Abstract

Model diversifikasi usaha ikan Nila-Bandeng Organik yang dikembangkan merupakan bentuk wisata pemancingan sebagai solusi permasalahan petani tambak di Kota Kendari.Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah (1) untuk mendesain model pengelolaan usaha tambak berbasis wisata melalui diversifikasi usaha ikan Nila-Bandeng Organik (2) untuk mengetahui kelayakan finansial diversifikasi usaha ikan Nila-Bandeng Organik sebagai wisata pemancingan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus petani tambak bandeng di Kelurahan Anduonohu Kota Kendaridengan menggunakan analisis kelayakan finansial NBCR, PP, NVP dan IRR.Hasil penelitian diperoleh suatu model usaha berbasis wisata pemancingan memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dengan pertimbangan kompetitor, spesifikasi, desain dan inovasi,manajemen (pelayanan, kenyamanan dan keamanan), harga dan kualitas.Hasil analisislayak secara finansial dengan nilai NBCR = 1,12, PP = 2 tahun, NVP = 8.285.599dan IRR = 21%.Terima kasih kepada Ristek Dikti atas dukungan dana melalui Skim PPUPIK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the dimensions of the business performance of Muslim entrepreneurs in Southeast Sulawesi to running a sustainable and competitive advantage. The specific objective is to find a model of alternative business performance measurement of Muslim entrepreneurs which is the development model of Balanced Scorecard by incorporating the factors of shariah such as worship and lawful approach. The method used in this research is Exploratory Factor analysis. The sampling method is non-probability sampling with 120 samples collected through survey questionnaires. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that three main factors determine business performance; integrated business strategy factors, internal business targets& encouragement, and Islamic business practice. Thus the integration of the business orientation with the material approach to business practices based on Islamic business principles such as halal product orientation and worship motivation can improve the performance of competitive and sustainable SMEs. Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya realitas pada kawasan pesisir Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara terkhusus pada usaha rumput laut, dimana hasil produksi rumput lautnya masih dipasarkan dalam bentuk mentah atau bentuk kering sehingga tidak memiliki nilai tambah. Untuk itu pendirian suatu agroindustri rumput laut harus dipertimbangkan dan direncanakan dengan baik. Salah satu aspek yang memerlukan perhatian adalah pemilihan lokasi yang tepat untuk pendirian agroindustri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan prioritas kriteria penentuan lokasi dan menganalisis lokasi strategis untuk pendirian agroindustri rumput laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey pakar, dimana responden pakar meliputi pelaku usaha agroindustri rumput laut, pakar dari Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan, Dinas Perdagangan dan Perindustrian serta akademisi. Data dianalisis menggunakan Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prioritas kriteria penentuan lokasi yang strategis dalam pendirian agroindustri rumput laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara secara berurutan adalah ketersediaan bahan baku, air tawar, infrastruktur dan kemudahan aksesibilitas. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut selanjutnya didapatkan alternatif lokasi paling strategis untuk pendirian agroindustri rumput laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara yaitu Kabupaten Konawe Selatan sebagai prioritas pertama, Kabupaten Buton prioritas kedua, Kabupaten Kolaka prioritas ketiga, Kota Bau-Bau prioritas keempat dan Kabupaten Bombana prioritas kelima.This research was motivated by the reality that in the coastal region of Southeast Sulawesi Province, especially in the seaweed business. Seaweed production in the Southeast Sulawesi Province mostly marketed in raw or dry form, so has no added value. Therefore, establishing a seaweed agro-industry should be considered and be prepared properly. One aspect that requires attention is selection of seaweed agro-industrial location. This study aims to determine criteria priority of seaweed agroindustry location and to analyze  strategic location of seaweed agro-industries in the Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study used an expert survey method in which the expert respondents include business actors on seaweed agroindustry, officers of Fisheries and Marine affairs Industry and Trade affairs as well as academician. Data were analyzed using Exponential Comparison Method. The results showed that criteria priority for location of seaweed agro-industries sequentially were availability of raw materials, fresh water, infrastructure and accessibility. Based on these criteria, several regencies were then prioritized as the strategic location for the seaweed agroindustry in Southeast Sulawesi Province namely Konawe Selatan Regency as the first priority, Buton Regency as the second priority, Kolaka Regency as the third priority, Bau-Bau City as the fourth priority and Bombana Regency as the fifth priority.

