Abstract

Agro-industry is a sector that has quite diverse development potential, especially in the field of processing. One of them is processing fruit into fruit juice drinks. Nozy Juice is classified as an advanced MSME, but its competitive level is still lower than other agro-industry. This is because almost all of Nozy Juice's production activities are still done manually, giving rise to various risks that have an impact on decreasing the company's productivity level. To reduce this risk, a fuzzy-based House of Risk (HOR) approach is used which aims to identify the most critical risk agents. Then the risk mitigation design is carried out as an action plan. The essential risk of the 15 risk agents was a human error with an Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) percentage of 24.275%. Furthermore, a risk mitigation design is carried out for 10 risk events. This is expected to minimize risks in the production process of packaged fruit juice drinks at Nozy Juice.

Abstract

Indonesia is renowned for being home to the largest Islamic population globally, but the absence of a halal certification logo on products continues to be a cause for concern. For Muslim customers, their basic knowledge of halal ingredients written on the product is the only guide they can be relied on. Hence, it is crucial to understand the essential factors that influence their purchasing behavior regarding halal-certified products. This study uses the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to examine Muslim customers' behavior, as a case study, in Banda Aceh. The TPB questionnaire, including attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and purchase intention attributes, was distributed online to respondents in the Banda Aceh area using non-probability random sampling. Through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methodology and AMOS software, this research reveals a strong correlation between attitude and subjective norm with Muslim customers' purchasing intention. Moreover, purchasing intention shows a strong relationship with purchasing behavior. Consequently, attitude, subjective norm, and customers' intention are the critical factors that influence Muslim customers' behavior when purchasing halal-certified products in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background of the problem: The incorporation of digital technologies in rural tourism governance is essential for improving transparency, efficiency, and community involvement. Desa Wisata Nusa, situated in Aceh Besar, Indonesia, exemplifies a tourism town with significant potential for digital transformation under the Smart town paradigm. Purpose: This study seeks to evaluate the degree of digitalization in the governance of Nusa Tourism Village by examining stakeholder perspectives across three dimensions: Smart Governance, Smart Society, and Smart Economy. Method: A mixed-method approach was utilized, gathering data from 50 respondents embodying the Penta helix paradigm, which encompasses academics, business, community, government, and media. The research employed Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to pinpoint areas necessitating enhancement and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to investigate perceptual disparities among stakeholder groups. Result: The findings reveal considerable differences in stakeholder perceptions across all parameters. The preparedness of the workforce for digital tourism has become a crucial issue necessitating urgent focus. Conversely, elements like digital marketing, operational efficacy, and availability of digital educational resources were seen as operating satisfactorily and should be preserved. Implication: The results underscore the significance of focused capacity enhancement and reinforced multi-stakeholder collaboration to facilitate sustainable digital governance in tourism communities. These results enhance the wider discussion on rural digitalization and provide actionable consequences for policy formulation and execution.

Abstract

Digital marketing is a key strategy in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, aimed at expanding market reach, improving cost efficiency, and boosting sales. Although previous studies have explored the impact of digital marketing on consumer behavior, research focusing on local Acehnese products remains limited. Preliminary observations suggest that digital marketing has the potential to influence consumer purchasing decisions for these products. This study therefore analyzes the factors affecting consumer purchase decisions of local Acehnese products through digital marketing, examining trust, ease of use, information quality, and price. Data were collected via open-ended and closed-ended questionnaires distributed through Google Forms, using a non-probability sampling technique. A total of 30 respondents completed the closed-ended questionnaire, and 174 respondents completed the open-ended questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results indicate that ease of use, information quality, and price significantly influence digital marketing, while trust does not. Overall, the findings provide empirical evidence of the relationship between digital marketing and consumer purchasing decisions for local Acehnese products, addressing a gap in research on regional product promotion. Keywords— digital marketing; local product; purchasing decision; Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the vibration exposure experienced by workers in the Urea Granulation Screen Unit (UGSU) at the fertilizer factory in Aceh, Indonesia. This study involved 30 labors in charge as operators, mechanical maintenance officers, electrical maintenance officers, instrument maintenance officers, and inspectors. The measurement of vibration was carried out using a Triaxial Accelerometer with Integral Magnet and shows that the vibration exposure on the factory floor of the urea granulation screen unit occurs vertically with a minimum value of 0.298 m/s2 and a maximum of 1.630 m/s2. According to ISO 2631-1:1997, the maximum vibration values that occur are categorized as a likely health risk zone and result in uncomfortable reactions to the workers. Furthermore, this study analyzes the effect of vibrations on musculoskeletal problems using a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. It reveals that the average score of musculoskeletal complaints is 71.6, which defines a high degree of pain. The results of the NBM questionnaire also showed that the vulnerable part of the body which experienced musculoskeletal complaints is the knee. The result of vibration exposure on this body part shows the highest value of 3.437 m/s2. To minimize occupational diseases and accidents, it is necessary to manage a working system that takes into account legal standards, ideal working time, and working shifts in the work area.
