Abstract

Kehadiran mahasiswa sebagai intelektual muda diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat dengan melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah melalui kegiatan Praktek Kerja Mahasiswa (PKM) yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, yang secara terorganisir dibangun untuk menumbuh kembangkan empati dan kepedulian terhadap persoalan-persoalan yang tengah dihadapai oleh masyarakat. Ada 3 tahapan kegiatan ini antara lain: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini pada dasarnya berjalan dengan sangat baik sesuai dengan tujuan awal yang telah ditentukan dengan tujuan untuk mendekatkan akses bahan bacaan kepada masyarakat dengan harapan dapat mengoptimalkan minat baca di masyarakat melalui program Silang Layan di Dinas Perpustaan dan Kearsipan. Dari hasil evaluasi, kegiatan ini mendapatkan tanggapan baik dari sekolah-sekolah sasaran, hal ini dapat terlihat dari antusiasme sekolah sasaran saat program ini dijalankan.

Abstract

Publikasi ilmiah merupakan salah satu bagian penting bagi guru-guru dalam meningkatkan profesionalitasnya. Selain itu publikasi ilmiah juga menjadi alternatif sarana bagi guru dan mengumpulkan angka kredit. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu agar menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan bagi guru-guru terkait publikasi ilmiah di jurnal nasional. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan sosialisai kepada peserta pengabdian dalam hal ini adalah guru-guru di SMP Swasta Gita Surya Eban. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan 4 tahapan yaitu 1) tahap koordinasi dengan mitra; 2) tahap persiapan; 3) tahap pelaksanaan; dan 4) tahap evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru di SMP Swasta Gita Surya Eban sudah paham dengan materi yang dipaparkan oleh tim pengabdi yaitu mengenai pentingnya publikasi karya tulis ilmiah pada jurnal nasional. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga mendapatkan respon yang positif dari pihak peserta pengabdian. Dengan kegiatan pengabdian juga ini penulis berharap guru-guru di SMP Swasta Gita Surya mampu untuk mempublikasikan hasil karya tulis ilmiah mereka ke dalam jurna-jurnal nasional

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there was an effect of guided inquiry learning on students' understanding of the concepts of physics. By using a quasi-experimental research method with. Non-Equivalent research design. Control Group Design in order to obtain two class groups, namely the experimental and control groups. Data were collected using an objective test of concept understanding in the form of a multiple-choice test with five choice options. The data obtained were then tested the prerequisites first. After the data is said to be distributed normally and homogeneously, it is followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test. The t-test result shows that the significance value is smaller than the α value (0.000 <0.05), so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Which means that there is an effect of understanding the concept of physics between participants being taught learning guided inquiry and being taught conventionally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Barombong. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan populasi adalah seluruh peserta didik SMP Negeri 2 Barombong dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 72 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non-tes dengan instrument kuesioner motivasi berprestasi dan dokumentasi hasil belajar. Analisis data dengan teknik regresi sederhana dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara motivasi berprestasi dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik SMP Negeri 2 Barombong pada semester genap TA 2019/2020 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.676.Kata kunci: motivasi berprestasi, hasil belajar, peserta didik, fisika This research was conducted to determine the relationship between achievement motivation and physics learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 2 Barombong. This research is an ex-post-facto study with a population of all students of SMP Negeri 2 Barombong with a purposive sampling technique in order toobtain a sample of 72 people. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques with achievement motivation questionnaire instruments and documentation of learning outcomes. Data analysis used simple regression techniques with the help of the SPSS application. The results of the analysis show that there is a strong relationship between achievement motivation and learning outcomes of physics students at SMP Negeri 2 Barombong even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year with a correlation coefficient of 0.676.Keywords: achievement motivation, learning outcomes, students, physics

Abstract

Guru adalah pendidik profesional dengan tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik pada pendidikan anak usia dini jalur pendidikan formal, pendidikan dasar, dan pendidikan menengah. Dalam melaksanakan tugas keprofesionalan, guru berkewajiban merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan proses pembelajaran yang bermutu, serta menilai dan mengevaluasi hasil pembelajaran. Tugas pokok guru dan tanggung jawab guru yang demikian berat dan menentukan dalam mencapai tujuan pembangunan bangsa dan negaranya. Oleh karena itu maka layaklah jika guru mendapatkan imbalan yang layak bagi kemanusiaan dan layak memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dan keluarganya. Namun usaha untuk memperbaiki kesejahteraan guru memang sudah dilakukan seperti kenaikan pangkat yang bisa dilakukan cukup 2 tahun tidak harus menunggu 4 tahun, juga tak terbatas hanya sampai Golongan IV a/Pembina saja, namun bisa sampai golongan IV e/Guru Utama asal dipenuhi syarat-syarat yang ditentukan. Pada umumnya guru masih banyak yang kesulitan naik pangkat dan golongan IV a/Pembina ke IV b/Pembina Tingkat I keatas yang kendalanya adalah pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah yang disyaratkan harus dipenuhi angka kredit minimal 12 dari unsur pengembangan profesi yang antara lain meliputi melakukan kegiatan karya tulis/karya ilmiah dalam bidang pendidikan. Berkaitan dengan masalah di atas, pengenalan dan pelatihan karya tulis ilmiah merupakan solusi yang diharapkan dapat membantu guru-guru menulis karya ilmiah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pemberian informasi dan pengetahuan bagaimana seorang guru mampu menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah, mensitasi sumber bacaan, dan cara untuk mempublikasikan karya tulis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the students' use of smartphones in Biology subjects in high school, to determine students' learning motivation in Biology subjects in high school, and to determine how much influence the use of smartphones had on learning motivation in Biology subjects in high school. This research was conducted at SMAN 3 Kefamenanu in the odd semester of T.A 2021/2022. This research is ex post facto research using a quantitative approach consisting of one independent variable and one dependent variable. The sample in this study were all students of MIA SMAN 3 Kefamenanu, totaling 42 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. There are 2 types of questionnaires, namely the smartphone use questionnaire and the learning motivation questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical tests, students' smartphone use is in the medium category, namely 72%, students' learning motivation is in the medium category, which is 67%, while the results of simple linear regression show that there is an effect of smartphone use on students' learning motivation, it can be seen that R Square is worth 0.003. It can be concluded that even though it is in a low category, the effect of smartphone use (X) on learning motivation (Y) is 3%.

