Abstract

The integration of photovoltaic technology and solar air collector is named a photovoltaic thermal (PVT) system. PVT system generates electricity as pumping power to fan DC and produces thermal energy together with to cooling PV panel. The experimental with the indoor and outdoor evaluation of PVT solar air collector have been compared at the chosen solar intensity of 820 W/m2. The mass flow rate is range from 0.01 kg/s to 0.05 kg/s. The exergy and efficiency exergy accuracy of PVT solar air collector between indoor and outdoor evaluation are 98.42%, 98.11% respectively. The exergy and exergy efficiency comparison results indicated that the indoor and outdoor investigation is suitable.

Abstract

Instruction that focuses on remembering and understanding domains become one of the factors causing students' low ability on problem-solving skill (PSS) in physics. Discovery learning with a cognitive conflict approach becomes one of the solutions to solve this problem. This research aims at finding students' problem-solving skill improvement through discovery learning using the cognitive conflict approach. This research is a Research and Development. The lesson plan that has been developed was widely tried out in the two classes. Data collection of such improvement used to pretest and posttest result on problem-solving skill. The problem-solving indicators applied in this research refer to Docktor & Heller's indicator (2009), such as problems identification, physics description, and specific application of physics, mathematical procedure, and logical conclusion. Based on the N-gain analysis result, it was found that discovery learning using the cognitive conflict approach can improve students' problem skills. Moreover, the N-gain test result on every sub-material work, energy, work and energy conversion, and conservation of energy laws were included in the moderate and high improvement category. Likewise, every problem-solving skill indicator was included in moderate and high improvement categories.

Abstract

The educational curriculum facilitates students to improve their abilities in dealing with the 4.0 era, where students are asked to get used to solving problems, critically, and creatively. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) Learning Model Assisted by Interactive Multimedia to improve Creative Thinking Ability and Learning Outcomes of MAN 1 Mataram Students. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). Place and Time of Research The research was conducted at MAN 1 Mataram. The study was conducted from 12 February to 17 April 2022. The population in this study were all students of class X MAN 1 Mataram which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 64 people. The steps taken in experimental research are: (1) giving a pretest to both groups; (2) perform the treatment by applying the interactive multimedia assisted SSCS model in the experimental group and the SSCS learning model in the control group; (3) give posttest to both groups. The research design used a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The analytical technique used is SPSS consisting of Levene univariate homogeneity test, Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test. Furthermore, the analysis of the effect of treatment on each group uses the paired t-test with the condition that the decision is made if the value of Sig <0.05. The last step is to test the difference in the final ability in the two classes using an independent t test with the condition that the decision is made if the value of Sig < 0.05. The results showed that the results of the difference test in the control group and the experimental group showed that there was an effect of using the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS)  Model.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the synthesis of river sand-based nanosilica magnetic material to improve water quality by utilizing iron sand taken from four rivers in the Lombok island region as a natural material for the water filtration process, this study aims to determine whether the iron sand nanosilica magnetic material able to improve the quality of well water or not. This study uses an experimental method where iron sand has gone through the coprecipitation process and the water quality parameters measured are temperature, pH and conductivity. The measurement results showed that well water after being mixed with iron sand decreased for temperature and conductivity parameters and increased for pH parameters. Of the three parameters, only one parameter does not meet the water quality standard requirements, namely the pH value before being mixed with iron sand which is below the standard, which is 6.32. However, after the well water was mixed with the four samples of river iron sand, the pH value increased to 7.99, 7.85, 7.75, and 8.00 so that it was able to meet water quality standards for pH parameters.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe current study examines the state of the learning environment and infrastructure, along with their effect on teaching and learning activities and the extent to which they are maintained. This study uses a descriptive survey design paradigm. Respondents consisted of madrasah in the Darul NW Kamal Kembang Kerang Islamic boarding school with 5 madrasa principals and 127 teachers who were randomly selected using a multi-stage sampling technique from a group of 5 madrasah in the Darul Kamal Islamic boarding school Kembang Kerang environment. Data was collected using the Learning Environment Management Questionnaire (LEMQ), Teacher Instructional Task Performance Assessment Scale (SPKTIG), and Principal Interview Guidelines (IGP). The study revealed that teachers' perceptions of the quality of learning facilities and environments ranged from 41 to 60.5%, while schools with inadequate quality ranged from 19 to 59%. This implies that quality assurance practices are at the average level in secondary schools. The results also showed that there was a significant relationship between teachers' instructional tasks and students' academic performance (r = 0.645 at p<0.05). The study concludes that schools and other stakeholders in education must effectively collaborate and contribute significantly to the development of infrastructure and learning environments, so as to create a work environment that is more conducive to the practice of ensuring sustainable high-quality education in secondary schools.Key words: Infrastructure, Learning Environment, Quality of Education

Abstract

The 21st century requires science teacher candidates to be skilled in using technology in learning. Science teacher candidate who is carrying out field practice experiences by applying technology-based learning must also have high self-efficacy and OCB. This study aimed to analyze self-efficacy's effect on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of science teacher candidates in technology-based learning. This research was conducted among the candidate of science teachers at Mataram Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram as many as 78 science teachers. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. The data collection used is the distribution of self-efficacy and OCB questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics in simple linear regression tests in the form of t-tests and significance. To measure self-efficacy using indicators of magnitude, generality, and strength, while to measure Organizational Citizenship Behavior using indicators of Altruism, Conscientiousness, Sportsmanship, Courtesy, and Civic Virtue. The results showed that the t-count value of 6.284 was greater than the t-table of 1.665. The significance value also shows 0.03. This shows that the significance value is smaller than the value of 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the self-efficacy of science teacher candidates has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior in technology-based learning