Abstract

Pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat dipedesaan terkhusus pada usaha-usaha pada bidang perikanan budidaya tidak terlepas dari berbagai macam permasalahan baik yang bersifat teknis maupun yang terkait dengan manajemen dan tatakelola usaha. Beberapa permasalahan UKM mitra program PPPUD ini adalah terbatasnya jenis ikan dan kualitas ikan yang dimiliki mitra, ketersediaan pakan yang aman dan cukup, tingginya tingkat kematian dan rendahnya produktivitas kolam yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi ketersediaan ikan yang di produksi. Permasalahan lainnya dari aspek adalah belum dilakukannya proses perencanaan yang baik, tidak dimilikinya manajemen pengelolaan usaha dan keuangan dan tidak adanya sistem penjaminanm mutu produk dan evaluasi usaha. Metode dalam pemecahan masalah adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan manajemen usaha, manajemen poduksi, manajemen keuangan serta pemasaran. Dalam pelaksaan program dilakukan berbagai praktek secara bersama sesuai dengan tahapan yang direncanakan dengan melibatkan mahasiswa yang terlebih dahulu diberi pembekalan kemampuan sesuai tema program. Hasil yang dicapai adalah UKM mitra telah mengetahui dan dapat melaksanakan metode budidaya ikan secara intensif dan organik, memiliki kualitas ikan yang lebih baik, terjadi peningkatan kemandirian UKM baik dari segi penyediaan benih, proses produksi maupun dalam penyediaan pakan, serta terjadi peningkatan nilai aset dan omset UKM, nilai peningkatan aset 20% dan nilai peningkatan omset 25%. Kata kunci: Budidaya, Ikan, Air Tawar, Wisata, dan Pemancingan ABSTRACT The economic development of the community in the countryside, especially in the aquaculture business, is inseparable from technical, business management and governance problems. SME as the PPUD partner was found has several challenges such as severely limited of fish species groups, quality of the fish, availability of safe and sufficient feed, high mortality rate and low of fish pond’ productivity which affects the availability of fish production. Referring to the business management, several problems were also found such as the SME does not have a good planning yet, lack of business and financial management as well as product quality assurance and evaluation system. To overcome the problems, the team of PPUD conducted several programs namely providing a training in business, production and financial management as well as marketing. The programs were carried through practicing in accordance with the planned stages by involving several students who were already given a training according to the theme of the programs. The results achieved from this program were the SME as the partner of PPUD program, are able to comprehend and carry out intensive and organic fish farming methods and understand how to have better fish quality. Moreover, there is an increasing in SME’s independence such as seed supply, production process and in the supply of feed. Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are one of the economic strength pillars of the community because their management involves the community directly, both in providing production facilities, labors, and its marketing chain. However, some SMEs failed in the middle of their business road or are unable to develop. This condition also occurs in SME of Al-Barkah Laying HenFarm. The purpose of implementing this program is to increase business capacity both from the production and management aspects of the Al-Barkah layer chicken business. The method used in overcoming these problems and achieving goals is by providing direct training, guidance, and application of science and technology. All activities were carried out jointly by the owners and employees of UKM Partners, guided by the implementation team. After implementing the program, the SME partner now: (1) understands and can conduct business planning; (2) can carry out business effectiveness and efficiency; (3) can increase understanding of the importance of order in the livestock business process; (4) Understands the importance of hygiene and cage sanitation; and (5) can increase the chicken health, egg production, and farmer income. The conclusion from the program implementation is that the Al-Barkah layer chicken business has increased production by 15% and an increase in business efficiency by 12% as a result of improvements in production and business management aspects.

