Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang etika santri menurut Imam al-Mawardi dalam kitab adab al-dunya wa al-din. Etika dan pendidikan memiliki hubungan yang erat. Pendidikan Islam harus berupa proses pengarahan pengembangan kehidupan dan religiusitas pada santri menuju pada cita-cita kehidupan Islami. Pendidikan Islam berorientasi pada upaya menciptakan pribadi yang tangguh dan dinamis, mandiri dan kreatif. Sangat sulit membayangkan ilmu pengetahuan tanpa kendali nilai-nilai etika agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui etika santri menurut Imam Al Mawardi dalam kitab Ȃdȃb al Dunyȃ wa al Dȋn. (2) Mengetahui relevansi pemikiran etika santri menurut Imam Al-Mawardi dalam kitab Ȃdȃb al-Dunyȃ wa al-Dȋn dengan tujuan pendidikan pesantren. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penulis menggunakan penelitian Library Research dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan tertulis yang telah dipublikasikan dalam bentuk buku. Metode yang digunakan adalah hermeneutik, yaitu menggunakan logika linguistik dengan menjadikan penjelasan dan pemahaman makna kata serta makna bahasa sebagai bahan dasar dengan pendekatan filosofis, artinya semua substansinya memerlukan pengolahan filosofis atau teoritis dan terkait dengan nilai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori etika santri menurut Imam al-Mawardi dalam kitab adab al-dunya wa al-din secara umum, teorinya memiliki relevansi dengan tujuan pendidikan pesantren dan masih sangat relevan di era ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the biography of Mâjid Irsân Al-Kailâny, the author of Taṭawwur Mafhûm An-Naẓariyyah Al-Tarbawiyyah Al-Islâmiyyah, (2) the Islamic educational methods found in Taṭawwur Mafhûm An-Naẓariyyah Al-Tarbawiyyah Al-Islâmiyyah, and (3) the relevance of the development of Islamic educational methods in this book to contemporary educational methods today. This research is a qualitative study with a library research approach. The primary data source in this study is Taṭawwur Mafhûm An-Naẓariyyah Al-Tarbawiyyah Al-Islâmiyyah by Mâjid Irsân Al-Kailâny, supported by scholarly books and journals related to the discussion in this research as secondary sources. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this study indicate that Taṭawwur Mafhûm An-Naẓariyyah Al-Tarbawiyyah Al-Islâmiyyah by Mâjid Irsân Al-Kailâny contains various Islamic educational methods that are highly relevant to the development of contemporary Islamic education. He applies a variety of methods, sometimes using the lecture method, dialogue method, advice method, and discussion method. These methods are used depending on the conditions and circumstances of the learners. The Islamic educational methods in this book have strong relevance to the development of Islamic educational methods in the modern era. The relevance of the development of Islamic educational methods in Taṭawwur Mafhûm An-Naẓariyyah Al-Tarbawiyyah Al-Islâmiyyah to contemporary educational methods remains highly applicable, not only within households but also in classrooms and schools. In general, these methods complement and support each other.

Abstract

Kemajemukan masyararakat Kota Medan menjadikan potensi perekonomian masyarakat kota ini seharusnya lebi sejahtera namun sampai dengan tahun 2019 masih banyak masyarakat kota Medan belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari yang mana hal tersebut dipengaruhi beberapa factor yaitu inflasi. Inflasi ini terus-menerus terjadi di Kota Medan. Oleh karena itu rencana pemberdayaan masyarakat Tim Pengabdi Universitas Dharmawangsa bekerjasama dengan Asosiasi Eksportir dan Industri Kopi Indonesia (AEKI) dalam hal pengembangan kopi sebagai sentra industry baru yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan perekonomian masyarakat di Kota medan khussunya dan Di Indonesia pada umumnya. Program Kemitraan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi wirausahawan muda. Generasi muda mempunyai potensi yang sangat besar untuk mengoptimalkan dan memanfaatkan kapasitas sesuai dengan potensi budaya kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalan Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah Model Parcipatory Rural Appraissal yaitu metode dengan keterlibatan seluruh masyarakat dalam kegiatan Pengabidan kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan. Dari PKM ini, tahapan yang dilakukan adalah Pendampingan dalam pengidentifikasian potensi wirausahawan muda dalam diskusi yang dilaksanakan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tahapan pada pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini juga mampu memberikan peningkatan bagi seluruh peserta dengan terciptanya iklim diskusi aktif dalam memajukan usaha perkopian di Kota Medan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to integrate moral education values into the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), as contemporary human life is increasingly distant from the fundamental values of Islam, namely the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. This study employs a qualitative research method with a library research approach. The researcher examines the document issued by the Curriculum and Assessment Standards Agency (BSKAP) No. 31/H/KR/2024, which outlines the competencies and themes of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. The findings indicate that in the dimension of faith in God Almighty and noble character, the values of religiosity, honesty, responsibility, and humility serve as the foundation for shaping students' integrity and social awareness. In the dimension of global diversity, values such as tolerance, empathy, politeness, and humility play a crucial role in fostering harmonious relationships in a diverse society. Meanwhile, in the dimension of mutual cooperation, values of responsibility, generosity, environmental awareness, and discipline cultivate a sense of social duty and concern for others and the environment

