Abstract

Microsoft Office 2016 is one of the applications in data processing. Regarding community groups, it must be admitted that the community's ability to use Microsoft Office 2016 is minimal, because many people, especially students at the SMP Kampung Baru Indosat Sekupang Batam, do not understand and understand the use of Microsoft Office 2016 applications. The difficulties they experience are: school assignments related to questions in the form of essays related to the tools in Microsoft Office 2016 because the hours of computer subjects are less when compared to hours of other subjects. In addition, understanding of how the Microsoft Office 2016 application works and functions is still minimal. This is where the service team provides guidance in improving using Microsoft Office 2016 with the aim of improving knowledge and understanding skills for students using Microsoft Office 2016 applications.

Abstract

The introduction of spatial media, especially in mathematics, is still often applied to learning module media such as books or whiteboard media as happened. In this case it is less effective because students are less able to absorb what is conveyed by the teacher because the media is still in the form of 2D images. This study aims to build learning augmented reality with markerless method based on android. With the application of augmented reality objects in the recognition of spatial shapes can be used as 3D images. The spatial applications that will be made are cubes, blocks, triangular prisms, triangular pyramids, rectangular pyramids, cones, spheres and regular hexagon prisms. The final result obtained is an educational application for the introduction of mathematical formulas, especially in building spaces using Android-based augmented reality, and in the form of a marker book. It is possible that this technology can be used as a tool for more innovative methods of introducing mathematical geometric formulas. By shining on the rear camera on the marker book, users can immediately see in 3D on the smartphone screen the shape of the shapes and formulas that exist in real time. This will be an interesting lesson, especially for fifth graders at SDIT At Taubah Batam.

Abstract

Abstract: As one of the leading industrial areas in Indonesia, the development of the business world in Batam City is very fast. Coupled with the increasing demand from the market because the majority of Batam people are workers. In addition, the city's minimum wage (UMK) is high compared to other areas, making the lifestyle of the people of Batam city become consumptive. The demand is increasing, the more businesses are popping up with various ideas and creations. So the competition in selling is getting tougher. For this reason, creative ideas are needed so that business continuity can continue. One idea that can be used is Branding. Even though they have used social media such as Facebook and Instagram as marketing, business owners are still less confident if they do not have a means of delivering information such as blogs or websites. This service activity uses the method of preparation, implementation, implementation and discussion. There are three solutions that I try to provide to partners, namely: Selection and creation of a blog, filling out blog content and maintaining blogs as a solution to improve branding and as a means of promotion of the Habibie Batam Shop. The target achievement of this service activity is so that partners are able to create blogs and apply them in filling content for branding as well as being able to maintain blogs. Keywords: blog; branding; habibie shop Abstrak: Sebagai salah satu daerah industri terkemuka di Indonesia, perkembangan dunia usaha di Kota Batam sangat  cepat. Ditambah lagi dengan permintaan dari pasar  yang meningkat karena mayoritas masyarakat Batam merupakan pekerja. Selain itu, upah minimum  kota  (UMK)  yang  tinggi  di  atas  daerah  lainnya  menjadikan  pola  hidup masyarakat kota Batam menjadi konsumtif. Permintaan semakin banyak, semakin banyak juga usaha-usaha yang bermunculan dengan berbagai ide dan kreasi. Sehingga persaingan dalam berjualan bertambah berat. Untuk itu dibutuhkan ide-ide kreatif agar keberlangsungan usaha dapat terus berlanjut. Salah satu ide yang dapat digunakan adalah Branding. Walaupun sudah menggunakan sosial media seperti Facebook dan Instagram sebagai pemasaran, pemilik usaha masih kurang percaya diri jika belum punya sarana penyampaian informasi seperti blog ataupun  website. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode persiapan, pelaksanaan, implementasi dan diskusi. Adapun solusi yang pengabdi coba berikan kepada mitra terdapat tiga yaitu: Pemilihan dan pembuatan blog, pengisian konten blog dan pemeliharaan blog sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan branding dan sebagai sarana promosi Toko Habibie Batam. Capaian target dari kegiatan pengabdian ini agar mitra mampu membuat blog dan mengaplikasikan dalam pengisian  konten  untuk branding sekaligus dapat melakukan mantenance blog.Kata kunci: blog; branding; toko habibie

Abstract

The implementation of community service activities carried out in the form of training on the use of Microsoft Word is very useful for young people of the Al-Hikmah Mosque Housing Taman Hangtuah Legenda Malaka Batam Center, because with this ability it will make it easier for Youth of the Al-Hikmah Mosque Housing Taman Hangtuah Legenda Malaka Batam Center in management and operational of the Youth Secretariat of Al-Hikmah Mosque Housing Taman Hangtuah Legenda Malaka Batam Center in its creative activities which are not only spiritual in nature, but also other social activities that support hard skill abilities which are not only obtained in the school environment but can also be obtained in the residential environment in the form of Youth organization Al-Hikmah Mosque Housing Taman Hangtuah Legenda Malaka Batam Center. community service activities by applying the method of making activity reports, correspondence and correspondence as well as making information technology-based outreach brochures by utilizing existing applications in Microsoft Word with the hope that this activity will be able to provide creativity, optimize existing IT facilities and increase capabilities and human resources especially for the young person of the Al-Hikmah Mosque, Taman Hangtuah Residential, the Legenda Malaka, Batam Center. Abstract

