Abstract

The non-linear load on the power system has made the sinusoidal wave flowing in the system become very distorted which is expressed by the percentage of harmonic content, this study measured the harmonic content of current and voltage using ABB Power Meter M2M Mobus and PQA Fluke 435 measuring instruments. Furthemore, the measurent result are compared with the harmonic standards allowed based on the IEEE 519.1992 the maximum voltage distortion limit is 5% and the maximum current distortion limit is 20%. Measurement of THDI (%) and THDV (%) on each L₁, L₂, L₃. The result of this research show the state of maya tower harmonics by 2 tools namely ABB Power Meter M2M Mobus and PQA Fluke 435 starting at 10:00 – 16:00. Show the result that : 1. The shows the largest THDI and THDV on both tools are ABB Power Meter M2M Mobus THDI 18% and THDV 3%, PQA Fluke 435 THDI 19,3% and THDV 3,09%. 2. The difference in THDV measured by ABB Power Meter M2M Mobus and PQA Fluke 435 is around 0,09% while the difference in THDI measured by ABB Power Meter M2M Mobus and PQA Fluke 435 is around 1,3%. 3. THDV and THDI measured by both tools, namely ABB Power Meter M2M Mobus and PQA Fluke 435 at Pondok Indah Residences building right in the virtual LVMSB maya tower, are still included in the safe radar in the IEEE 519.1992 standard, namely THDV <5% and THDI <20%. With the condition of the electrical load at Pondok Indah Residences, it is recommended to review the LVMSB itself if necessary it would be better to install harmonic filter so that %THDI and %THDV are in a safe zone

Abstract

ABSTRACT Language literacy skills are one of the skills in language learning that are very important for students to have. However, in fact, the level of language literacy skills of students, especially in learning Indonesian, is still relatively low, so quality learning is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics, practicality and effectiveness of learning from the development of learning devices through the PjBL model to improve language literacy in elementary schools. The procedures in this study consisted of planning, implementation, and assessment. The sample in this study were fifth grade students of SDN Banjaranyar 03 as the experimental class and fifth grade students of SDN Banjaranyar 02 as the control class. The research instruments consisted of learning devices, observation and assessment instruments. Qualitative data collection was carried out by interviewing research subjects, questionnaires /observations and documentation. While quantitative data were collected by conducting a language literacy ability test. Data analysis techniques include learning quality analysis to analyze the validity, practicality of learning devices, implementation and learning assessment results. Quantitative data analysis includes normality tests, homogeneity, average similarity, and hypothesis testing. Qualitative data analysis was carried out through 4 stages, namely data of validity,reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the average value of the validity of the learning device reached 80.89% (good), the average value of practicality 81.50% (good) and the average effectiveness of learning implementation reached 85.98% (very good). From the hypothesis test, the results showed that the language literacy skills of students through the PjBL learning model achieved classical completeness of more than 75%, the average value of students' literacy skills in learning using the PjBL model exceeded the KKM, the proportion of students' language literacy skills in the experimental class was better than the control class, the average language literacy skills of students in the experimental class were better than the control class, the average increase in students' language literacy skills in the experimental class was greater than the control class. It can be concluded that learning with the PjBL model is quality learning in improving students' language literacy skills.

Abstract

Advances in renewable energy sources have led to the development of more powerful power plants using fewer fossil fuels to protect the environment and reduce the amount of greenhouse gases produced. Some of the most common renewable energy sources that have been developed are water, sun, wind and biomass. In this research, an analysis was carried out on how water flow from the regional drinking water company (PDAM) can produce electrical energy. System design, system work and analysis of the effectiveness of the pico hydro type hydroelectric power generation system using household PDAM water discharge. The method is carried out by installing branching pipes, namely the channel leading to the generator and the channel leading to the residence. The author's research objectives are divided into three, namely measuring water discharge at 4 times, namely morning, afternoon, evening and night, calculating voltage, current and electrical power, and determining the battery charge at these 4 times. The results obtained are a water discharge of 7.6 liters/minute with the largest electric current at night being 0.04A, the 5Ah battery charging time is 125 hours, this charging will not continue as long as the use of PDAM water and free electrical energy stored in the battery from a 12V marine generator. It can be concluded that night is the right time to charge the battery.

