Abstract

Pendahuluan : Reproductive health education atau pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi merupakan pendidikan yang sangat penting dilakukan khususnya pada usia remaja termasuk di sekolah. Pendidikan yang diberikan tidak hanya tentang seks, namun penting untuk pendidikan tentang perawatan organ reproduksi remaja maupun pengenalan penyakit-penyakit reproduksi. Namun, tidak semua remaja sudah memiliki pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh health education terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja di SMKN 2 Makassar. Metode: Peneitian ini menggunakan desain pre experimental design dengan one group pre-post test design dengan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji paired t tes. Hasil: Terdapat pengaruh health education terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja setelah diberikan health education tentang kesehatan reproduksi yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai P value = 0.001 dengan nilai mean pre test (8.00) dan post test (8.53) Kesimpulan: Health education memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja di SMKN 2 Makassar.

Abstract

Hospitalization-induced anxiety in children can impede healing and lengthen hospitalization. As such, appropriate interventions are needed to reduce their anxiety during hospitalization. For example, brain exercise has been shown to reduce anxiety in children in diverse settings and developmental stages. This study was performed to compare the effect of brain exercise on anxiety in hospitalized school-and preschool-aged children. A pre-experimental pre/ posttest design was used, and 32 children were selected by consecutive sampling. Brain gym was given twice a day for 2 consecutive days. Data were collected from school-aged children by using a modified Zung Sel-Rating Anxiety Scale and Tailor Manifest Anxiety Scale and from preschoolers by utilizing a modified Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale observation sheet. Wilcoxon test results showed that brain gyms were effective in reducing anxiety in school-aged children (p = 0.016) and preschoolers (p = 0.006). Movements during brain exercises could activate the neocortex and parasympathetic nerves that can ease psychic and physical tension. Therefore, brain gym can be an effective intervention to decrease anxiety in preschoolers and school-aged children.Abstrak Brain Gym Efektif Menurunkan Kecemasan Pada Anak Usia Sekolah dan Pra Sekolah di Rumah Sakit. Kecemasan akibat rawat inap pada anak dapat menghambat penyembuhan dan memperpanjang rawat inap. Dengan demikian, intervensi yang tepat diperlukan untuk mengurangi kecemasan mereka selama dirawat di rumah sakit. Misalnya, latihan otak telah terbukti mengurangi kecemasan pada anak-anak dalam berbagai pengaturan dan tahap perkembangan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh senam otak terhadap kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah dan pra-sekolah yang dirawat di rumah sakit. Penelitian menggunakan desain pre-eksperimen pre/ posttest, dan 32 anak dipilih dengan sampel konsekutif. Senam otak diberikan dua kali sehari selama dua hari berturut-turut. Data yang dikumpulkan dari anak-anak usia sekolah menggunakan modifikasi Zung Sel-Rating Anxiety Scale dan Tailor Manifest Anxiety Scale, sedangkan data anak-anak prasekolah menggunakan lembar observasi modifikasi Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa senam otak efektif menurunkan kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah (p = 0,016) dan anak prasekolah (p = 0,006). Gerakan pada saat senam otak dapat mengaktifkan neokorteks dan saraf parasimpatis yang dapat meredakan ketegangan psikis dan fisik. Oleh karena itu, senam otak dapat menjadi intervensi yang efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada anak prasekolah dan usia sekolah. Kata Kunci: kecemasan, prasekolah, senam otak, usia sekolah

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Motivasi belajar mahasiswa masih menjadi persoalan yang penting untuk ditingkatkan. Pada masa pandemi bahkan sampai post-pandemi saat ini, pembelajaran jarak jauh sudah menjadi kebiasaan baru bagi mahasiswa keperawatan demi tetap mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Beberapa metode yang dapat digunakan diantaranya adalah model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Team Game Tournament dan e-Gallery Walk. Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya motivasi belajar jarak jauh yang mempengaruhi keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan: penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode pembelajaran Online Team Game Tournament dan e-Gallery Walk dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar jarak jauh mahasiswa keperawatan. Metode: merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-eksperimen (posttest only with control group design) Variabel penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar mahasiswa setelah mengikuti model pembelajaran Online Team Game Tournament dan e-Gallery Walk. Sampel berjumlah 22 yang didapatkan dengan teknik purposive sampling yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Hasil: dengan analisis independent T-Test menunjukkan nilai p value 0.112 atau p value < 0.05 yang menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan motivasi belajar pada model pembelajaran E-Gallery walk dengan model pembelajaran Online Team Game Tournament. Nilai signifikansi Levene’s test 0.770 yang berarti varians data kedua kelompok sama.  Motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah sistem informasi keperawatan dengan  materi telenursing sebagian besar pada kategori baik setelah melalui proses pembelajaran dengan model e-Gallery walk maupun Online Team Game Tournament. Kesimpulan: kedua metode ini efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Model e-Gallery walk dan Online Team Game Tournament ini dapat menjadi pilihan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh.

