Abstract

This research is considered extraordinary for making video media which is enlivened as a medium for learning science subjects in Review IV so that students and students can use media that is substantial, sensible and successful. This type of investigation into the progress of research is known as Investigation and Improvement (R&D). The progress model used in this progress is 4D. This 4D modeling consists of four steps, namely Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. The aim of this research is to test and determine the development of animated video media in science and science subjects in class IV elementary school. Based on the evaluation results of the Media Validator, the Document Validator's average score of Media Validation is 4.8 "Very Valid". Results of Validator Material Validator Mean 4.74 "Very Good". This animated video media is considered "comfortable" based on real-world testing with an average value of 5.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the obstacle factors faced by teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Middle Schools. The obstacle factors analyzed were reviewed from several aspects adapted to the literature, namely; Aspects of teacher understanding of the philosophy and objectives of the Independent Curriculum, aspects of teacher pedagogical skills, aspects of teacher technology readiness, aspects of collaboration between teachers, aspects of administrative support, aspects of parent participation, aspects of resource availability. The research uses a qualitative survey approach with a case study design. This research involves selected teachers as participants, who provide in-depth insight through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research results show that aspects of teacher understanding of the philosophy and objectives of the Independent Curriculum with a percentage of 83.60%, aspects of teacher pedagogical skills with a percentage of 85.20%, aspects of teacher technology readiness with a percentage of 79.33%, aspects of collaboration between teachers with a percentage of 84.27 %, administrative support aspect with a percentage of 85.73%, parental participation aspect with a percentage of 86.27%, resource availability aspect with a percentage of 85.33%. This research provides a foundation for changing educational policies and approaches to address these barriers. Conclusions emphasize the need for better training, consistent administrative support, and strengthened collaboration between teachers, school officials, and parents to ensure successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Secondary Schools.

Abstract

Literacy in the Independent Curriculum is the main focus developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbud). Increasing literacy in this curriculum includes abilities and skills in reading, writing, arithmetic, and solving problems that are relevant to everyday life. This research aims to develop E-book Teaching Materials to increase student literacy. The research method used is research and development (R&D) 4-D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The needs analysis stage consists of problem analysis, learning objective analysis, context analysis, and content analysis. The research subjects were high school students in West Sumatra in 2024. The results of the validity test showed that the product material aspect got a score of 83.3%, the product media aspect 85.3%, and the product language aspect 88%, with an average of 91.55 %, so the product is declared very valid. The practicality test showed that the teacher's results were 89.6% and the students' results were 94.72%. The t-test results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the scores before and after treatment, with a t-value of -7.753 and a p-value of 0.000 (smaller than the alpha level of 0.05). Overall, it can be concluded that the development of e-book teaching materials is valid, practical and effective in increasing student literacy in secondary schools.
