Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui evaluasi efektifitas pembelajaran menggunakan e-learning di Program Studi Pendidikan Olahraga Universitas Quality Berastagi semenjak merebaknya pandemi corona virus disease 2019 (covid-19) di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Olahraga yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan mempertimbangkan homogenitas populasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode survey dengan angket dan wawancara yang dilakukan secara online. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan e-learning pada program pendidikan olahraga efektif dengan kecenderungan sebesar 70,19%. Kegiatan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran e-learning yaitu mengikuti UTS dan UAS (100%), aktif diskusi dan mengerjakan tugas (80%). Keluhan selama mengikuti pembelajaran e-learning termasuk dalam tidak ada keluhan berarti hanya saja sebagian dari mahasiswa bekerja, tidak memiliki kuota internet dan jaringan yang cenderung tidak stabil.  Sedangkan untuk keluhan psikologis hanya 14% mahasiswa yang bosan/jenuh dikarenakan mengikuti pembelajaran e-learning, akan tetapi 84% tidak ada keluhan.

Abstract

Motivation is an impulse that comes from within a person to be able to manifest actions in producing a goal. As for the urge to do something, it can achieve certain needs. Learning outcomes are abilities that are contained in students that will be obtained from students from experience during learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes of physical education in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive quantitative method. Data collection techniques used in this study using the google form application. This research is a study involving a sample with a population of 35 students. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation. The results showed that: (1) the average / mean learning motivation of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi was 60.77 or in the moderate category, (2) the average / mean learning outcomes of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi was 80 , 77 or in the moderate category, and (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in the Physical Education Subject of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. This is indicated by the magnitude of the calculated r value is greater than r table (0.512> 0.375) and the significance value is 0.000, which means less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).

Abstract

Sports activities can be associated with health and goal achievement, which includes various aspects, one of which is physical fitness. The Covid-19 outbreak has not been identified in terms of the physical fitness of students majoring in sports, especially during the new normal period. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of physical fitness of sports students. This research is a descriptive research with a survey approach. The demographics and sample of this research are sports students, with a total of 15 students whose data collection was carried out before and after the new normal period of Covid-19. The data collection technique in this study used a physical fitness test instrument consisting of test items, namely a 60-meter run test, a 60-second hanging test, a sit-up test for 60 seconds, an upright jump test, and a 1200-meter run test. The data analysis approach used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis with percentage presentation. Based on the results of the study, the physical fitness of the students of the Sports Education Study Program, Quality Berastagi University very good 1 person (6.67%), good 3 people (20%), moderate 5 people (40%), less than 3 people (20%0 and less than 2 people (13.33%). So it can be concluded that in the new era Normal level of physical fitness is categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perspektif mahasiswa terhadap perkuliahan pendidikan jasmani di Program Studi PGSD Universitas Quality Berastagi. Penelitian survei dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang terdaftar pada Program Studi PGSD Universitas Berastagi Kualitas pada tahun 2021. Besar sampel adalah 50 mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD Universitas Kualitas Berastagi. Penelitian ini merupakan model survei kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa angket, dengan responden sebanyak 50 mahasiswa. Data yang terkumpul ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik dan dievaluasi menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Mahasiswa diminta menilai kinerja dosen dalam lima komponen penilaian: kehadiran, kesiapan, penguasaan materi, penyampaian materi, serta evaluasi dan penilaian perkuliahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa aspek yang dikemukakan dapat ditarik hasil secara umum bahwa persentase pada rata-rata pada setiap aspek yaitu kriteria sangat baik 43.62%, kriteria baik sebesar 47.70%, kriteria cukup sebesar 6.12%, kriteria kurang sebesar 1.53%, dan kriteria tidak baik sebesar 1.02%. Namun, kita dapat cermati bahwa secara umum persepsi mahasiswa dalam menilai dosen adalah pada tingkat baik sebesar 47.70%.

Abstract

Coffee is a psychostimulant drink used by athletes as a supplement when they are training, because the coffee content affects physical activity with the content of the CNS in it. In addition, the methylxanthine group contained in caffeine has an effect on increasing heart rate and frequency. So that the positive benefits arising from the use of coffee became the basis for conducting this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of caffeine use on VO2max and pulse rate after exercise in Junior Karo Taekwondo Club athletes. This research is an experiment with a research design "pre-post control group design". The sample in this study used the slovin formula, so that a total sample of 60 participants was obtained. This treatment was given 12 meetings and in a week there were 3 meetings. This pulse measurement will use an oximeter. The results of this study, the average value of VO2max based on the fatigue time of the control group was 30.5612 ml/kg/minute, the treatment group was 33.8532 ml/kg/minute. Meanwhile, VO2max based on the control group's pulse was 135.501 times/minute ml/kg/minute, the treatment group was 140.145 ml/kg/minute (T-paired test data analysis with 95% significance). The average post-test pulse rate for the control group was 135,401 times/minute, the treatment group was 140,145 times/minute. The pulse recovery time was obtained when the average pretest pulse rate was 85.8 beats/minute, the control group reached the initial value at the 14th minute, while the treatment group reached the initial value at the 10th minute after exercise.

