Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pemanfaatan serat tumbuhan purun tikus pada air limbah tambang emas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas air limbah tambang emas setelah melalui proses filtrasi berbahan serat tumbuhan purun tikus. Pengujian menggunakan alat colorometri, gravimetri, pH meterdan spektrofotometer serapan atom. Pengambilan sampel air limbah tambang emas dilakukan di Mandor, Kabupaten Landak. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan variasi serat 75 gram dan 100 gram dengan waktu perendaman selama 12 jam, 24 jam, 48 jam dan 72 jam. Parameter yang diuji meliputi pH, TDS (Total Dissolve Solid), warna, dan kadar merkuri (Hg). Kondisi awal air limbah tambang emas sebelum melalui proses filtrasi yaitu nilai pH sebesar 4,29, nilai TDS 144,00 mg/L, warna pada skala 60 Pt.Co, dan kadar merkuri (Hg) sebesar 0,0021 mg/L. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh nilai yang memenuhi standar baku kualitas air bersih pada variasi waktu 12 jam untuk parameter pH dan warna, 24 jam untuk paramater merkuri dan 72 jam untuk parameter TDS dan warna. Pada variasi ini diperoleh nilai optimum dengan persentase penurunan TDS sebesar 333%, warna 68% , pH sebesar 61% dan kadar merkuri sebesar 100%.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there was an effect of guided inquiry learning on students' understanding of the concepts of physics. By using a quasi-experimental research method with. Non-Equivalent research design. Control Group Design in order to obtain two class groups, namely the experimental and control groups. Data were collected using an objective test of concept understanding in the form of a multiple-choice test with five choice options. The data obtained were then tested the prerequisites first. After the data is said to be distributed normally and homogeneously, it is followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test. The t-test result shows that the significance value is smaller than the α value (0.000 <0.05), so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Which means that there is an effect of understanding the concept of physics between participants being taught learning guided inquiry and being taught conventionally.

Abstract

The research is quantitative research by using quasi experiment with posttest- only control group design which aims to analyze (1) the difference of physics learning motivation of students who were taught by using guided discovery learning method and the ones who were taught by using conventional method at SMAN 3 Kota Ternate of academic year 2021/2022, The data of the research were collected in three stages, namely 1) the preparation stage which covered initial observation to the samples of the research and the making of learning devices and learning instruments including content and empiric validation, 2) the implementation stage in forms of giving physics learning motivation questionnaire, the utilization of guided discovery learning method in experiment class, and utilization of conventional method in control class, 3) the final stage by giving posttest which then alayzed for hypothesis test. The data of the results of the research were processed descriptively and inferentially to describe the students physics leraning motivation and science process skills. The results of descriptive analysis reveal that the average score of Physics learning method is 16,14 from the ideal score 83 and deviation standard 6,00. While the average score of Physics learning motivation of the students who were taught by using conventional method is 60,08 from the ideal score 75 and deviation standar 47,67. There significant difference of Physics learning motivations of the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning method with the students who were taught by using conventional method class X student at SMAN 3 Kota Ternate of academic year 2021/2022.

Abstract

Register adalah variasi bahasa berkenaan dengan penggunaannya atau pemakaiannya. Instagram adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dapat difungsikan sebagai media berbagi foto dan video dalam sebuah jejaring sosial. Pandemi Covid-19 adalah wabah yang terjadi secara serempak di mana-mana. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis, mengklasifikasi dan mendeskripsikan register terkait pandemi Covid-19 di media sosial instagram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan register kesehatan era pandemi Covid-19 di media sosial Instagram. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat jenis register terkait pandemi Covid-19, yaitu register berdasarkan bentuk linguistik, register berdasarkan makna dan register berdasarkan fungsi bahasa. Register is a language variation with respect to its use or usage. Instagram is an application that can function as a medium for sharing photos and videos in a social network. The Covid-19 pandemic is an epidemic that occurs simultaneously everywhere. The purpose of this study is to analyze, classify and describe registers related to the Covid-19 pandemic on Instagram social media. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The type of research used is a type of qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. This study is to describe the health register in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic on Instagram social media. Based on the results of the study, there are types of registers related to the Covid-19 pandemic, namely registers based on linguistic forms, registers based on meaning and registers based on language functions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi kekuasaan dalam tindak tutur direktif pada gelar wicara Mata Najwa “Coba-Coba Tatap Muka” . Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data berdasarkan tuturan pembicara. Data penelitian berupa kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, dan paragraf yang memuat informasi representasi kekuasaan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah simak catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis percakapan yang mengkaji tata urutan pembicaraan, sikap, dan keinginan yang dimiliki. Data tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi tindak tutur direktif. Kemudian, data dianalisis aspek kekuasaannya yaitu reward power, coersive power, legitimate power, expert power, dan referent power. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pembawa acara memiliki kekuasaan yang berhubungan dengan reward power; 2) tidak ditemukan aspek kekuasaan berupa coersive power; 3) pembawa acara sering melakukan legitimate power; 4) beberapa narasumber memiliki expert power; 5) salah satu narasumber yaitu Gubernur Jawa Tengah diyakini memiliki referent power. This study aims to describe the representation of power in the directive speech act in the speech title of Mata Najwa "Coba-Coba Tatap Muka". The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with data sources based on the speaker's speech. Research data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and paragraphs that contain information on representation of power. The data collection technique used is note-taking. The data analysis technique used is conversational analysis which examines the order of speech, attitudes, and desires possessed. The data are grouped into directive speech acts. Then, the data were analyzed for aspects of power, namely reward power, coercive power, legitimate power, expert power, and referent power. The results showed that: 1) the presenter had power related to reward power; 2) there is no aspect of power in the form of coercive power; 3) presenters often exercise legitimate power; 4) several resource persons have expert power; 5) one of the speakers, namely the Governor of Central Java, is believed to have referent power.