Abstract

Abstrak. Desa Cialam Jaya adalah desa yang memiliki yang memiliki potensi pengembangan perikanan budidaya air tawar sebagai usaha unggulan menopang kesejahteraan masyarakat.  Namun demikian, saat ini potensi tersebut belum dikelola dengan baik sehingga belum memberikan dampat manfaat  bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Permasalahan pengelolaan budidaya ikan yang dihadapi masyarakat  Desa Cialam Jaya adalah (1) Kolam-kolam ikan yang dimiliki masyarakat belum dikelola dengan baik; (2) Rendahnya produktivitas kolam budidaya; (3) Terbatasnya sumber perolehan bibit ikan yang berkualitas; dan (4)  Minimnya kemampuan manajemen usaha. Metode yang di gunakan untuk memecahkan permasalan dan mencapai target luaran adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan budidaya ikan air tawar secara organik, pelatihan manajemen usaha, manajemen poduksi, manajemen keuangan serta pemasaran. Hasil yang dicapai pada tahun pertama pelaksanaan program dari 3 (tiga) tahun yang direncanakn adalah terwujudnya perbaikan pengelolaan kolam budidaya dengan baik, kolam lebih tertata dan teratur sehingga siklus produksi dan pemeliharaan dapat sesuai dengan ketentuan budidaya yang ideal, terwujud peningkatan produktivitas, dan peningkatan efisensi. Hasil lainnya adalah telah tersediannya indukan ikan KOI yang bersertifikat sehingga mutu dan kuantitas benih ikan terkhusus ikan koi dapat terjamin.  Peningkatan jumlah aset mitra pada tahun pertama ini sebesar 20%. Kata kunci: Desa Cialam Jaya, Aquaculture, Blue Economi

Abstract

Research aim: This paper aims to identify important influences on the company performance of Muslim business owners in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, using a balanced scorecard development approach incorporating Islamic values and business practices.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research design used a quantitative approach called Exploratory Factor analysis through SPSS. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with 120 samples (Muslim entrepreneurs), with data collected through a survey questionnaire.Research findings: Three significant factors determining the business performance of Muslim entrepreneurs: strategy and internal business processes, business orientation, external stimuli, and Islamic business practices. Approaches to Islamic business practice are critical for improving Muslim entrepreneurs’ company performance.Theoretical contribution/ Originality: This finding is one of the new models of the balanced scorecard theory to measure and improve the performance of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs.Practitioner/Policy implication: Integration of business orientation with general approaches and sharia business practices such as halal product orientation and hard work can improve the business performance of Indonesian Muslim entrepreneurs.Research limitation/Implication: This study only investigated the performance of Muslim entrepreneurs in 7 districts/cities in Southeast Sulawesi with a sample of 120 Muslim MSMEs.

