Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of sample comparison composition on moisture content, ash content, calorific value, mass density, combustion time and rate of combustion of biobriquettes. In this briquette, the samples tested are materials from processed waste products of cassava peel and rice husks with tapioca adhesive. This study uses six stages, namely the preparation stage, drying stage, mixing stage, combustion stage, and quality test stage. In testing the quality of briquettes, three samples were used in each briquetting test, namely samples A, B, and C, each of which was a ratio of cassava peel and rice husk of 10:90, 20:80, and 30:70. The results showed that the lowest water content was found in the ratio between cassava peel and rice husk 10:90, the lowest ash content was found in biobriquettes with a ratio of cassava peel and rice husk 10:90, the highest heating value was found in a ratio of 10:90, mass density the highest is in the ratio of 10:90, the fastest burning rate is in the ratio of 10:90, the longest burning time is in the ratio of cassava peel and rice husks of 10:90. So that the comparison composition of quality cassava peels and rice husks is if the addition of the composition of the rice husk samples is more in number than the composition of the cassava peels.

Abstract

The learning process that uses learning models and approaches that involve the active role of students can improve students' abilities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the physics e-book PBL model with a STEMI approach to improve students’ problem-solving abilities in terms of gender. In this quantitative study, a one group pretest-posttest approach was used. The research sample used was 55 class XI students of MA Hidayatullah Mataram, of which 25 were male students and 30 were female students. Collecting data on the effectiveness of using the problem-solving ability description instrument which consists of eight questions. Effectiveness data analysis used the N-Gain test and Rash model analysis. The results showed that male students dominated the IPSA-1 indicator (89.06) and IPSA-2 (68.23), while female students were more dominant in the IPSA-3 (89.19), IPSA-4 (76.35), and IPSA-5 (71.35). The results also showed that female students in all sub-subjects of work and energy had a higher average score than male students. In general, the results of the study also show that the PBL model physics e-book with the STEMI approach used in the learning process is effective in increasing the PSA of male and female students with an N-Gain score of 70.04.

Abstract

Pulau Lombok merupakan suatu daerah kecil yang berada pada perbatasan antara lempeng besar Asia dengan lempeng Australia sehingga pulau Lombok sangat rawan terhadap bencana gempa bumi. Tingkat kerusakan yang terjadi akibat gempa bumi bergantung dari kekuatan dan kualitas bangunan, kondisi geologi dan geotektonik serta percepatan getaran tanah maksimum wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis percepatan getaran tanah untuk memetakan kerawanan bencana gempa bumi menggunakan metode Fukushima Tanaka, Esteva, Dan Euclidean Distance di pulau Lombok. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder gempa bumi di pulau lombok bulan Juli-September 2018. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa nilai percepatan getaran tanah maksimum paling tinggi sebesar 100.810 gal yang berada di wilayah kabupaten Lombok Timur dan Lombok Utara. Sedangkan nilai percepatan getaran tanah maksimum paling kecil terjadi di daerah mataram dan sekitarnya dengan nilai 0,3603 gal. Dari ketiga rumusan, dapat dilihat bahwa nilai percepatan getaran tanah yang dihitung diwilayah pulau Lombok menggunakan metode Fukushima Tanaka adalah rumusan yang paling sesuai untuk menghitung nilai percepatan tanah di pulau Lombok. Hal itu dikarenakan nilai hasil percepatan getaran tanah dari Fukushima Tanaka hampir sama dengan nilai percepatan getaran tanah dari akselerograph.

Abstract

This study aims to develop effective and efficient contextual physics teaching materials for students and teachers in the Covid-19 pandemic. The teaching materials are based on virtual lab-based Android so that they can be used in any conditions, including when applying physical distancing protocols at school or study from home (SFH). The teaching materials in the form of this application makes it easy for students to access the content on their mobile phones even when they cannot connect to the internet. Also, this application is very easy for teachers to be used. The research method used is based on the 4D model, that is define, design, develop and disseminate. The teaching materials that have been developed passed the first stage test with a Very Good result. The validity test is assessed by expert validators. The subject material used in this study is limited to Reflection and Refraction of Light. The response of students using the teaching materials is Good. According to the students, the teaching materials are easy to use, motivate learning, and deem effective in its implementation

Abstract

The use of TPACK in 21st Century Science learning can facilitate teachers and students to be more active in learning and make it easier for students to have the expected 21st-century competencies. This study aims to identify and analyze TPACK research trends in 21st-century science learning in the form of TPACK documents, classification of journal rankings, classification of authors and their country of origin, and classification of keywords. This research is qualitative research. The data used in this study were obtained from documents indexed by Google Scholar from 2012-2022 using Publish or Perish and dimension.ai. Research procedures using PRISMA guidelines. Methods of data analysis using bibliometric analysis assisted by VOSviewer software. The results of the analysis show that the trend of writing TPACK articles in 21st Century Science learning has increased significantly from 2016 to 2020. Most journals that contain articles about TPACK in 21st Century Science learning are Educational and Information Technologies and Computers & Education. The results of the density mapping analysis show that the themes that are rarely researched are ICT investigation, curriculum, effectiveness, teacher knowledge, foreign language, teacher education, and TPACK instrument.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe Kindergarten Teachers' Perceptions of Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic in the City of Mataram. The research subjects were 12 teachers from kindergarten institutions in 6 sub-districts in Mataram City. Data collection methods are interviews, documentation, and observation. The research time starts from January to March 2021. Data analysis consists of presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results showed that technological devices as distance learning tools were used during the covid-19 pandemic; preparation of schedules, media, learning applications, learning tools prepared before learning begins; students are less focused when learning online, causing ineffective learning; the internet is less stable; and the role of parents is needed in assisting students during online learning at home.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance technological literacy and digital skills of prospective teachers through training on the development of educational teaching media based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly using ChatGPT. The participants consisted of 35 students from the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) and Physics Education (Tadris Fisika) study programs, who took part in a series of training sessions ranging from the introduction of AI concepts and hands-on practice using ChatGPT, to the creation of instructional media products. The implementation methods included participatory approaches, hands-on practice, and collaborative project work. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of AI technology and their ability to integrate ChatGPT into the development of learning materials. The participants responded very positively and expressed great enthusiasm for continuing to explore and develop AI-based teaching media in the future. This activity has made a tangible contribution in equipping future teachers with relevant competencies to meet the challenges of 21st-century education.
