Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) are a health problem that often affects children and adults. For adults, acute respiratory infections are mild or common, but in children under five, this disease is a threat that can cause death. One of the causes of death due to acute respiratory infections is incorrect diagnosis. This study aims to determine the level of accuracy and optimal neural network architecture in detecting ARI using the backpropagation method. This research was implemented using MATLAB software with several forms of network architecture. Symptoms of ARI that were used as input for detection of the disease consisted of 13 variables targeting non-pneumonia and pneumonia ARDs. Based on the research results, the architecture with the best configuration consists of 13 input layer neurons, 20 hidden layer neurons, and two output layer neurons with a binary sigmoid activation function (logs), a learning rate value of 0.5, an error tolerance value of 0.001, a maximum of the epoch of 216 and MSE 0.000997. Artificial neural networks with the backpropagation method used for weight adjustment can respond to training data and testing data well, marked by the resulting network accuracy of 100% in accordance with the desired target.

Abstract

Umano Vero Store is one of the stores that sells sales of bags, shoes, sandals, belts and wallets located in Batam, Indonesia. In the year 2019, known  in the store Umano vero in determining the annual bonus to employees still not even evenly,  employees at the store Umano Vero not satisfied with the annual bonus they received so that this problem raises less employee performance, employee discipline, and employee loyalty to the store Umano Vero.So the author performs analysis in the utilization of algorithm C4.5 to determine the annual bonus on the store Umano Vero. In the implementation of research, the authors perform methods or techniques of data mining using decision tree Classification or decree tree as well as algorithm type C4.5 done by manually calculation and also use Weka application version 3.9.2. Results of calculations and tests, the author also argues that from the process of utilization of  algorithm C4.5 in determining the annual bonus  that is done turns out to be sufficiently large influenced by some attributes of the annual bonus variable, namely the target attribute, the presence attribute  and  the work period attributes.

Abstract

The increasing number of internet users in Indonesia has an impact on increasing the number of users of streaming video. The increase in the number of users is based on technological developments with the emergence of mobile devices such as notebooks, tablets and smartphones equipped with internet access via wireless networks. Unlike networks using cables, the characteristics of using video streaming over wireless networks are limited when compared to those using cables. To access various applications on the internet, including video streaming, a stable internet service is needed. For this reason, a Quality of Service (QoS) measurement research is needed which is carried out at one of the wireless network provider points in the city of Batam, namely Taman Internet Engku Putri. QoS can be used to measure and analyze the stability and quality of a wireless network. The parameters used in the measurement and analysis of QoS are Throughput, Delay, Jitter and Pakect Loss which will be tested on video streaming services. The test will be carried out at certain times such as peak hours and low hours. Low hours usually range from 08.00 WIB - 15.00 WIB and rush hour usually ranges from 15.00 WIB - 21.00 WIB. The results of measurement and analysis using four QoS parameters show that the video streaming service using wireless networks in Taman Internet Engku Putri is in the medium category.

Abstract

PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Alfamart merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang ritel yang mana perusahaan ini setiap harinya harus memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Selain itu, peletakan produk pada rak yang tidak sesuai dengan kebiasaan konsumen saat membeli produk secara bersamaan dalam satu waktu. Hal ini menyebabkan kekecewaan pada konsumen yang tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhannya. Maka dari itu perusahaan harus mencermati pola pembelian yang dilakukan oleh konsumen. Untuk mengetahui produk yang dibeli secara bersamaan, menggunakan association rule (aturan asosiasi) yaitu teknik Data Mining  untuk menemukan aturan asosiasi suatu kombinasi item. Proses pencarian asosiasi menggunakan metode algoritma C4.5 yang dapat menghasilkan pengetahuan yang terkandung dalam data transaksi pelanggan, mengenai pola pembelian oleh konsumen. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan algoritma C4.5 yang memenuhi syarat nilai minimum confidence dan diuji dengan software Tanagra, pada toko Alfamart rule tertinggi yang muncul pada produk Kunci Mas Minyak Goreng Pch 1,8l dan Sedap Mie Kari Special 75G dengan nilai Support 43,3% dan confidence 92,8%, hal ini sama dengan perhitungan manual algoritma C4.5. Maka dapat dilakukan pengaturan tata letak produk secara berdekatan untuk memudahkan keberadaan produk tersebut dan memudahkan dalam menentukan persediaan produk promo yang diinginkan konsumen serta dapat digunakan sebagai pendukung keputusan manajer dalam mengelola aktifitas perusahaan.

Abstract

Puri Agung merupakan salah satu pemukiman warga di Piayu kota Batam, dan ketua RT merupakan salah satu pihak yang berperan langsung ke warga, sebagai pihak yang berperan langsung ke warga dibutuhkan pelayanan yang dapat memudahkan warga dalam keperluan administrasi dan pembayaran iuran warga yang dimana pelayanan itu dilakukan dengan pencatatan tangan, yang menggunakan kertas dan pencatatan secara manual dalam pendataannya serta dalam penyampaian informasi warga ke ketua RT harus mendatangi rumah ketua RT yang dimana sering terjadi tidak selarasnya waktu antara RT dan warga, ini menyebabkan terkendalanya penyampaian keperluan yang ingin disampaikan warga ke RT . Sehingga diperlukan sebuah sistem yang bisa membantu ketua RT dan warga dalam melakukan pelayanan administrasi dan pembayaran iuran warga. Sistem ini berfungsi untuk memudahkan proses penyampaian informasi warga ke perangkat RT yang itu juga menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan CodeIgniter dengan metodologi penelitian menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML). Tujuan sistem ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi yang independen, cepat, dan tepat waktu sehingga warga biasa dapat menanggapi pihak berwenang tanpa masalah.