Abstract

The development of Integrated Islamic Primary Schools is in response to the society’s increasing demand for quality graduates. Thus, the emphasis on the effectiveness of learning in Integrated Islamic Primary Schools (IIPS) necessitates institutional innovation and teacher professionalism. This research investigates the professionalism in IIPS and determines the factors that contribute to teachers' professional practices. The study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. This study employed the “Tarbiyah learning framework” developed by Abdurahman Al-Nahlawi, and the data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations to investigate the dimensions of teacher professionalism, teaching methodologies, and factors affecting teacher professionalism. The findings reveal that there is a mismatch between professional development initiatives and the actual conditions faced by students. Teaching-learning process that is responsive to students needs and characteristics, collaborative learning programs and supervision sctivities are all viable strategies. Teacher professionalism can be identified by demonstrating strong commitment and work discipline. The IIPS also provides structured training programs and collaborative partnerships with the education office to improve relevant teaching competencies and methodologies. Further, the social implications of this research include the availability of high-quality educational options for the community at the primary school level. Furthermore, the varied management system of IIPS serves as a social control to ensure the quality of primary education continues to develop.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Persatuan Mubaligh Muda Sada Kata (PEMUDATA) as a youth missionary association in the development of non-formal Islamic education in the city of Subulussalam. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of the activities carried out by the organization. The results of the study indicate that PEMUDATA has made a significant contribution to expanding access to Islamic education through its da’wah programs, religious training, and youth development initiatives at mosques. The uniqueness of this organization lies in its adaptive approach to the local socio-cultural context and the ability of its members to build intergenerational communication. The practical implications of these findings suggest that youth missionary associations like PEMUDATA can be strategic partners for local governments and Islamic educational institutions in improving religious literacy among the community, especially in areas not fully reached by formal education. This research contributes to the literature on non-formal Islamic education and opens opportunities for developing partnership models between the state, society, and youth religious organizations at the local level.

Abstract

This study examines the relevance of H. Rasyid Bansin’s contributions to Islamic education and their significance for contemporary educational practices. Employing a qualitative approach with a character-study-oriented design, this research collected data through face-to-face interactions and field engagements at the research site. The methodology followed established steps in figure study research to ensure systematic analysis. The findings highlight the enduring relevance of H. Rasyid Bansin’s contributions, particularly through his establishment of modern Islamic boarding schools, integration of foreign language instruction (Arabic and English), promotion of science and technology, founding of formal schools (MTs and MA levels), and cultivation of resilient, socially conscious students. Unlike prior studies that focus solely on the role of historical figures in Islamic education, this research specifically analyzes the relevance of contributions, offering a fresh perspective on how past innovations can inform modern pedagogical practices. The study provides actionable insights for contemporary Islamic educational institutions, suggesting ways to adapt H. Rasyid Bansin’s strategies such as multilingual curricula and holistic student development to current needs. This research enriches the theoretical discourse on Islamic education by bridging historical and modern perspectives. It also serves as a foundation for future studies on the intersection of tradition and innovation in religious education.