Abstract

Readiness to face flood disasters remains a problem that needs to be addressed. This research aims to determine flood disaster preparedness based on gender. The study employs a descriptive observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consists of 60 heads of households selected through simple random sampling techniques. Data collection utilizes a disaster preparedness instrument, followed by statistical analysis using the Mann-Whitney test. The results of this research indicate no statistical difference in preparedness between men and women in facing floods. However, item analysis reveals that men tend to take the initiative to act, while women are more dominant in planning for flood preparedness. Considering gender perspectives is essential in facing floods to empower individuals according to their potential.

Abstract

Introduction: Patient satisfaction is one of the goals of improving healthcare service quality. The level of patient satisfaction in 2020 in several provinces in Indonesia showed a satisfaction rate of 42.8% in Central Maluku and 44.4% in West Sumatra, with 58.6% overall. This indicates that patient satisfaction still needs to be improved. One factor contributing to low patient satisfaction is the implementation of patient safety, and the caring behavior of nurses is crucial in meeting patient satisfaction. Low service quality can lead to patient dissatisfaction and various complaints.Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between caring behavior and the implementation of patient safety with patient satisfaction in inpatient wards. Methods: This research is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach, with sampling techniques employing proportional random sampling, resulting in a sample size of 162 individuals. Data collection for each variable was conducted using a questionnaire.Results: Based on statistical tests using the Fisher exact test, a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05) was obtained, indicating a relationship between caring behavior and patient satisfaction. Additionally, the Fisher exact test yielded a p-value of 0.004 (p<0.05), suggesting a relationship between the implementation of patient safety and patient satisfaction.Conclusion: There is a relationship between caring behavior and the implementation of patient safety with patient satisfaction in inpatient wards.

Abstract

Background: Nurses' work motivation is still a problem in nursing services in hospitals, which is the main key to the success of health service development. Nurses who feel dual role conflict is a severe problem that can affect work motivation, especially in women.Purpose: This study aims to find out the relationship between dual role conflict of female nurses with work motivation at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Hospital.Methods: This research design is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. A total of 134 respondents were obtained by cluster random sampling. Data collection used questionnaires of dual role conflict and work motivation.Results: The results showed that the most female nurses' dual role conflict was in the low category of 74 respondents (55.2%) and the least was in the high category of 60 respondents (44.8%). Meanwhile, the most work motivation in the high category is 118 respondents (88.1%), and the least in the low category is 16 people (11.9%). Based on the cross-tabulation results of the Continuity Correction test, the p-value is 0.001.Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the dual role conflict of female nurses and work motivation at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Hospital Therefore, it is important for nurses, especially female nurses at Syekh Yusuf Gowa Hospital, to manage psychological well-being so that the dual

Abstract

Background: The nursing management process starts with planning, organizing, commanding/coordinating, and controlling. One part of the controlling function is the nursing documentation audit. Nursing documentation audit is a professional evaluation process on the quality of nursing services which have been carried out by the nursing and midwifery profession against patients, namely through patient medical records. Objective: Nurses can implement nursing documentation audits at Ar-Raudah 1 room of Makassar Hajj Hospital. Methods: This study used a case study method. This study implemented education through leaflet media to enhance nurses' knowledge in implementing nursing documentation audits. A total of 14 nurses participated in this study. Data collection was obtained from interviews, observations and questionnaires. Results: The findings showed that the pre-test nurses' knowledge on P3 as many as 10 nurses (71.4%) answered correctly and as many as 4 nurses (28.6%) answered incorrectly. As for P7, 14 nurses (100%) answered incorrect. An increase in knowledge occurred during the post test, namely P3 (100%) and P7 (100%). After nursing implementation, namely education through leaflet media, it showed that nurses' knowledge increased in the application of nursing documentation audits. Conclusion: Nurses at Ar-Raudah 1 room of Makassar Hajj Hospital show an increase knowledge about nursing documentation audits.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi di berbagai bidang, termasuk pelayanan kesehatan, pendidikan, dan penelitian, merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dihindari dalam era transformasi digital. Mahasiswa keperawatan perlu memiliki kemampuan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, terutama dalam bidang informatika keperawatan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi dan kompetensi informatika keperawatan pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif cross-sectional dengan 152 responden dari 215 mahasiswa keperawatan. Sampel diambil secara stratified random berdasarkan tahun akademik. Instrumen diadaptasi dari penelitian terdahulu dan telah teruji validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square, Kruskal-Wallis dengan post-hoc Dwass-Steel-Critchlow-Fligner, dan One-Way ANOVA. Hasil: Sebanyak 52.6% mahasiswa memiliki kompetensi baik dan 47.4% memiliki kompetensi cukup. Selain itu, 61.8% mahasiswa menunjukkan persepsi positif terhadap informatika keperawatan, sedangkan 38.2% memiliki persepsi negatif. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi dan kompetensi informatika keperawatan (p = 0.012). Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis memperlihatkan bahwa mahasiswa tahun kedua dan ketiga tidak memiliki perbedaan persepsi (p = 0.332), sedangkan mahasiswa tahun kedua dan keempat menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna (p < 0.0001). Uji One-Way ANOVA menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan kompetensi antar jenjang tahun akademik (p = 0.020). Terdapat hubungan antara persepsi dan kompetensi informatika keperawatan pada mahasiswa. Perbedaan persepsi dan kompetensi antar jenjang tahun akademik menegaskan perlunya penguatan kurikulum serta penerapan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di institusi pendidikan keperawatan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan digital mahasiswa
