<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengkajian terhadap beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi proses perpindahan tenaga kerja dari sektor pertanian ke sektor pertambangan akibat maraknya kegiatan pembukaan industri pertambangan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan multi-nasional. Faktor-faktor tersebut dibagi ke dalam 2 kelompok, yaitu faktor internal yang terdiri dari pendidikan, status perkawinan, keterampilan dan pengalaman bekerja. Sedangkan faktor eksternal terdiri dari ketersediaan sumberdaya lahan dan tingkat upah. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawncara mendalam (depth interview) dengan informan kunci (key informant) dan beberapa responden lainya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendidikan dan status perkawinan berpengaruh terhadap proses transformasi. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yang berpengaruh adalah lebih tinggi dan pastinya upah yang diterima pekerja tambang dibandingkan pendapatan yang diperoleh dari sektor pertanian, serta jaminan kesehatan yang tidak tersedia di sektor pertanian. Kondisi ini menyebabkan hampir seluruh pemuda tani di desa Geresa yang memiliki ijazah minimal SLTA memilih untuk bekerja di sektor pertambangan di bandingkan bertahan di sektor pertanian. Kondisi ini menyebabkan ketergantungan masyarakat yang tinggi terhadap kegiatan di sektor pertambangan. Ancaman yang mungkin timbul adalah jika sewaktu-waktu perusahaan menghentikan kegiatannya akan menyebabkan seagian besar masyarakat kehilangan matapencaharian mereka. Dukungan dan perhatian pemerintah maupun pihak perusahaan tambang terhadap pengembangan sektor pertanian sangat diperlukan untuk tetap memberikan perhatian terhadap berbagai upaya peningkatan produksi pertanian.]]>

<![CDATA[This was a three-month study, undertaken to explore how a village, specifically the village of Tapulaga, allocated funds given by the national government for community empowerment projects. Tapulaga is one of the Soropia villages in Konawe Regency, in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Analysis of the use of the Village Fund was carried out during the period 2017-2018. Data and information collected in this study were conducted by interviewing key informants (snowball random sampling). Key informants who were considered to have information on the procedures, processes, and use of village funds transferred to the Village Cash Account from the District Cash Account. The first key informant was determined by the village head, further information came from the Village Consultative Body (BPD), the Village Community Empowerment Institute (LPM), community leaders and the Tapulaga Village community. The results showed that during the period 2017-2018 the Village Fund in Tapulaga Village was mostly used only to build a pier; very little allocation was used for community empowerment programs. Although the construction of the pier is closely related to the livelihoods of the local population who are mostly fishermen. It appears that the complexity of the planning and the high cost have resulted in construction which does not function as envisaged. The disbursement of government funding should simply be overseen by the sub-district government, or at least there should have been some checks and balances so the money would not have been wasted.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan penambangan pasir di Desa Sombano telah barlangsung dalam waktu yang cukup lama dan telah berakibat langsung pada kondisi pantai. Salah satu dampak yang terjadi akibat penambangan itu ialah abrasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penambangan pasir terhadap abrasi pantai di Desa Sombano Kecamatan Kaledupa Kabupaten Wakatobi. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sombano Kecamatan Kaledupa Kabupaten Wakatobi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas penambangan pasir pantai dapat menimbulkan abrasi pada pesisir pantai di Desa Sombano. Abrasi pantai yang terjadi mengakibatkan perubahan garis pantai, kerusakan dan vegetasi di sekitar pantai, tanggul rusak akibat aktivitas penambangan pasir, dan kekhawatiran masyarakat akan terjadi kenaikan air laut dipemukiman. ]]>

