Abstract

Kepala sekolah berfungsi baik sebagai manajer dan pengawas, yang memungkinkan dia memiliki dampak terhadap lingkungan. Sesuai dengan tanggung jawabnya, kepala sekolah memiliki kebijakan yang terperinci untuk membawa perubahan mendasar dalam sikap, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan etos kerja. Metode observasi atau pengamatan digunakan dalam analisis penelitian ini. Sekolah MA Bina Karya Hatawano belum sepenuhnya memahami gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, menurut temuan analisis. Oleh karena itu, memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja guru.

Abstract

The digital-based learning workshop aimed to train teachers at SMP Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 9 Huamual District, West Seram Regency in an effort to improve teacher professionalism in responding to the challenges of changing times. This service to teachers uses training and workshop methods. Participants in this activity were 30 teachers from SMP Negeri 3 and SMA 9, Huamual District, Seram Regency. The output of this workshop is that participants have been able to design digital-based learning media and are able to use them in the learning process at school.Keywords: Digital Learning, Teacher, Seram Bagian Barat

Abstract

Purpose –Understanding of religious extremism has begun to enter the world of campuses in Indonesia today. Of course, this has an impact on intolerance behavior. Recent studies show that religious intellectual humility (IH) can shape a person's tolerant behavior. But so far, this topic has been minimally replicated in the learning process in Indonesia. Therefore, this research seeks to prove and explain the influence of religious IH in the learning process in shaping students' tolerant behavior. Design/methods/approach–This study is an ex-post facto research. The subjects were lecturers (29 people) and students (41 people) at Islamic Education Department (IED) from one of the Islamic universities in Maluku. Data collection techniques use the IHS scale, RHS, and tolerance behavior scale. Data analysis used a simple linear regression technique. Findings –The results of the study show that there is an influence of religious IH in the learning process to shape student tolerance behavior by p = 0,000 (p<0,05). The contribution of religious IH forms tolerance behavior of 76.2%. This means that apart from religious IH, around 23.8% of other variables also shape tolerant behavior such as empathy, self-disclosure, and giving support for the rights of others. Research implications/limitations –The limitation of this research is that the subject comes from a limited number of lecturers and students in Maluku. In addition, this study also did not use an experimental design. It is suggested that the next study needs to involve a large number of samples (educators and students), it is also expected that it needs to be replicated in the form of an experimental design. Originality/value –This study recommends educators (lecturers) continue to practice religious IH in the learning process, especially for their students (prospective IED teachers) so that later they can practice it in the IED learning process in the future.

Abstract

The toughest challenge for education policy makers is to provide programmes that can help mountain tribe children to be immersed into the English learning process, so that they can overcome their learning difficulties. This research highlights this by providing an English camp for mountain tribe children at the foot of Binaiya mountain, Central Maluku, Indonesia. Through a quasi-experiment on a group of 13 people, it was found that English camp strongly predicted the interest of mountain tribe children in Binaiya in learning English (p = 0.009). This is because English camp can help children immerse themselves into the learning process and facilitate their self-determination and comfort. However, the limitations of this study are that it did not fully control for threat factors and present a comparison group. Therefore, the recommendation for future researchers is to pay attention to this, and make self-determination and comfort as moderator and/or mediator variables in predicting English camp on interest in learning English.

Abstract

The purpose of this training is to train teachers to use the online learning media platform Edmodo to make it easier for teachers to learn. The method used in this training was training and workshops. The participants in this training were teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Huamual, West Seram Regency, totaling 30 people, with a male percentage of 36% and a female of 64%. The steps in conducting the training are as follows: Conducting a survey at Huamual 3 Public Middle School, West Seram Regency, and identifying the problems faced by schools related to distance learning. (1) We analyze the needs of schools for widely used E-learning platforms. (2) Conduct a literature study on the use of the Edmodo application. (3) Prepare training support tools and materials. (4) Determine and prepare the material to be delivered. Training on the use of Edmodo Media in the learning process went well and smoothly. The results of this activity are: After this training, teachers will acquire new knowledge and skills in using the Edmodo-based learning environment in the teaching and learning process. The results of the evaluation through observation during training using Edmodo, the teacher was very enthusiastic, this was seen during the question and answer during the work practice.