Abstract

Agribusiness Tourism is a business managed by maximizing tourism-based culinary business activities. The main objective of these community activities is to accelerate the process of developing entrepreneurship oriented to local culinary products. This effort involves students of the Agribusiness Study Program Faculty of Agriculture and Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI). This activity provides experience and job opportunities for students open employment opportunities for the community and provide culinary needs in the form of traditional foods of Southeast Sulawesi (sinonggi) and healthy, fresh and delicious seafood for customers. The method of carrying out the activities consists of socializing, training, providing infrastructure and facilities, promotion, and marketing. This activity is carried out in the area of ​​embankments that were previously less productive with relatively low income. The location is in the Poasia District of Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. To accelerate the process of developing entrepreneurship, the activity is designed by changing a traditional embankment into an agribusiness tourism specific to local culinary tourism by designing a gazebo building as a place to enjoy culinary menu orders. The location has its characteristics with the design of the place based on agribusiness decorated with ornamental plants, pollution-absorbing plants, hydroponic plants, and organic vegetable plants. Visitors can enjoy the natural scenery through the embankment garden design in the form of selfie spots for visitors. The results of the implementation of the activity are in the form of a business unit "Culinary Tourism" based on culinary tourism has been opened since June 2019 by providing sinonggi menu packages and various seafood products.  ---  Wisata Agribisnis merupakan usaha yang dikelola dengan memaksimalkan kegiatan bisnis kuliner berbasis wisata. Tujuan utama pelaksanaan kegiatan masyarakat ini adalah mempercepat proses pengembangan kewirausahaan yang berorientasi pada produk kuliner lokal. Usaha ini melibatkan mahasiswa Program Studi Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian dan Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam (FEBI). Kegiatan ini  memberi pengalaman dan kesempatan kerja bagi mahasiswa, membuka lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat serta menyediakan kebutuhan kuliner berupa makanan tradional khas Sulawesi Tenggara  (sinonggi) dan sea food yang sehat, segar dan nikmat bagi pelanggan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penyediaan prasarana dan sarana, promosi serta pemasaran. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di areal tambak yang sebelum nya kurang produktif dengan pendapatan yang relatif rendah. Lokasi berada di Kecamatan Poasia Kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ditujukan untuk percepatan proses pengembangan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan di desain dengan mengubah tambak tradisional menjadi sebuah wisata agribisnis spesifik wisata kuliner lokal. Lokasi mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dengan desain bangunan gasebo berbasis agribisnis dengan dihiasi tanaman hias, tanaman penyerap polusi, tanaman hidroponik dan tanaman sayuran organik. Pengunjung dapat menikmati pemandangan alam melalui desain taman tambak berupa spot selfi bagi pengunjung. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah terbentuk satu unit usaha ”Wisata Agibisnis” berbasis wisata kuliner yang telah resmi dibuka  sejak juni 2019 sampai sekarang dengan menyediakan produk paket menu sinonggi dan aneka sea food.

Abstract

The main activity of pond land in Wisata Agribisnis is the cultivation of milkfish. However, to maximize the use of pond land, pond farmers plant dragon fruit plants to add value to land management. The aim of this research is to analyze the value-added ratio on marginal land. This research method is a case study of marginal land use in agribusiness tourism, with qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data are analyzed with income analysis and value-added analysis. Qualitative data describe the marginal land use of embankments. The research results of dragon fruit planting in the marginal areas of pond embankments showed: 1) dragon fruit plants do not pollute pond water, this is because the structure of dragon fruit plants is similar to cactus plants, 2) full sunlight in ponds is very suitable for dragon fruit plants, 3) plants dragon fruit is very tolerant of brackish water, 4) the taste of dragon fruit remains sweet in root conditions close to brackish water, 5) dragon fruit plants continue to bear fruit even though planted in marginal land at the embankments of the pond. The results of the research on marginal land use of pond embankments by planting dragon fruit plants added value of Rp. 17,302,857, with a ratio of 85%. Pond farmers can take advantage of the marginal land of their ponds by planting dragon fruit plants.

Abstract

The fisheries sector plays a vital role in developing and providing business and employment opportunities to support the community and regional economy. Kekar tilapia is one of the freshwater fish farming commodities in the fisheries business sector and relatively new tilapia variety with the advantages of a thick (stocky) and a more comprehensive body shape with a smaller head than others tilapia. This case study aimed to determine the income and feasibility of kekar tilapia farming in the South Konawe Regency, explicitly studying the UKM Empang Sari (Small and Medium Enterprise/SME of Empang Sari). Research variables included cost components (fixed and variable costs) and revenue components (production and selling price). The data were analyzed using income and business feasibility analyses. The study results reveal that tilapia fish farming in South Konawe Regency is profitable and feasible, with IDR 4.355.000 per production cycle or IDR 13.066.000 per year with an R/C ratio of 1.6. Hence, it is suggested that UKM Empang Sari increase the kekar tilapia cultivation.
