Abstract

The nurse caller device is used as a special communication device between the patient and the nurse within the hospital area as a means of speeding the nurse's time response in providing immediate care to the patient. The designed wireless-based nurse caller device made installation easier and neater. The remote used a Bluetooth module MH-10 connected to the ATMega8 microcontroller as the sender and receiver. The data process using a microcontroller ATMega8 produced characters on the LCD, turned on the LED, and activated the buzzer to call the nurse. The results of the test on the device showed that the farthest distance taken by the HM-10 Bluetooth module in the open area (outdoor) was about 45 meters, and the closed area (indoor) was about 20 meters.

Abstract

the rapid growth of the internet of things (IoT) in the world in recent years is due to its wide range of usability, adaptability, and smartness. Most of the IoT applications are performing jobs an automatic manner without interactions of human or physical objects. It’s required that the current and upcoming devices will be smart, efficient and able to provide the services to the users to implement such a new technology with a secure manner. Thus the security issues are exploring day by day by the researchers. IoT devices are most portable and light in nature so it has several issues such as battery consumption, memory, and as these devices are working open range so the most important is security. In this survey paper, we have elaborated on the security attacks with reference to the different kinds of IoT layers. In the last, we have presented some of the applications of the IoT. This study will provide assistance to the researchers and manufacturers to evaluate and decrease the attacks range on IoT devices.

Abstract

Aromatherapy is an alternative treatment method that uses essential oil vapours from various plants inhaled for health therapy. It affects mood, reduces fatigue and anxiety, and stimulates relaxation. Relaxation is the process of relieving anxiety or stress. It is interpreted as a calm state with a normal pulse. When someone is stressful and anxious, the pulse is higher. Measuring the level of anxiety is done by measuring the heart rate. The research aimed to design an electric aromatherapy device equipped with Atmega 8-based heart rate monitoring as a therapeutic tool that can help reduce various kinds of health problems, one of which is anxiety or stress disorder. The test was carried out by comparing the values of the heart rate monitoring to a pulse oximeter. The oximeter was used as a reference to get high accuracy values. The device is expected to help reduce various kinds of health problems caused by heart problems.

Abstract

Embedding is an anatomical pathology laboratory device that is very important for producing quality slices and is also a device used to process paraffin tissue, so that the tissue can be cut with higher precision using a microtom (slicer). From the process of melting paraffin crystals using a manual heating process with bunsen flame heaters (fire heaters) so that the paraffin crystals can be transformed from the crystal into liquid. While paraffin crystals that have been processed from the crystal to liquid form are poured into the mold and left to freeze. In this case, an embedding system device will be made equipped with heating and cooling. The temperature used for the liquefaction process is 50ï‚°C while the temperature for cooling is 17ï‚°C. After making the process of making device, experiment device, and retrieving data, the error percentage results were 0.016% at the heating temperature and 0.08% at the coolant temperature, and the percentage of heating samples obtained in the sample was 61.3%, while the percentage samples for parts coolers get a value of 92%

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design an X-ray microcontroller-based ATmega328P microcontroller exposure time measurement device. That can be done by integrating an X-ray detection circuit, analog signal conditioner, ATmega328P microcontroller and Bluetooth module HC-05 to display and control the measurement results on mobile phones Android. The benefits of this research are expected to be able to increase knowledge and expertise in the field of radiology instruments through X-ray machine parameter measurement techniques and assist technicians to calibrate the X-ray exposure time parameters.

Abstract

ECG or Electrocardiograph is a tool to find out the electrical activity of the heart in patients. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a graphic result records electrical potential resulting from by heartbeat, (Mervin J. Goldman, 1990). ECG recording very useful to know present certain hypertrophy, arrhythmia, pericarditis, for example potassium electrolyte disturbances. Tool this be named generator signal ECG. Tool the generator signal ECG functioning for produce the signal Electric heart in adult patient sand to check ECG error or no. So that it can ease technical electro medic in maintenance medical equipment periodically. The tool utilizes IC 14521 as oscillator or signal generator and using IC 14 017 as a shift register who has responsibility to remove from pin 1 to pin the other. The benefits of the ECG signal generating device so that technical electro medic easy and not difficult in check ECG without must using patients. So this tool as a form clone of the human heart. The tool such as a patient simulator. Based on the results of laboratory tests that have been done with the author concluded that, ECG signal generating device to function properly so that produce form of mock patient's heart signal that shown monitored oscilloscope in the waveform display P, Q, R, S, T.