Abstract

Abstrak. Dalam era digital seperti saat ini, penggunaan teknologi informasi menjadi suatu keharusan untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan memenuhi harapan mahasiswa serta calon mahasiswa, Dalam konteks ini, sistem informasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru menjadi sebuah solusi yang sangat relevan dalam membantu dan memudahkan sistem pendaftaran online, pengolahan data dan analisis, komunikasi dan informasi digital, kemudahan pengguna, dan penghemat waktu dan biaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam meningkatkan efektif proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Institut Agama Islan Negeri Ambon. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Pemanfaatan Teknologi informasi dalam proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru di IAIN Ambon dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi calon mahasiswa yang mendaftar dengan menggunakan sistem pendaftaran online, yang dapat memudahkan pengolahan data dan analisis, serta komunikasi dan informasi digital. 2) Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas penerimaan mahasiswa baru di IAIN ambon. IAIN Ambon menjadi salah satu kampus yang memanfaat teknologi informasi sebagai alat pendukung dalam melakukan pendaftaran online bagi calon mahasiswa baru yang tentunya dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi peserta serta mengurangi tenaga dan biaya. Dengan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dapat meningkatkan efektif proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru di IAIN Ambon telah diupayakan dengan baik dan diharapkan dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman yang semakin pesat, sehingga mampu menarik minat calon mahasiswa serta mempermudah akses informasi. Hal ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam proses penerimaan.

Abstract

Solastalgia is a form of existential distress that emerges when individuals experience a rupture in their relationship with their dwelling due to drastic environmental changes. Despite its serious psychological implications, this phenomenon has not been widely discussed, particularly among scholars of social and human sciences, such as psychologists, anthropologists, and sociologists in Indonesia. Therefore, this article provides a reflective foundation by drawing on the phenomenologies of Heidegger and Husserl to focus on the meaning of place, self-identity, and emotional attachment. The dynamics of those three factors is what potentially contributes to the emergence of solastalgia. Based on a literature review, this article engages in a reflective discussion on: (1) how dwelling is perceived and understood by individuals; (2) findings regarding the disconnection between individuals and their dwellings; (3) the psychological dynamics of solastalgia; and (4) the urgency of solastalgia research in Indonesia. This study is expected to serve as a reflective point of departure for social and human sciences scholars in Indonesia—such as psychologists, anthropologists, and sociologists—who wish to investigate solastalgia in a deeper and more critical manner.

Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan untuk mencapai prestasi non akademik dimulai dari kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan di luar proses pembelajaran, yang disebut dengan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Proses kegiatan ekstrakulikuler di MA Nurul Ikhlas Ambon terbagi menjadi empat kegiatan yakni ekstrakulikuler Pramuka, Palang Merah Remaja, Rohani Islam dan ekstrakulikuler Pencak Silat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan implementasi manajemen kegiatan ekstrakulikuler dalam membina prestasi non akademik peserta didik di MA Nurul Ikhlas Ambon dan untuk menjelaskan faktor pendukung dan penghambat manajemen kegiatan ekstrakulikuler dalam membina prestasi non akademik peserta didik di MA Nurul Ikhlas Ambon. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa 1) Implementasi manajemen kegiatan ekstrakulikuler mencankup, a) Perencanaan, kepala MA Nurul Ikhlas Ambon melakukan rapat bersama guru dan membahas terkait penyelenggaraan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler yang disesuaikan dengan pada madrasah tersebut. b) Pengorganisasian, kepala madrasah melakukan pembentukan struktur pembina ekstrakulikuler yang sesuai dengan tupoksinya, kemudian pembina ekstrakulikuler melakukan pengelolaan pada ekstrakulikulernya masing-masing. c) Pelaksanaan, di MA Nurul Ikhlas Ambon pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler disesuaikan dengan kalender akademik yang diterapkan, d) Pengawasan dilakukan oleh pembina ekstrakulikuler dan kepala madrasah. 2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat, a) Faktor pendukung terjalinnya kerja sama pihak MA Nurul Ikhlas Ambon, Kampus IAIN Ambon, SMK Muhammadiya Ambon, Puskesmas Arbes dan orang tua wali murid, b) Faktor penghambat, kurangnya partisipasi peserta didik, anggaran serta sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Kegiatan Ekstrakulikuler, Prestasi Non Akademik
