Abstract

Electricity is the main requirement for every activity held at the Asiyah Kindergarten school. The Aisyah Kindergarten School building, located in Muarajalai Village, has good electrical installations, but maintenance is rarely carried out. Maintenance of electrical installations is very necessary, because over time the condition of the feasibility of electrical installations really needs to be paid attention to. One effort that can be made to maintain electricity is to install extra security equipment to overcome electric current leaks. In general, homes or schools usually only use MCBs, MCBs only function for protection in the event of an overload or short circuit. However, electric current leakage cannot be protected by MCB. It is necessary to additionally install an ELCB to detect electric current leaks, so that if someone is electrocuted, the ELCB will be able to work in less than 0.1 second to cut off the electric current. Apart from protecting humans, ELCB can also protect equipment that uses electricity from electric current leaks.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a primary source of energy in daily life, with various electrical devices supporting human activities. Sometimes, electrical equipment experiences damage, with repair risks ranging from small to large scale. For damage with medium to large-scale risks, specialized experts are usually needed for repairs. However, damage to electrical installations with small-scale risks should be manageable by household members, especially housewives. Many housewives are afraid and do not understand how to handle electrical issues, even though they are active at home every day. Therefore, there is a need for training and counseling on simple electrical installations so that they can handle it confidently and safely. One form of training that can be provided is the creation of an electrical outlet set for PKK mothers in Muarajalai Village, Hamlet IV. This training aims to equip the PKK mothers with the skills and knowledge about tool specifications, tool functions, and safety procedures when using electrical equipment. With this training, it is hoped that they will be able to maintain and repair simple electrical installations at home without relying on experts, while also increasing their confidence and independence in handling everyday electrical problems.

Abstract

Abstract

Occupational safety and health (K3) is very important to be applied in small and medium industries. In addition to reducing the risk of work accidents, the implementation of K3 can also provide benefits for the industry, such as increasing productivity, maintaining the quality of work results, and creating a safe and comfortable work environment. Kampar Village, Kampa District, has five MSMEs engaged in welding. Based on the survey, almost all of these MSMEs have not implemented the implementation of K3 properly, especially due to the lack of employee awareness in implementing safe work behavior. The lack of employee knowledge about the principles of K3 is also the cause of low concern for occupational safety. In addition, MSMEs have not provided complete personal protective equipment (PPE), so the risk of work accidents is higher. Therefore, training related to the implementation of K3 standards is needed to improve employee welfare while supporting the progress of MSMEs. This training is given to MSME owners in Kampar Village, Kampa District, so that they are able to implement K3 standards consistently and sustainably in welding business activities.