Information and communication technology is growing rapidly. Information technology enters various fields ranging from the world of offices to medicine, business, the arts, culture, and many other fields, including education. In the world of education, there are many ways to take advantage of information technology, from making learning media to the learning process to presenting the material in the learning itself. All can rely on information technology; all that remains is to choose which technology is suitable to use. New problems arise when teachers cannot utilize the media. They continue to rely on traditional and outdated learning media. So it is certain that the material produced is less interesting and seems boring. In addition, today's students focus more on what they see. If you provide a special attraction, it will automatically impress them. In this training, the target is PAUD teachers. They will be given training on how to use the internet as a learning resource for their students. Many internet sites can be used as learning media. The material that will be delivered can be in the form of getting to know letters, knowing numbers, getting to know animals, getting to know plants, and much more. If you have to present material on the internet, of course you can't display it right away because it will take time. This is due to the advertisements that appear and other disturbances that must be transferred to the display media, such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Methods like these must be mastered by a teacher. The target of this training itself is to be able to use the internet as a learning medium and also use it for various other needs. This service activity was successfully carried out, and the results can be seen in the increased skills of the trainees in utilizing the internet as a learning medium. With this skill, it will certainly have an impact on the quality of learning and the material provided. The material provided becomes more varied and not boring.

Abstract

Hearing the word smartphone technology may not seem foreign to some people, on the other hand, for certain people something is rarely used by the technology in it. The application in this smartphone itself is an existing facility on Android that allows users to be able to use it. Among the applications that can improve English skills are Hangman Game, Simon Says and Word Match. There are several games that can later be loaded to increase the user's skills. Given the importance and good use value of smartphone technology, it is necessary to introduce it to the community through community service programs, in this case the community that is deemed necessary at this time is the law office of Agus-Rio & Partners. Jl. Trans Barelang, Taman Cipta Asri II Block Boulevard A-12 with the target of participants being employees and the Taman Asri housing community. It is also undeniable that the use of smartphone technology is important. Where Law and Human Rights Offices are not only related to assistance within the country but also sometimes receive legal aid services outside the country such as Singapore and Malaysia. As is well known, certain activities at the Law Office require the presence of many participants, including employees and cooperating parties. It is hoped that through training on the use of smartphone technology this can become a platform for the basis for honing their English language skills.

Abstract

To get a large profit in a company or business is to determine sales predictions for the next period. Prediction or forecasting is one of the keys to the success of sales because the predicted value of sales can be used as a reference to determine the order of goods, so there is no loss. Exponential smoothing method is a fairly superior forecasting method in long-term, medium-term and short-term forecasting. The data to be processed is sales data for the 2020-2022 period. The single exponential smoothing method was chosen because it can determine sales predictions for the next period with the smallest error value. The evaluation method used is MAPE, ME, MAD and MSE where this forecasting method is used to find the smallest error value. Based on the calculation results, the smallest error value obtained is ME at 62.8, MAD at 179.9, MSE at 55564.5, and MAPE at 9.20%. The value is at alpha 0.3. The next stage is to design a prediction system using the out-systems platform version 11.14.1 as a place to design the system. The test results of the system that has been designed to assist business owners in making decisions on product inventory estimates.

Abstract

Rapid developments in the field of communications have sparked public interest in switching to information and communication technology. The use of information technology by companies plays an important role in simplifying and speeding up their business management. PT Bestbuild Globalindo Aluminum is a company engaged in manufacturing aluminum frames, doors and windows. As the company develops and the number of inventory items increases, problems arise that require attention, namely the difficulty in obtaining fast, precise and accurate information regarding existing inventory items. From these problems, it is necessary to design and build a more structured and efficient goods inventory information system. The aim of this research is to design and build an inventory information system that is expected to increase the efficiency of inventory management, and provide more accurate and reliable information. The research method used by researchers is OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis Design) with modeling using UML. This inventory information system was designed and built using the PHP programming language and data storage via a MySQL database. The inventory information system that has been built can provide up-to-date reports to company leaders regarding inventory items at PT Bestbuild Globalindo Aluminum.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly developing digital information, hoax or fake news is a serious challenge that can influence people's perceptions and decisions. This research aims to develop a hoax news detection method using a machine learning approach on news data. The focus of this research is to identify related hoax news. This research involves collecting news data from leading online news sources and applying machine learning algorithms, including Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Gradient Boosting, and Random Forest, to classify hoax news. Model performance is measured using accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score metrics, with test results compared with human evaluations that have been trained to recognize hoax news. The results of this research show that the machine learning approach can be successfully used to identify hoax news with a high level of accuracy. However, this study also identified limitations in this approach, such as limited training data and language complexity. Nevertheless, this research makes an important contribution in efforts to overcome the problem of hoax news and provides a basis for further development in hoax news detection using machine learning technology.

Abstract

Perancangan prototipe alat pemadam kebakaran otomatis ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno atmega328p yang berbasis fuzzy logic. Alat ini bekerja mendeteksi suhu suatu ruangan, dan bekerja pada suhu normal. Adapun sensor yang digunakan adalah LM35 dan MQ-3 sebagai sensor suhu dan sensor asap. Sistem kontrol ini bekerja berdasakan suhu panas dan kepekatan asap. Pengontrolan ini menggunakan fuzzy logic dengan error pada keluarannya adalah 3%, dan ini lebih efektif dan efisien.
