Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and patient experience on inpatient satisfaction at Dr. Abdul Aziz Regional General Hospital, Singkawang. A quantitative approach was used, with a survey of 165 respondents. Service quality was categorized as good (score 3.7), particularly in the dimensions of reliability, assurance, empathy, and responsiveness. However, the physical evidence dimension was categorized as fair. Patient experience was rated as good (score 3.5), particularly in the hospital environment dimension. Specifically, the dimensions of pain management, medication communication, and discharge information were categorized as fair and need improvement. Patient satisfaction with the implementation of the code of ethics for professional service standards was rated as good, while the implementation of health service standards was categorized as fair. Statistical analysis showed that both service quality (β = 0.510; t = 7.515; Sig. 0.000) and patient experience (β = 0.382; t = 5.633; Sig. 0.000) had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. Service quality had the most dominant influence on patient satisfaction. Therefore, comprehensive and continuous improvement in service quality is highly recommended to optimally enhance patient satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Program  Keluarga Harapan (PKH) by facilitators in supporting the education of children from Beneficiary Families (KPM) in Ciluncat Village using a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving 15 informants, including PKH facilitators, school operators, KPM mothers, and beneficiary children. The analysis is based on four aspects of George C. Edward III’s policy implementation theory: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucracy. The findings indicate that the program implementation has been fairly effective, as shown by active communication, positive facilitator attitudes, and structured operational procedures. However, several challenges remain, including uneven information dissemination, limited facilities and training for facilitators, lack of parental support for children’s education, and slow bureaucratic processes. The needs analysis highlights the importance of improving facilitator capacity, enhancing communication strategies, providing continuous education for parents, and accelerating reporting mechanisms. By optimizing both formal and informal resources, the implementation of PKH in the education sector can be further strengthened to ensure the sustainability of education for children from beneficiary families.

Abstract

Abstract Stunting is influenced by biological factors and broader social determinants, and families formed through early marriage face layered vulnerabilities that weaken household-level prevention. This study aimed to describe stunting prevention behaviors among early married families in Sukahaji Subdistrict, Babakan Ciparay District, Bandung City, using a three-level prevention framework. A qualitative descriptive study was conducted through in-depth interviews with five mothers who married before age 19, selected purposively, supported by key informants (community social workers and posyandu cadres), as well as observation and documentation; data were analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that primary prevention was fragile due to low literacy on stunting and pregnancy nutrition, incomplete understanding of health guidance, psychosocial barriers, and socioeconomic constraints that made pregnancy diets largely dependent on household food availability. Secondary prevention was reactive and relied on posyandu monitoring and cadre prompting, with responses focused on increasing food intake and providing milk, supported by PMT and DASHAT but not consistently grounded in comprehensive nutrition understanding. Tertiary prevention involved gradual behavior change following external guidance, yet sustained home-based rehabilitation was constrained by limited practical nutrition skills, economic barriers, and weak social support, and preventive outreach to adolescents to reduce early marriage was uneven. These findings highlight the central role of posyandu cadres as local connectors and the need to strengthen maternal health literacy, practical caregiving skills, and socioeconomic support to achieve sustainable household-level stunting prevention.
