Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital loans and women's savings and loan guidance on the development of MSMEs in Meloak Sepakat Village, Gayo Lues Regency. This study uses primary data sourced from a research questionnaire with a sample of 120 respondents. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression equations, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that capital loans and women's savings and loan coaching have an effect on the development of MSMEs in Meloak Sepakat Village, Gayo Lues Regency, which is known from the multiple linear regression equation Y = 4.281 + 0.299X1 + 0.692X2. The t test results show that capital loans have a significant effect on the development of MSMEs in Meloak Sepakat Village, Gayo Lues Regency. The development of savings and loans for women has a significant effect on the development of MSMEs in Meloak Sepakat Village, Gayo Lues Regency. Then the results of the F test, simultaneously capital loans and women's savings and loan guidance have a significant effect on the development of MSMEs in Meloak Sepakat Village, Gayo Lues Regency.

Abstract

This study examined how utilitarian value, hedonic value, word-of-mouth communication, and celebrity endorsements influence impulsive buying among Generation Z consumers in Aceh, Indonesia, directly and indirectly through shopping lifestyle. A quantitative approach was employed, with 399 respondents aged 15–24 surveyed via cluster sampling in major Aceh cities. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis and PLS-SEM. Results revealed hedonic value, word-of-mouth, and endorsements significantly predicted shopping lifestyles, unlike utilitarian value. Additionally, utilitarian and hedonic value, endorsements, and shopping lifestyle directly influenced impulsive buying, but not word-of-mouth. An indirect effect on impulsive buying through shopping lifestyle was found for hedonic value, word-of-mouth, and endorsements, excluding utilitarian value. These findings suggest producers and marketers should strategically leverage value perceptions, communication channels, and influencer marketing to target Generation Z. Consumers must also exercise prudent spending habits to avoid financial issues or abnormal psychology. Overall, the study provides empirical insight for all stakeholders into the drivers of impulsive consumer behavior during the pandemic.==============================================================================================================ABSTRAK - Beli Sekarang, Pikir Nanti: Perilaku Pembelian Impulsif Generasi Z di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh nilai utilitarian, nilai hedonis, komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut, dan endorsemen selebriti terhadap pembelian impulsif di kalangan Generasi Z di Aceh, Indonesia, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui gaya berbelanja. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei terhadap 399 responden yang berusia 15-24 tahun di kota-kota utama di Aceh, yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster sampling. Hasil analisis jalur dan SEM-PLS menunjukkan bahwa selain nilai utilitarian, semua variabel seperti nilai hedonis, komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut, dan endorsemen mempengaruhi gaya berbelanja secara signifikan. Selain itu, variabel nilai utilitarian dan hedonis, endorsemen, dan gaya hidup berbelanja berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap pembelian impulsif, kecuali variabel komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut. Selanjutnya, terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap pembelian impulsif melalui gaya berbelanja terutama untuk variabel nilai hedonis, komunikasi dari mulut ke mulut, dan endorsemen; hanya variabel nilai utilitarian yang tidak menunjukkan adanya pengaruh. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi produsen dan seller untuk secara strategis memanfaatkan persepsi nilai, saluran komunikasi, dan pemasaran influencer jika ingin menargetkan Generasi Z. Untuk konsumen sendiri, hasil ini menjadi reflektor terhadap kebiasaan belanja yang kurang bijaksana agar terhindar dari masalah keuangan atau psikologis. Secara umum, hasil kajian ini memberikan fakta empiris tentang pendorong perilaku pembelian impulsif yang didapat dijadikan acuan bagi seluruh pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Langsa City, a significant palm oil producer in Aceh Province, generates approximately 724,185 tons of waste annually, with empty fruit bunches (EFB) being the primary type of waste. This significant amount of by-side product coexists with a persistent regional poverty rate (10.23%), creating a critical challenge but also a unique opportunity. This article addresses the issue of unexploited economic potential and unemployment by examining the potential of EFB waste as a valuable resource for community empowerment. The initiative applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) model through a community service program titled “The Langsa Local Community Mushroom Project.” The method involved three key stages: 1) an initial survey to assess community needs, 2) stakeholder socialization to build commitment, and 3) a comprehensive workshop for 40 participants. The workshop provided theoretical and practical training in cultivating mushrooms using EFB as the primary growth medium, utilizing a local waste asset directly. The program yielded significant outcomes. Pre- and post-test assessments revealed a dramatic 37-point increase in participant knowledge, with average scores rising from 45% to 82%. This research demonstrated a successful transfer of skills. Furthermore, the project yielded tangible results, including a functioning community mushroom cultivation site, and fostered a clear behavioral change. Hence, the initiative confirms that the ABCD model is highly effective in transforming a local waste problem into an economic opportunity.