensation and organizational climate on job attitudes mediated by the motivation of nurses at Murni Teguh Sudirman Hospital, Jakarta. This study uses a survey method, which is research that takes samples from a population using a questionnaire as the principal data collection tool to examine the observed symptoms or phenomena. This study uses a causality design based on the cross-sectional time dimension, namely measurements of the independent and dependent variables are carried out at the same time. The unit of analysis is the individual, the data analysis method uses Regression. The number of samples obtained and fulfilling the inclusion criteria was 55 samples. Based on the research results, it was found that compensation, organizational climate and motivation simultaneously had an influence on job attitude, but motivation could not be an intervening variable. The implications of this research in theory will prove the influence of research variables and managerially can improve the compensation system in hospitals.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is one of the serious health problems in Indonesia with a prevalence of 34.1%. Specific risk factors including an unhealthy diet might influence the disease. Objectives: The study aimed to describe the prevalence of hypertension, difference in the prevalence across districts/cities and regions, and analyze the main risk factors of the disease at district level in Indonesia. Methods: This cross-sectional is a descriptive secondary data analysis of Basic Health Research 2018 using mean comparison, correlation, and multivariate linear regression analysis. The analysis incorporated aggregate data from 478 districts. The dependent variable was hypertension prevalence, and the independent variables were obesity, central obesity, smoking, salty, instant, and fatty food consumption, fruit and vegetable consumption, physical activity, and blood pressure check. The sampling technique was total sampling with criteria of all variables having complete data. Results: The mean prevalence of hypertension in districts in Indonesia was 31.18%. There was no difference in hypertension prevalence between districts and cities but there was a difference across seven regions in Indonesia, namely Sumatera, Java-Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. The most influential risk factors were regular blood pressure checks (Beta 0.326), lack of fruit and vegetable consumption (Beta 0.169), salty foods consumption (Beta 0.124), and fatty foods consumption (Beta 0.055). Conclusions: Blood pressure checks and an unhealthy diet were the most influential risk factors for hypertension. It is recommended for the Government and the public to increase blood pressure screening and avoid unhealthy diets.