Abstract

This qualitative study focused on reporting online teaching and learning English writing and identifying the reasons beyond learning loss in the pandemic. It focused on 50 third-grade students, 4 English teachers, and 5 parents at an upper secondary school level in Sukabumi. They were selected purposively. The instruments used were questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results revealed that online learning significantly changed the teaching preparation and process. Teachers and students had to adapt to new pedagogical approaches, from face-to-face to online classes. Effective online English learning requires well-structured, scheduled, and coordinated learning activities to enhance effectiveness. The pandemic posed challenges to online learning, including technological issues, a lack of discipline, and creative activities. English learners faced difficulties such as collaborative planning, accessibility issues, and multimedia resource use, whereas parents and teachers faced difficulties in supervising and managing work schedules and providing support. Online education had a significant impact on English learning, enhancing interaction through complicated materials and addressing the lack of face-to-face interaction and internet connectivity.

Abstract

The use of environmentally unfriendly chemicals (refrigerants) in Air Conditioners (AC) can damage theozone layer in the earth's atmosphere which has an impact on global warming. Therefore, an environmentallyfriendly cooling system is needed in the application of the Thermo Electric Cooler (TEC) cooling moduletechnology. TEC when supplied with DC voltage (direct current) one side will become hot, while the otherside will be cold, to maximize the cooling process, the hot side of TEC must be lowered as low as possibleby using a fan, heatsink and thermal paste (thermal grease). Using 6 pieces of TEC 12 V 6A, dimensions 40x 40 mm and 4 mm thick. TECs are arranged in parallel and electricity is arranged in series. TEC when thepower supply is connected to an electric current source, operating the 6 TECs attached to the heatsinkarranged in parallel and in series will cause one side to cool down (heat absorbed) and the other side tobecome hot (heat released). What causes the cold side of TEC to cool is the flow of electrons from a higherenergy level to a lower energy level. To find out the temperature of the Peltier cold results using a DHT22sensor with an Arduino microcontroller with a programmed temperature that automatically turns off and on.For the breaker or automatic switch using a 5-volt relay. the use of air conditioners per day (6 hours) issubject to tariffs Rp. 3,212 and the use of air conditioners for a month (30 days) every day the use of 6 hoursis subject to tariffs Rp. 96,360, so as to enjoy a safe and comfortable atmosphere by using environmentallyfriendly and low-cost technology.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the use of songs as a learning media to enhance students' ability to write descriptive texts. The research employed qualitative methods with a descriptive design. The participants were 9th-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun Indramayu. Data were collected through diagnostic tests, final tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed that the use of songs as a learning media positively impacted students' ability to write descriptive texts. The students' average scores significantly improved after incorporating songs into the learning process. Songs not only helped enhance text structure and vocabulary but also made the learning process more enjoyable and motivated students to engage more actively in their learning. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation, either partially or simultaneously, of the students’ sentence structure mastery (X1) and critical thinking (X2) towards their expository writing skills (Y). The research was conducted at SDN Wilayah Binaan I Makassar, East Jakarta, for the academic year of 2019/2020. This study was a quantitative approach with a written test survey method that applied correlational techniques (connectedness). The study took the samples through cluster random sampling technique. The results of the analysis showed that (1) there was a strong correlation of the students’ sentence structure mastery and expository writing skills; (2) there was a strong correlation of the students’ critical thinking skills and expository writing skills; and (3) there was a very strong correlation of the students’ sentence structure mastery and critical thinking skills towards their expository writing skills.