Abstract

This study aims to 1. Analyze the forms of bullying behavior of students at the Raudhatul Jannah modern Islamic boarding school in Subulussalam city. 2. The efforts of the dormitory guardian in overcoming bullying behavior at the Raudhatul Jannah modern Islamic boarding school in Subulussalam city. 3. Obstacles of the dormitory guardian in overcoming bullying behavior of students at the Raudhatul Jannah modern Islamic boarding school in Subulussalam city. The type of qualitative research with a case study approach was used in this study. The data sources taken were from the Head of the Raudhatul Jannah Modern Islamic Boarding School, Care, dormitory guardian and students. The data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was bullying behavior in Islamic boarding schools in the form of verification and non-verification before the presence of the dormitory guardian after the presence of the dormitory guardian bullying behavior had decreased significantly (2) The efforts made by the dormitory guardian to avoid bullying behavior were by facilitating students with sports facilities, creating activities, providing advice and supervising students' activities. (3) The obstacles faced by the dormitory guardian were the lack of tolerance among students, parental factors, communication, motivation and advice, and independence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk integrasi ilmu di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Binjai, menganalisis pelaksanaan internalisasi integrasi ilmu dalam pembentukan karakter Islami peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Binjai, dan menganalisis faktor pendukung penghambat integrasi ilmu dalam pembentukan karakter Islami peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Binjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi . Instrumen utama penelitian dibantu pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah display data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Triangulasi yang digunakan untuk menguji keabsahan data adalah triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk integrasi ilmu yang diterapkan adalah dengan perpaduan nilai-nilai illahiyah (ketuhanan) dalam materi pelajaran melalui ayatisasi Al-Qur’an dan Hadis, menanamkan motivasi dan pandangan Al-Qur’an tentang sains. Penerapan itu menunjukkan hasil pada karakter peserta didik yakni, religius, disiplin, toleransi, peduli lingkungan dan mandiri. Terdapat beberapa hal yang menjadi faktor pendukung yakni, pendidik yang profesional, peserta didik yang aktif, sarana yang memadai, kurikulum yang mendukung. Adapun hambatannya antara lain: kurangnya kesadaran pendidik mengenai integrasi ilmu, peserta didik yang tidak berfikir kritis, bahan ajar yang tidak dilengkapi sebagai dasar acuan pembelajaran

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the forms, obstacles, and solutions of media collaboration between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and parents in instilling a sense of responsibility for learning in students at SMP Negeri 3 Sei Rampah. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation studies of PAI teachers, parents, and students. The results indicate that the collaborative media used included WhatsApp groups, letters, face-to-face meetings (POG), and mobile phone communication. Letters were considered effective in conveying information and motivating students, but success depended heavily on the active participation of parents. The main obstacles encountered were a lack of parental response due to busy schedules, limited access to technology, and low awareness of the importance of character education, including responsibility for learning. The solutions implemented included a variety of communication media, socialization of the importance of parents' roles, and regular face-to-face meetings. This study confirms that synergy and intensive communication between PAI teachers and parents through various media are key to successfully instilling a sense of responsibility for learning in students, while also significantly contributing to strengthening character education at school and in the family.Keywords: Media, Collaboration, Responsibility for Learning. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk, hambatan, dan solusi kolaborasi media antara guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan orang tua dalam menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab belajar pada siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Sei Rampah. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru PAI, orang tua, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kolaborasi yang digunakan meliputi grup WhatsApp, surat, pertemuan tatap muka (POG), dan komunikasi telepon genggam. Surat dinilai efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi dan memotivasi siswa, tetapi keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada partisipasi aktif orang tua. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya respon orang tua karena jadwal yang padat, keterbatasan akses teknologi, dan rendahnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan karakter, termasuk tanggung jawab belajar. Solusi yang diterapkan meliputi media komunikasi yang bervariasi, sosialisasi pentingnya peran orang tua, dan pertemuan tatap muka secara berkala. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa sinergi dan komunikasi intensif antara guru PAI dan orang tua melalui berbagai media merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab belajar pada diri siswa, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi penting bagi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dan di keluarga.Kata Kunci: Media, Kolaborasi, Tanggung Jawab untuk Belajar.