Abstract

Endurance is very important when doing sports, especially for an athlete to be able to maximize when doing a match. Good endurance will see the condition of the body that is able to move without experiencing fatigue, so it is necessary to conduct a study for this research location. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interval training on increasing VO2max and the effect of interval training on increasing VO2Max at Karo PGSI Wrestling Club. The method used in this study is the pre-experimental method with interval training exercises. The research design that will be used in this study is the pre-test post-test group design. With the subject The subjects in this study were 10 athletes wrestling PGSI Karo SMK 1 Kabanjahe. The results showed that the average (mean) and VO2max of each of the pre-test data were the lowest, namely 32.8 and the highest, namely 40.5. Then the data obtained by the post-test is the lowest value, namely 40.1 and the highest, namely 44.5. While the pre-test mean value is 36.4 and the post-test mean value is 38.9. Standard deviation (SD) pretest 3.28 and posttest 2.76 and change value (D) 36.4. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between interval training on the VO2max of PGSI Karo wrestling athletes by 6.5%.

Abstract

Wrestling is a martial art that brings two people together on the mat, and the fight is carried out using the techniques of pulling, pushing, tackling, slamming, pressing, lifting and holding the opponent so that both of the opponent's shoulders stick to the mat without violating the applicable rules. Wrestling requires a strong physique because it uses muscles throughout the body; Therefore, wrestling athletes must maintain their physical condition through planned training. Therefore, in order to play optimally, each player must have excellent physical condition. Maximum oxygen volume (VO2max) is an indicator of physical condition. This study aims (1) to determine the effect of interval training on increasing VO2max; (2) to determine whether there are differences between athletes who have a normal and high body mass index regarding VO2max. This research is experimental research using quantitative methodology. Wrestling athletes from Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province were the subjects of this research. In this study the independent variables were Oregon interval and circuit training; Therapy is given for four weeks with a training frequency of twice a week. The results of the research show that (1) there is a significant influence between the interval training and Oregon circuit training methods on increasing VO2max with an F value of 15.374 and a p value <0.05, so it can be concluded that the group studied using interval training was more good when compared with the group using the Oregon circuit with a difference value obtained of 0.68. (2) There is a significant difference in influence between students who have a high BMI and a normal BMI on VO2max, with an F value of 86.487 and p < 0.05. The results obtained from data analysis of wrestling athletes who have a normal BMI with an average difference of 3.14 are higher when compared to athletes with a high BMI, namely 1.22 with a difference of 1.92. (3) With an F value of 1.419 and p > 0.05, there is no significant interaction between interval training and Oregon Circuit training techniques with BMI (high and normal) on VO2Max.

Abstract

The scientific approach is a learning model using the scientific method in student-centered learning activities (student-centered approach). The scientific approach aims to be able to have capabilities in critical, scientific and analytical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of a scientific approach to PJOK learning at SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. This research approach is a qualitative method. Data collection and retrieval was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe. While the technique of data collection is by interviews and questionnaire assistance. The samples used were 2 PJOK teachers and 124 students who were taught by these teachers. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the PJOK learning approach using a scientific approach at SMK Negeri 1 Kabanjahe is included in the good category of 79.14% seen from lesson planning, learning processes, and assessment of student learning outcomes. Through a scientific approach in learning at school will give students ways to think, behave and innovate in learning.

Abstract

A healthy lifestyle is the basis for developing good physical fitness, so that you can complete routine tasks without feeling tired and participate in various extracurricular activities. Because lifestyle has a big influence on life and health, especially now that many new diseases are emerging, it is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to have a fit body. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between healthy lifestyle and physical fitness of students at SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe. This research method uses a quantitative approach and correlation is used for this type of research. The population of this study consisted of students from SMA Negeri 2 Kabanjahe. The sample for this research was X, XI, totaling 55 using the census. This research's data collection technique uses a questionnaire to measure healthy lifestyle patterns to identify students' lifestyle habits. Meanwhile, the MFT test measures physical fitness. SPSS version 20 was used to analyze the data in this study which included descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, and Spearman rho correlation test. SPSS 20.0 was used to analyze the data in this study which included descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, and Spearman rho correlation test. The research results showed that the average score for a healthy lifestyle was 90.11% with the highest result being 117 and the lowest result being 56. The average fitness score was 48.5 (maximum) and 20.4 (minimum). The correlation test shows the value of healthy living and physical fitness of students (r=0.051, p=0.632 > 0.05). So it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between a healthy lifestyle and the physical fitness of SMA 2 Kabanjahe students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengetahuan yang dimiliki siswa kelas VII UPT SMP Negeri 016 Nagasaribu V Humbang Hasundutan tentang olahraga tradisional sebagai bagian dari budaya lokal yang perlu dilestarikan. Olahraga tradisional tidak hanya sebagai sarana hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media untuk menentukan karakter, mengembangkan kebutuhan sosial, dan menghasilkan nilai-nilai budaya bangsa. Di era globalisasi ini, minat dan pengetahuan generasi muda terhadap olahraga tradisional masih terbatas, sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi kembali terhadap pengetahuannya sebagai landasan dalam menetapkan tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berbasis wawancara yang diberikan kepada 24 siswa kelas VII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase siswa Kelas VII UPT SMP Negeri 016 Nagasaribu V Humbang Hasundutan yang mampu mengikuti program pendidikan jasmani mencapai angka tertinggi baru yaitu 58,33%. Satu siswa (4,17%) masuk dalam kategori “sangat rendah”, dua siswa (8,33%) masuk dalam kategori “rendah”, empat belas siswa (58,33%) masuk dalam kategori “semang”, empat siswa (16,67%) masuk dalam kategori “baik”, dan tiga siswa (12,50%) masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”.