Abstract

This study employed a quantitative descriptive survey design to examine preschool teachers’ perceptions of interventions for children with disabilities in rural areas of Banten, Indonesia. Data were collected from 62 preschool teachers using a 25-item questionnaire covering five domains: understanding of disability, early identification, intervention planning, classroom implementation, and evaluation. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to interpret the data. The findings indicate that teachers generally hold positive attitudes toward inclusive education and recognise the importance of differentiated learning approaches. However, notable gaps remain in teachers’ practical competence and confidence, particularly in developing Individual Learning Plans and implementing interventions independently in classroom settings. Professional collaboration was also perceived as limited due to insufficient guidance and access to specialist support. These findings highlight the need for targeted professional development to strengthen teachers’ capacity to implement inclusive practices effectively, especially in rural contexts where access to training and support remains constrained. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei kuantitatif deskriptif untuk mengkaji persepsi guru PAUD terhadap intervensi bagi anak dengan disabilitas di wilayah pedesaan Banten. Data dikumpulkan dari 62 guru PAUD melalui kuesioner berisi 25 butir yang mencakup lima aspek: pemahaman tentang anak dengan disabilitas, identifikasi dini, perencanaan intervensi, pelaksanaan di kelas, dan evaluasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru umumnya memiliki sikap positif terhadap pendidikan inklusif dan memahami pentingnya pembelajaran yang beragam. Namun, masih terdapat kesenjangan pada kompetensi praktis dan kepercayaan diri, khususnya dalam penyusunan rencana pembelajaran individual dan pelaksanaan intervensi di kelas. Selain itu, kolaborasi profesional masih terbatas akibat kurangnya bimbingan dan akses terhadap dukungan. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya pelatihan profesional yang lebih terarah untuk memperkuat kapasitas guru dalam menerapkan praktik pendidikan inklusif secara efektif, terutama di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Quizizz-based gamified instruction and students’ learning motivation in improving reading literacy among fifth-grade elementary students. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the research involved 46 students divided into an experimental group using Quizizz and a control group taught conventionally. Reading literacy tests were administered before and after the intervention, and motivation data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring interest, attention, persistence, and participation. The findings reveal significant improvement in both groups, as indicated by paired sample t-test results. The experimental group achieved higher posttest performance, marked by an increase in minimum achievement and a higher maximum score, suggesting stronger overall learning consistency. Although the control group showed a higher numerical gain due to the ceiling effect, the independent sample t-test demonstrated a significant difference between the two groups, confirming the substantial influence of Quizizz on learning quality. High motivation scores, especially in interest and attention, further support the role of gamified learning in enhancing students’ affective engagement. The study concludes that Quizizz and learning motivation simultaneously contribute to improved reading literacy. The results emphasize the relevance of gamification as a strategic pedagogical tool for literacy instruction in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims: to develop and determine the level of validity and practicality of the developed waterpedia educational game media in improving the reading comprehension and responsibility skills of sixth grade elementary school students. This research and development refers to the step developed by the Borg and Gall covering ten steps, that is: information collection, planning, initial product development, initial field test, initial product revision, primary field test, product revision, operational field test, and revision of the final product, and dissemination and implementation. Initial field test subjects are student and teacher of fifth grade at the Trewung State Elementary School. The primary field test subjects are student and teacher of sixth grade at Karanglo 1 State Elementary School. The operational field test subjects are 26 students and teacher of VI-A grade at Karanglo II State Elementary School as a control class and 26 students and teacher of VI-B grade at Karanglo II State Elementary School as an experimental class. Data collection is carried out using a product assessment sheet, a teacher's response questionnaire, student’s response questionnaire, a responsible attitude questionnaire, and pre-test and post-test question. Data analysis uses independent sample t-test and paired sample t-tests at level of 0.05 significance. The result of this research shows that waterpedia educational media games are worthy and effectively in improving reading the reading comprehension and responsibility skills of fifth grade at Karanglo II State Elementary School, Pasuruan. The educational media worthiness of the game can be seen from the assessment of the materials expert and media expert on the "very good" category. Teacher and student responses to the educational media games usage indicate that educational games help in the learning process.