Abstract

Addressing mental health issues has become a priority for the Indonesian government due to the rising prevalence of depression and anxiety, especially in Riau Archipelago Province, which reported as one of the provinces with the highest suicide rates in the country. The World Health Organization has pointed out the deficiencies in data collection, reporting, and knowledge management related to mental health. PT XYZ has collected mental health data through annual medical check-ups utilizing the DASS-21 scale, but this data has not been analyzed to extract useful and actionable insights for management. This research aims to profile the mental health of PT XYZ workers using annual medical check-up data from June to September 2023, involving a total of 3,699 workers. By implementing the K-Means clustering algorithm based on three variables—depression, anxiety, and stress—the analysis revealed that 242 workers were identified in a cluster with severe mental health conditions, 1,271 in a cluster with moderate conditions, and the remaining 2,186 with mild conditions in a cluster.

Abstract

The rapid increase in the demand for flexible and economical access to electronic devices has made electronic device rental services an increasingly popular solution. However, these services still face various challenges, such as limited access to information, manual rental processes, and inefficient payment systems. This study aims to design and develop an electronic device rental application based on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) integrated with a payment gateway to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. The software development method used is Scrum, which enables rapid iteration through a series of sprints, from user interface design to implementing core features such as inventory management, online booking, and integrated online payments. The development results demonstrate that the application can provide a more structured system for device management, information transparency, and fast and secure transactions. This study contributes an innovative web-based rental system and serves as a reference for the development of similar applications in the future. With its offered features, this application is expected to improve access to electronic devices, support societal needs, and foster the growth of the electronic device rental industry in Indonesia..

Abstract

The existence of technology is to facilitate human work. The advancement of internet technology is currently growing very rapidly. Currently the Internet is not only used as a communication tool but also as a tool to carry out daily activities such as controlling electronic devices, one of which is controlling lights. The owner of the Anugrah Plastik Store has difficulty controlling the lights in his shop because the store is quite far from where he lives. this can take a long time and be quite inconvenient if he forgets to turn off the lights in his shop. Researchers wish to assist shop owners in controlling and unifying lamp conditions remotely by designing a Telegram-based Smart Lamp information system at Anugrah Plastik Shop with the help of the ESP8266 tool. The method used by the author is Extreme Programming with SDLC which consists of planning, design, coding and testing. The results of this study are in the form of a design system that provides convenience in remote light control and provides time efficiency that is much needed by users. In this system there are several additional features, namely the existence of a database that functions to view the history of lamp activity.

Abstract

MiniMall MSMEs is a business that is engaged in the sale of products, including: glassware, clothing, household items, accessories for fashion and electronic equipment in the city of Batam. MiniMall MSMEs take advantage of the e-commerce platform to sell their products. Based on product sales data from March 2020 to February 2021, there was a decrease in the level of sales and this condition is now a problem for MiniMall MSMEs because it can interfere with the continuity of its business. Seeing these problems, the authors want to analyze the consumer satisfaction of the MiniMall MSMEs because the level of product sales is basically related to customer satisfaction. The implementation of the analysis in the study was carried out using data mining techniques with the C4.5 algorithm. The analysis was carried out by performing manual calculations using the gain and entropy formula of the C4.5 algorithm and using the WEKA version 3.9.5 application to ensure the correctness and accuracy of the manual calculations. It is concluded that the customer satisfaction of the MiniMall MSMEs is proven to be analyzed using data mining with the algorithm from C4.5 and the results of the research can be used to help increase product sales. In addition, the decision tree and the results of calculations manually using the gain and entropy formula of the C4.5 algorithm have the same results as data testing using the WEKA application version 3.9.5, so it can be said that the results of research through the use of the WEKA application and manual calculations are the same. correct and accurate, making it easier for researchers when analyzing customer satisfaction data derived from questionnaires. The results showed that the indicators of product availability, product quality and delivery accuracy significantly affected consumer satisfaction of the MiniMall MSMEs.

Abstract

The development of technology and information has changed all fields, including the development of the business world. It is hard to deny that the rapidly developing technology is currently attracting the attention of many people, including online shop business people. An online store business must calculate important information to run the business plan it manages every year. PT Indoland Batam is a company engaged in online sales or online stores that offer products such as men's and women's clothing, men's and women's wallets, men's and women's bags, men's and women's shoes, and household goods. The company started operations in 2017 and is located at Citra Buana Industrial Park 1, Blok H No 1-2, Jalan Yos Sudarso, Kampung Seraya Batam. In 1 month PT Indoland Batam can sell around 15,000 packages up to 20,000 packages but due to changes in customs regulations that affect shipping or expeditions where every package delivery from Batam is subject to a large tax, it causes a very drastic decline in package sales.
