Abstract

Banyumas memiliki kerajinan produksi batik yang sangat menjanjikan dan mulai dikenal di pasar nasional. Tercatat darah penghasil batik di Banyumas terdiri di daerah Sokaraja, Meruyung, Kebasen dan Purwokerto. Pengrajin batik rumahan tersebut menjual batiknya ketempat pemasaran yang berada dibawah UKM Batik Blakasutha, Banyumas. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah penanggulangan dan pengurangan produksi limbah produksi batik. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan Particiatory Action Learning System (PALA). Pendekatan ini dimaksudkan agar mitra sasaran dapat saling terbuka dan berbagi cerita tentang permasalahan serta harapan pada usaha kelompok yang dijalaninya. dalam upaya untuk meminimalisir dan/atau menangani permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra, maka dilakukan rangkaian kegiatan yang meliputi: Survey pendahuluan dan identifikasi permasalahan, Kegitan pendampingan dan pembinaan, Pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan pewarnaan alami menggunakan tanaman indigofera. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-September 2021. Pengabdian ini menghasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan pewarnaan alami untuk batik serta diversifikasi motif/pola batik ikan. Program pengabdian ini juga membantu dalam pemasaran produksi batik.

Abstract

Hatchery of tiger grouper (Epinephelus fuscogutattus) household scale is one of the contributors to the increase in national grouper seed production. with the hatchery of household-scale grouper, the demand for grouper seed can be fulfilled as well as improving the community's economy. This study aims to determine the hatchery of household-scale tiger grouper which includes the provision of feed, hatching eggs, water quality management, harvesting, Hatching Rate (HR) and Survival Rate (SR). Data collection methods by interview, observation and active participation. Observation results related to seeding began with the provision of natural food to harvest the seeds measuring 2.7-3 cm. Hatching Rate (HR) reaches 80% and Survival Rate (SR) reaches 20%. The seeds produced were 120,000 per cycle. Abstract

In the first quarter of 2022 (1 January – 31 March) in Indonesia, there are problems related to the increase in the prices of basic necessities which can increase the amount of initial capital needed in a milkfish (Chanos-chanos) cultivation business. So it is necessary to conduct an initial simulation study of the feasibility analysis of milkfish cultivation to determine the capital and business feasibility for milkfish cultivation in the first quarter of 2022. The method used in this study is a library research method, where the data collection method is entirely with data. Secondary or literature study. Secondary data is collected by reviewing from references in the form of journals, books, and online articles that are still related. The calculation of business feasibility analysis is carried out by calculating investment costs, fixed costs, variable costs, calculating production costs, revenues, profits, BEP Rupiah, BEP Units, R/C Ratio, and PBP. Furthermore, an analysis of the supporting and inhibiting factors of the business as well as an analysis of the marketing strategy in the milkfish cultivation business was carried out. The results of the calculation of business feasibility simulations show that the production cost is Rp. 78.276.800, revenue is Rp. 1.344.000.000, profit is Rp. 950.861.600, Rupiah BEP is Rp. 192.549.566, which means the turning point will be achieved if sales reach Rp. 192.549,566. , BEP Unit is 9627 fish, which means the turning point will be reached if milkfish production reaches 9,627 fish. The R/C Ratio obtained is 1.7 and the PBP is 0.3 years, where the investment capital of this milkfish cultivation business will return within a period of 0.3 years or 3.6 months. Therefore, the milkfish cultivation business for the first quarter of 2022 can be said to be profitable and feasible to run.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan produksi ikan lele konsumsi melalui pembuatan pakan ikan di Kelompok Pembudidaya Ikan Mina Semboja. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan praktek langsung. Kegiatan pelatihan meliputi pemilihan bahan pakan ikan dan peserta mencari bahan-bahan pembuatan pakan ikan. Sedangkan metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat melalui tatap muka, pembimbingan, pendampingan dan kemitraan dengan kelompok pembudidaya ikan Mina Semboja. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok pembudidaya ikan Mina Semboja mengenai pembuatan pakan ikan lele, manajemen pemberian pakan dan manajemen usaha.

Abstract

Tahun 2019 WHO sebagai lembaga kesehatan dunia secara resmi menyatakan bahwa Covid-19 ditetapkan sebagai pandemi. Kasus Covid-19 pertama kali diumumkan di Indonesia pada bulan Maret 2020. Pada bulan Januari 2021 kasus Covid-19 di indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan, hal ini dikarenakan masih kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan penerapan protokol kesehatan yang baik dan benar. Hal ini ditambah dengan langka dan mahalnya harga handsanitizer di pasaran, dimana handsanitizer ini sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan Covid-19. Solusi untuk masalah tersebut yaitu dengan melakukan pelatihan pembuatan handsanitizer secara mandiri kepada masyarakat di Desa Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan handsanitizer adalah untuk memudahkan masyarakat Desa Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas dalam memperoleh handsanitizer. Metode yang dipakai pada kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah metode pendampingan secara langsung dan survey. Hasil dari kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Kembaran, Kabupaten Banyumas terhadap pentingnya menggunakan handsanitizer dan dengan adanya pelatihan ini masyarakat menjadi lebih mudah dalam mendapatkan handsanitizer

