Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the income of palm sugar SMEs in Kaidipang District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This type of research is survey research. Survey research is research that takes a sample from one population and uses a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. primary data is data obtained directly from the first source of the field in the form of data obtained through interviews. The results of the study show that capital has a positive but not significant effect on the income of SMEs. Capital has a positive effect on the income of SMEs. The number of workers has a positive and significant effect on the income of SMEs in North Bolaang Mongondow district. Raw materials have a positive but not significant effect on MSME income. The level of education has a negative effect on the income of palm sugar SMEs. Technology has a positive but not significant effect on the income of palm sugar SMEs. Abstract

The implementation of fiscal decentralization policy has a good impact on the development of the potential and creativity of local governments. Effectiveness in managing the results of regional wealth will affect the original income of the region which can then be utilized for the welfare of the community. This study aims to determine the effect of fiscal decentralization and economic growth on poverty in Gorontalo Province. This research uses quantitative methods. The data used in this study were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance so that the data in this study were secondary data using the econometrics method through a panel data regression equation in the form of a combination of 10-year time series data (2008-2017) and cross section data 6 Regency / City areas in Gorontalo Province. Estimation is done using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this study indicate that (1) Partially the degree of fiscal decentralization has a negative effect (unidirectional relationship) and significant on poverty means that the greater the fiscal decentralization variable will have an impact on reducing the level of poverty (2) Partially economic growth has a negative effect (unidirectional relationship) and significant to poverty means increasing economic growth can reduce poverty levels (3) Simultaneously the degree of fiscal decentralization and economic growth have a significant effect on poverty in Gorontalo Province. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price, land area and production costs on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. With a total sample of 44 farmers in North Toto Village. This research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression model analysis. The results showed that the price had a negative and insignificant effect on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village. This means that every 1% increase in price can reduce income by 0.237. Land area has a positive and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village. This means that every 1% increase in land area can increase income by 0.682. Production costs have a negative and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village. This means that every 1% increase can reduce income by -0.254. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.596, this shows that the percentage of rice farmers' income variation which is explained by the variation of the independent variables, namely price, land area and production costs is 59.6% for the remaining 40.4% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of per capita income and labour absorption toward poverty level in Gorontalo Province during 2012-2017. This research uses time-series data model from secondary datasets that is obtained from Central Statistics Bureau (Badan Pusat Statistik, BPS). Main findings of this research shows that per capita income has negative impact on poverty level in Gorontalo province while labour absorption has positive impact on poverty level in Gorontalo Province.