<![CDATA[Pandemi COVID-19 telah memukul perekonomian nelayan Sama Bajo di Kelurahan Bungkutoko, karena adanya kebijakan pembatasan gerak (physical distancing) oleh pemerintah daerah Sulawesi Tenggara. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi adalah minimnya informasi yang sampai di masyarakat Sama Bajo terkait COVID-19. Adanya nilai- nilai inward looking orang Bajo yakni nilai-nilai Sama-Bagai menyebabkan informasi terkait COVID-19 dan protokol kesehatan untuk mencegah penularan tidak sepenuhnya dipahami oleh komunitas nelayan Sama Bajo. Menyadari tantangan pencegahan COVID-19 di era new normal, pengabdian masyarakat ini akan medesiminasikan informasi terkait COVID-19 dan protokol kesehatan dalam bentuk media komunikasi visual poster berbahasa Sama Bajo untuk memudahkan penyampaian informasi terkait COVID-19 di era new normal dan mengurangi resiko nelayan Sama Bajo di Kelurahan Bungkutoko agar terhindar dari penyakit COVID-19. Tim pengabdian telah melaksanakan kegiatan diseminasi informasi melalui media visual berupa poster dengan menggunakan bahasa daerah Sama Bajo sebagai unsur vital untuk meningkatkan efektivitas media tersebut dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap positif terhadap pencegahan COVID-19. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di komunitas Sama Bajo Kelurahan Bungkutoko pada hari Rabu tanggal 29 Juli 2020, dengan jumlah sasaran kegiatan sebanyak 30 KK. Untuk menguatkan sikap positif untuk melawan COVID-19, tim pengabdian selain melakukan kegiatan penempelan poster dari rumah ke rumah, tim juga melakukan penyuluhan singkat dan pembagian paket alat pelindung diri. Untuk mekanisme evaluasi, tim pengabdian akan melakukan penelitian terkait efektivitas media visual poster dalam mendesiminasikan informasi kepada komunitas nelayan Sama Bajo yang cenderung eksklusif dan inward looking.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to develop cocoa agroindustry institutions in Southeast Sulawesi Case Study at the Tinete Prosperous Justice LEM in Kolaka Timur District, Aere District, Tinete Village. The study was conducted in June 2014 until June 2015. Determination of the sample is a case study at the Tinete Prosperous Justice LEM in Kolaka Timur District, Aere District, Tinete Village. The method of data collection in this study was carried out by library research methods and field surveys. The institution of cocoa agroindustry was analyzed using descriptive analysis. Respondents for institutional development used five experts consisting of cocoa farmers, the cocoa processing industry (LEM Sejahtera), financial institutions (banking), bureaucratic elements (Regional Government and the Office of Plantation and Horticulture), R & D and Universities. The results showed that LEM Sejahtera needs to build collaboration between members of the Prosperous LEM in the form of a Fermented Cocoa Processing Business Unit in the raw material production center developed in research to address the quality problems of Southeast Sulawesi cocoa. The pattern of institutional linkages as a strategy for agroindustry development is the relationship between farmers, LEM Sejahtera agroindustry management and banking. Farmers as raw material suppliers are also agro-industry players through the management of Prosperous LEM as a productive business group and banks as financial institutions that assist in the capital.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the design of superior product development models for processed cocoa in Southeast Sulawesi. The study was conducted in June 2014 until June 2015. Determination of the sample is a case study at the Tinete Prosperous Justice LEM in Kolaka Timur District, Aere District, Tinete Village. The method of data collection in this study was carried out by library research methods and field surveys. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the results of the analysis indicate that the key criteria in selecting superior processed cocoa products are products that are economically capable of providing greater commodity value, availability of skilled human resources in the village, market guarantee for products, availability of raw materials and easy access to technology.]]>

<![CDATA[This research departs from the phenomenon of the enactment of a Sustainable Food House Area Program (KRPL) policy for food diversification and community nutrition through optimizing women's empowerment. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of women farmers in the KRPL Program. This research was conducted in Jampaka Village, Kulisusu Subdistrict, North Buton Regency, which was selected purposively which was conducted in January-February 2018. This study involved female farmers who were involved in the KRPL Program. The population in this study were all female farmers involved in the KRPL Program totaling 20 people, the sampling was done by census method so that the entire population became respondents. This study was designed as a quantitative study using a percentage formula which then data is presented in table form, to be interpreted qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of women farmers in the KRPL Program in Jampaka Village, Kulisusu Subdistrict, North Buton Regency are of high category, which is due to the age of the adult category, high farming experience, moderate family dependence, and mentoring assistance from the time of socialization to program implementation.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this investigation is to (1) determine the identity of agricultural advisor in Kendari City; and (2) knowing the social capital of extension workers in carrying out extension activities in the Kendari City. The samples in the study were all agricultural extension workers in Kendari City. The data analysis used in this study Is a descriptive quantitative analysis that is processed using the class interval formula. The results of this study showed that the social capital of Kendari City is generally in the good category. This can also be seen from the aspects of trust, reciprocity and social interaction are in the good category. This means that agricultural extension workers in Kendari City have implemented the elements of social capital well.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by a cooperation agreement for the profit sharing system in paddy rice farming between land owners and land cultivators which is generally carried out only orally on the basis of trust, without witnesses, not registered by the village head, not ratified by the sub-district and no law binding agreements. The purpose of the study was to determine the profit sharing mechanism in paddy rice farming in Bou village, Lambandia district, East Kolaka regency and find out what obstacles were faced in the implementation of profit sharing for paddy rice farming in Bou village, Lambandia District, East Kolaka regency. The determination of this location is carried out intentionally or purposively with considerations, there are paddy rice farming activities that are managed with a profit-sharing system, profit sharing agreements are still carried out orally, and Lambandia district produces the largest paddy rice production in East Kolaka district. The population in this study was 21 land owners and paddy paddy cultivators in Bou village. The samples in this study amounted to 15 land owners and 15 land cultivators who carried out profit sharing in the cultivation of paddy rice farming. The data analysis used in this study is descriptive. Descriptive analysis is an analysis that explains as a whole the information obtained from the field obtained from interviews and uses tables that are easy to understand, interpret, and compile and present data into clear information where the necessary data comes from the results of answers to questions asked to respondents in the form of questionnaires.]]>

<![CDATA[Communities who lack the power and ability to manage existing resources are very vulnerable to poverty and find it challenging to achieve a better quality of life. The purpose of this study was to formulate a model of community empowerment in underdeveloped villages in the coastal area of South Konawe Regency. The empowerment model of rural communities in coastal regions is designed by strengthening through the institutional system that must be played by the economic institutions in the village. The town is empowered to have alternative expertise so that financial resources are not focused on just one activity. The important thing that needs to be done is that empowerment activities for disadvantaged rural communities in coastal areas require collective action based on participatory, self-supporting, partnership, and sustainability approaches. The following needs to be supported by policies on the construction of rural environmental facilities and infrastructure, provision and strengthening of social and economic institutions in the village, improvement of human resource competencies, namely technical and managerial skills.]]>