Abstract

Flowerhorn fish (Cichlasoma x Paraneetroplus x Amphilophus) are dangerous to the local ecosystem of Indonesian waters. It is feared that the existence of flowerhorn fish in local waters will become the dominant predator. Based on this study, it is reported that catches of flowerhorn fish in the Sempor Reservoir, Kebumen Regency, Central Java have the potential to become invasive predatory fish. The research method uses the desk study method and field observations by informants. The flowerhorn fish caught in the Sempor Reservoir is a record for efforts to protect the natural ecosystem of the reservoir from invasion by foreign predatory fish. The existence of flowerhorn fish in the Sempor Reservoir must be monitored, mapped and regulated with strict rules so that the balance of the Sempor Reservoir ecosystem is maintained from foreign predatory fish.

Abstract

Tepung daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) dapat menjadi salah satu sumber protein alternatif untuk pakan ikan dan penggunaannya dapat mempengaruhi jumlah dan proporsi bakteri di saluran pencernaan ikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah dan proporsi bakteri berdasarkan sifat Gram di di saluran pencernaan ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) yang beri pakan dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor. Kelimpahan bakteri saluran pencernaan ikan dihitung menggunakan metode total plate count menggunakan media Trypticase soy agar (TSA) dari empat kelompok ikan yang diberi pakan komersil dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor sebanyak: 1) 0 g/kg pakan (kontrol), 2) 2 g/kg pakan, 3) 4 g/kg pakan dan 4) 6 g/kg pakan. Uji sifat Gram dilakukan menggunakan larutan KOH 3% untuk menghitung proporsi bakteri Gram positif dan negatif. Hasil menunjukkan jumlah bakteri di saluran pencernaan ikan perlakuan (4,59-5,07 x 107 CFU/g) cenderung lebih rendah dibandingkan pada ikan kontrol (5,29 x 107 CFU/g). Komunitas bakteri di saluran pencernaan ikan mas dalam penelitian ini didominasi oleh bakteri Gram negatif (83-89%). Proporsi bakteri Gram positif pada ikan yang diberi tepung daun kelor relatif lebih tinggi (15-17%) dibandingkan proporsi bakteri tersebut pada ikan kontrol (11%). Meskipun tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan, hasil ini mengindikasikan penggunaan tepung daun kelor sampai 6 g/kg pakan dapat mempengaruhi komunitas bakteri saluran pencernaan ikan.

Abstract

Aeromonas hydrophyla is a gram negative bacteria, which often infects tilapia and causes internal damage to the liver, spleen and kidneys. Tilapia Sultana, Nirwana and Larasati are superior strains that have fast growth and are resistant to disease. This study was conducted to observe and compare the physiological response of the three strains to Aeromonas hydrophyla infection through blood profiles. The blood profile can describe the health status of the fish. The parameters of the blood profile observed were the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, blood glucose, lymphocytes and monocytes. The results showed that the erythrocytes, monocytes and polymorphonuclear counts of the three strains were significantly different, while for hemoglobin, hematocrit, glucose, and lymphocytes were not significantly different.

Abstract

The foreign predatory fish Mayan cichlid (Cichlasoma urophthalmus) in the waters causes a reduction in biodiversity and is very dangerous for the sustainability of the aquatic ecosystem in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze and describe the catch of the mayan cichlid and examine the negative impact of finding this species in the Tanjungan Water Pump Jakarta. This study used the desk study method, observations by informants in the field and species identification methods based on morphological observations of Miller et al. (2005) and Nico et al. (2007). The finding of the Mayan cichlid fish species in the Tanjungan Water Pump Jakarta is an alarm or sign of the negative impacts of invasive fish to the government so that they can develop regulations that are focused and directed towards the spread of invasive species in Indonesian.

Abstract

The development of seawater cultivation (marineculture) leads to important economic commodities, one of which is shellfish such as abalone shells (Haliotis squamata). Abalone is very popular among people both domestically and abroad, this has caused the demand for abalone to increase. However, most of the abalones are obtained from wild catches. This is what causes the abalone population in nature to decline. Therefore, abalone cultivation, especially seeding, is one way to meet market demand. Problems arise when the larvaes are in the larvae phase, which is susceptible to pest attacks and disease and feed that is appropriate to the size of the abalone larvaes. This research is descriptive research where the primary data collection method is carried out in 3 ways, namely observation, active participation and interviews. This activity aims to find out pests and diseases that attack abalone larvaes and the type of feed that suits the size of the abalone larvaes.