[Kota Langsa, sebagai penghasil kelapa sawit utama di Provinsi Aceh, menghasilkan limbah sekitar 724.185 ton per tahun, dengan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) sebagai limbah utama. Kelimpahan produk sampingan ini beriringan dengan tingginya angka kemiskinan daerah (10,23%), yang menciptakan tantangan kritis sekaligus peluang unik. Artikel ini membahas masalah potensi ekonomi yang belum dimanfaatkan dan pengangguran dengan mengeksplorasi penggunaan alternatif limbah TKKS menjadi sumber daya berharga untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat. Inisiatif ini menerapkan model Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui program pengabdian masyarakat berjudul “Projek Jamur untuk Komunitas Lokal Langsa.” Metode yang dilakukan melibatkan tiga tahap utama: 1) survei awal untuk menilai kebutuhan masyarakat, 2) sosialisasi kepada pemangku kepentingan untuk membangun komitmen, dan 3) workshop komprehensif bagi 40 peserta. Workshop ini memberikan pelatihan teoritis dan praktik mengenai budi daya jamur dengan menggunakan TKKS sebagai media tumbuh utama, yang secara langsung memanfaatkan aset limbah lokal. Program ini menghasilkan luaran yang signifikan. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta yang signifikan sebesar 37 poin, dengan nilai rata-rata yang naik dari 45% menjadi 82%. Hal ini menunjukkan keberhasilan diadopsinya keterampilan yang baru. Lebih lanjut, proyek ini menghasilkan luaran berupa lokasi budi daya jamur komunitas yang berfungsi dan mendorong perubahan perilaku yang nyata. Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Afdeling II Bukit Village, Birem Bayeun District, East Aceh Regency, aiming to empower the community through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The main issue identified was the underutilization of natural and environmental resources as productive economic assets. The activities were carried out through several stages, including local asset mapping, training on processing palm fronds into value-added products, training on utilizing family medicinal plants into herbal drinks, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and continuous mentoring. The implementation emphasized community participation, collaboration with village authorities, and the application of simple digital technologies to enhance product marketing. The results showed an increase in community skills in managing local resources, the formation of asset-based business groups, and greater awareness of economic independence based on local potential. In conclusion, the ABCD approach proved effective in fostering rural economic self-reliance through the strengthening of local assets and continuous mentoring integrated with digital innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore family financial management among couples in a Long Distance Marriage (LDM). The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with primary data collected through interviews, surveys, and observation. Informants include lecturers from IAIN Langsa undergoing LDM, selected via snowball sampling. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s qualitative analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that financial management in LDM couples varies depending on the division of roles between husband and wife, with most husbands entrusting financial management to their wives. Savings, investments, debts, and emergency funds/insurance are key components in ensuring financial well-being. This study emphasizes the importance of wise financial management in navigating the challenges of distance and differing roles within LDM families.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kepatuhan pedagang dalam membayar zakat perdagangan di Kota Langsa serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepatuhan tersebut, khususnya dari aspek pemahaman zakat, kendala pelaksanaan, dan tingkat kepercayaan terhadap Baitul Mal sebagai lembaga pengelola zakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menghimpun data primer melalui wawancara mendalam kepada 6 (enam) informan yang terdiri atas 4 (empat) pedagang dan 2 (dua) petugas Baitul Mal Kota Langsa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola kepatuhan dan faktor yang memengaruhinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan pedagang dalam membayar zakat perdagangan masih belum optimal secara normatif. Pertama, dari aspek pemahaman, sebagian besar pedagang belum memahami secara teknis ketentuan nisab, haul, dan mekanisme perhitungan zakat usaha. Kedua, dari aspek pelaksanaan, mayoritas pedagang cenderung menyalurkan zakat secara langsung kepada mustahik dibanding melalui Baitul Mal, sehingga kepatuhan lebih bersifat sosial-karitatif daripada institusional. Ketiga, dari aspek kepercayaan, meskipun citra Baitul Mal dinilai cukup positif, transparansi informasi dan sosialisasi dinilai masih perlu ditingkatkan untuk memperkuat partisipasi pedagang. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada jumlah informan yang relatif terbatas dan berfokus pada pedagang aktif, sehingga belum mencakup perspektif pedagang yang sama sekali tidak menunaikan zakat. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi Baitul Mal dan pemerintah daerah dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan literasi zakat, penguatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas, serta inovasi layanan pembayaran zakat berbasis digital guna mendorong kepatuhan pedagang secara berkelanjutan.