Abstract

The studies of cultural revitalization, local wisdom, and social security are often separated and seems unconneted. This article aims at connecting these domains through ethnographic research and document analysis of the phenomena in revitalization of local wisdom called bari to strengthen the social security of the poor in North Maluku. Revitalization activies like raising funds from public not from government budget to build hundreds of decent housing for the poor is interesting issue to study. The three main concerns of this article are socio-cultural factors that encourage the birth of this movement, the activities and achievements of these revitalization movements, and the typical characteristics of local wisdom as a result of revitalization that distinguishes it from its original form. The findings presented in this article can contribute to academic discourse in the domains of local wisdom, cultural revitalization, and social security. The more important of this finding is to construct arguments about the existence of a bridge between local wisdom, revitalization, and social security.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Entrepreneurial School Program (SPW) in enhancing students' entrepreneurial interest and skills at SMKN 1 Cikalongkulon. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research subjects include students, teachers, and the school principal.cThe findings reveal that the implementation of the SPW Program encompasses structured planning, effective organization, integrated execution with the curriculum, and continuous evaluation. The program has proven effective in increasing students' entrepreneurial interest and skills, despite challenges such as budget constraints and limited human resources. Proposed solutions include strengthening collaboration with the business sector and providing teacher training to support program sustainability. This study contributes to the development of an entrepreneurial learning model at the vocational high school level, aligning with the demands of the workforce and modern society.

Abstract

Tradisi pandai besi di Toloa, Tidore, merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang merefleksikan perpaduan antara keterampilan lokal dan nilai-nilai Islam. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya berkaitan dengan produksi alat-alat besi, tetapi juga menyimpan makna filosofis yang mendalam, terutama dalam penggunaan dan peran empat unsur alam yaitu; tanah, air, udara, dan api. Dalam perspektif Islam, keempat unsur ini memiliki simbolisme spiritual yang terkait erat dengan penciptaan manusia, proses penyucian, ujian kehidupan, dan kekuatan ruhani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri jejak sejarah Islam dalam perkembangan tradisi pandai besi di Toloa serta mengkaji harmoni antara proses penempaan besi dan makna simbolik empat unsur alam dalam ajaran Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah yang meliputi empat tahap itu heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi pandai besi di Toloa tidak hanya merupakan aktivitas ekonomi dan budaya, tetapi juga manifestasi dari nilai-nilai spiritual yang telah mengakar dalam kehidupan masyarakat sejak masuknya Islam ke wilayah tersebut. Penempaan besi menjadi media ekspresi hubungan antara manusia, alam, dan Tuhan, yang selaras dengan konsep tauhid dan kesatuan ciptaan dalam Islam. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pelestarian tradisi lokal sebagai bagian dari warisan peradaban Islam di Nusantara.

Abstract

Hepatitis A is a viral disease with a high potential for morbidity and mortality. It is also the second highest viral disease in Indonesia after hepatitis B. Community’s knowledge regarding Hepatitis A disease dan vaccine is required to support such program for eradication of Hepatitis A. The aims of this study was to measure the knowledge of Indonesian community about hepatitis A disease and its vaccine indicated from knowledge score of correct answer towards questionnaire, as well as to analyze the factors that can influence it indicated from difference of mean of knowledge scores among groups of respondents characteristics. This study used an observational survey research design applying a cross-sectional multi-center approach. The number of sample was 500 respondents located in 5 provinces in Indonesia, namely DIY, Lampung, West Java, Central Kalimantan, and Central Sulawesi. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that was modified from the questionnaire in a similar previous study. The results showed that public knowledge related to diseases and hepatitis A vaccine in Indonesia was considered sufficient with the mean score obtained was 75.2% ± 12.2%. Statistical analysis using Mann-Whitney test showed that there were significant differences in score of knowledge between groups on the characteristics of experience of hearing a disease (p=0,000), experience of hearing a vaccine (p=0,000) and the experience of the child being vaccinated (p=0,000). There are 2 items of knowledge that werelack understood by respondents, namely treatment of hepatitis A that cannot be treated with antibiotics and immunizations and hepatitis A is not included yet in the national immunization program in Indonesia. It is concluded that community knowledge regarding hepatitis A disease and vaccine was fair (mean knowledge score between 65 – 80%). However, the government still needs to conduct educational programs for the Indonesian community about disease prevention through the vaccination process and provide counseling about the types of vaccines that are not included in the national health insurance program in Indonesia.