Abstract

The research focused on assessing community participation in the simultaneous village head election in East Sinjai sub-district, employing a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings revealed various facets of community involvement. Firstly, participation in generating ideas was limited, as many believed their role began only during the voting process. Secondly, active participation in campaigning for worthy candidates proved effective, reflecting community engagement in endorsing potential leaders. Thirdly, time-based participation was insufficient, as individuals returning to their villages often failed to align their visits with the election schedule. The fourth aspect highlighted that community motivation to vote stemmed from the awareness that abstention could hinder the progress of their chosen candidate, fostering a desire for positive change. Conversely, factors hindering voting included familial dissatisfaction with candidates, age-related concerns, and significant migration during election periods. Notably, the study indicated an overall insufficient level of community participation in the 2022 simultaneous village head elections, with 866 individuals from Biroro Village and Patalassang Village not exercising their voting rights as registered on the Permanent Voter List. These findings underscore the need for targeted strategies to enhance community involvement, addressing specific barriers identified in the study for future electoral processes.

Abstract

Economic activity is important in keeping the country's economy running well. One of these economic activities is the production process in which individual or group activities in managing raw materials into goods are carried out in order to increase the use value of the goods. Economic activities, especially production, can run well if the constraining variables can be overcome well. In this paper, the author analyzes what factors inhibit the development of the Kenanga Coffee business located in Lubuk Garam village, Siak Kecil Regency, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province by direct observation in the field and interviews with related parties.

Abstract

The presence of learning videos for achieving student learning outcomes is one of the keys to achieving appropriate learning goals and objectives. Teaching students to write argumentative paragraphs needs to be supported by learning videos to help students understand and practice learning to write paragraphs. Bringing the material closer to learning videos with local issues is an inseparable part of introducing and familiarizing students with the environment so that they become an inseparable part of the environment itself. This research aimed to develop critical thinking learning videos containing local wisdom issues in argumentative paragraph writing. The research design used is R & D (Research & Development) with the ADDIE model with stages including (1) conducting needs analysis, (2) developing video products, (3) designing and conducting formative evaluations, (4) revising products, and (5) conducting summative evaluations or product trials, that are tested on small groups so that they can still get feedback for improving the product. The results of the research show that the critical thinking learning video containing local wisdom issues in the argumentative paragraph writing that has been created fulfills the elements. It is appropriate for use in critical thinking learning containing local wisdom issues in the material of writing argumentative paragraphs based on the results of needs analysis, carrying out product trials, and validating from experts and revising the product based on the validation results.

Abstract

LOT digunakan sebagai tahapan awal pembelajaran guna membangun fondasi pemahaman konseptual, sementara AI dimanfaatkan sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran personal yang adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujii pengaruh Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Lower Order Thinking (LOT) terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu yang melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dengan menggunakan AI dan LOT, kemudian kelompok kontrol mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Subjek penelitian adalah 60 siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Ternate, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok masing-masing 30 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kemandirian belajar dan panduan observasi aktivitas siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dua sampel independen untuk melihat perbedaan kemandirian belajar antara dua kelompok. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor kemandirian belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol.nilai rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen mencapai 88,73, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mencapai 78,90. Uji independen menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok (p < 0,05). AI berperan dalam menyediakan umpan balik otomatis dan jalur belajar yang dipersonalisasi, sedangkan LOT berkontribusi dalam membangun keterampilan dasar yang diperlukan sebelum siswa dapat beralih ke aktivitas berpikir tingkat tinggi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kolaborasi AI dan LOT dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang tidak hanya efektif dalam penyampaian materi, tetapi juga memberdayakan siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi teknologi yang selaras dengan pendekatan pedagogis berbasis kognitif dalam mendesain pembelajaran fisika yang adaptif dan memberdayakan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ science literacy at SMP Negeri 7 Tidore Kepulauan through the implementation of differentiated learning based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). The research design used is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group. The research sample consisted of two groups: the experimental group, which implemented differentiated learning based on PBL, and the control group, which followed conventional instruction. Data were collected through science literacy tests, classroom observations, and interviews. The analysis results showed a significant improvement in science literacy among students in the experimental group compared to the control group. The average post-test score of the experimental group reached 82.30, while the control group scored 67.46. The independent sample t-test showed a significant difference between the two groups (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that the differentiated PBL approach is effective in optimizing students’ science literacy skills. The implications of this research support the implementation of learning strategies that are responsive to students’ needs within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum.