Abstract

The research on the development of flip chart-based learning media is motivated by the problems that students get during the biology learning process, especially in the kingdom plantae material, namely the difficulty of identifying, finding and memorizing the scientific names of these plants. From the results of initial observations made with biology subject teachers stated that the teacher strongly agreed with the development of new, simple and effective learning media so that they could overcome the difficulties experienced by students during the learning process, such as flip media charts. The method in this research is Research & Development (R&D). The results of research of the media expert’s assessment obtained an average value of 88.42%, including the "very valid" and feasible category to use. The results of the assessment by natural expets obtained an average value of 92.72%, including the "very valid" category and suitable for use. The results of the subject teacher’s assesment obtained an average value of 84.28%, including the "very valid" category and suitable for use. The developed flip chart media is good and suintable for use in the learning process in class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying scientific approaches to reduce student misconceptions. The subjects of this study were students of Noemuti State High School with a sample size of 58 students obtained through purposive sampling techniques, which were then divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. This research itself is a quasi-experimental research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. Misconception data was obtained by giving a test in the form of a multiple-choice test of 25 questions with 5 answer choices with the help of CRI. The results showed that the percentage of misconceptions during the pre-test was almost the same between the experimental and control groups, namely 46.05% and 45.25%. Meanwhile, after being given treatment to the experimental group and carrying out a post-test, there was a difference in the percentage of student misconceptions between the experimental and control groups, namely 20.69% for the experimental class and 34.90% for the control group. Furthermore, from the results of data analysis using the t-test, the sig value of the research data was obtained from 0.00 < 0.05. This shows that there is an influence of scientific approaches on reducing student misconceptions where. By using a scientific approach, the reduction of student misconceptions is better than without using a scientific approach.

Abstract

In this study, the aim was to produce learning media based on the Google Slides application for natural science subjects on the human digestive system at Fatumfaun Public Middle School and then to find out the feasibility of Google Slides-based learning media for natural science subjects on the food digestive system for humans at public junior high schools. Fatumfaun based on the results of expert reviews and trials. Research and development (Research and Development) is a method used in this investigation. Both qualitative and quantitative data kinds are employed. The results of the assessment of media experts have an average value of 92.30% and are stated to be very good for testing. The results show that the material expert's assessment obtained an average value of 96.67% and was stated to be very good for testing. Based on Table 5, the trial of learning media products based on the Google Slides application is included in the very good category to be tested at Fatumfaun Public Middle School with an average score of 89.25% of student assessment results. The development of Google Slides application-based learning media for the digestive system material in humans that was developed was declared feasible to be tested.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning resources used that do not fully support the needs of students and also the limited laboratory facilities at school to observe viruses are not yet available. The purpose of this study was to develop learning resources in the form of interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline on virus material for class X IPA students of Senior High School (SMAS Pelita Karya) and test the feasibility of interactive multimedia. This research uses the type of research and development (R&D), but in this research process, it only reaches the feasibility test by experts and does not reach the student trial stage. The data source in this study is the validation results obtained from 2 media experts, 1 material expert, and 2 experts on the feasibility of Biology learning media. The data obtained were then analyzed and presented in the form of tables and figures. The validation results from the first media expert obtained an overall average of 4.56 aspects with the category "Very Feasible", and the evaluation results from the second media expert obtained an average of 4.56 with the category "Very Feasible". The results of validation from material experts obtained an overall average aspect of 4.33 with the category "Very Feasible". The validation results from the first Biology learning media feasibility expert obtained an overall average of 4.00 aspects with the category "Feasible", for the assessment results from the second Biology learning media feasibility expert obtained an overall average of 4.70 aspects with the category "Very Feasible". The assessment results from the validators show that interactive multimedia based on Articulate Storyline on virus material is very feasible to use as learning media.
