Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk alih kode dan faktor terjadinya alih kode atara penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Kuala Singkawang. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Kuala Singkawang. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah penggalan tuturan penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Kuala Singkawang. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah teknik sadap. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bentuk alih kode pada masyarakat multietnis di Pasar Kuala Singkawang berjumlah 20 tuturan sedangkan untuk jenis alih kode  dalam peristiwa tutur penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Kuala Singkawang dibedakan menjadi alih kode antarbahasa dan alih kode antarragam bahasa. Untuk faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya peristiwa alih kode dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) mitra tutur, (2) pokok pembicaraan, dan (3) maksud dan tujuan tutur.

Abstract

This activity was a socialization and training to citizen in order to apply computer into learning process in the elementary schools. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for the use of ICT especially computer and internet and foster interest and motivation of students to learn. The target in this task were all of students of SDN 62 in East Singkawang Sub-District. The methods used in PPM activities are briefing and simulation. The advantage of this activity could be obtained by participation of students in this social activities was provided the knowledge and skills on implementation of ICT as a tool of learning so that elementary school students more skilled in their class. These training activities can also contribute to the advancement and development of technology

Abstract

Along with the times, food has also experienced a significant development. Starting from a variety of processed foods, which can be served in various new forms and variations. During the growth period, children usually prefer snacks as snacks compared to eating healthy foods such as vegetables and fruits. Snacks that are developing today contain more colorful foods and contain harmful substances. The purpose of this socialization is so that children pay more attention to the snacks they consume. The method used is the first survey, the second choosing the location of service, the third collection of materials/materials, the fourth preparation of the material, the fifth meeting with the school wedding, the sixth implementation of the activity, the seventh documentation and the eighth activity reporting. The results obtained are that the implementation of the service carried out in Gersik Village, Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency went well and ran smoothly, which can be seen from the enthusiasm of the children when participating in the activities and indications that students have experienced an increased understanding of healthy snacks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dalam meningkatkan menulis teks berita. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP Negeri 16 Singkawang. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana hasil menulis teks berita. keterlaksanaan, peningkatan, aktivitas dan respon siswa dalam menulis teks berita dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Bentuk penelitian pre-eksperimental design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VIII dengan jumlah 211. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive maka didapat  kelas VIII A dengan jumlah 24 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran menulis teks berita nilai skor post-test 12,63 dan skor pre-test 9,83 dari data tersebut dilakukan perhitungan N-Gain  sebesar 0,54 dengan kategori sedang, artinya terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks berita dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Hasil keterlakasanaan mencapai nilai 94,45 dengan kategori sangat baik. Data rataa-rata aktivitas siswa menunjukkan perilaku negatif sebesar 6,13% dan perilaku positif sebesar 93,84%. Data respon siswa menunjukan penggunaan model pembelajaran PjBL menunjukkan respon positif yaitu 88,74% dan negatif 11,25%.

Abstract

Data collection techniques using note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniquesused are data identification, classification, analysis and conclusions. Abstract

Students at MTs Ushuluddin Singkawang face several challenges in learning the Indonesian language, particularly in writing literary works. Based on observations and interviews, it was found that most students have low self-confidence, limited literacy skills, and a lack of creativity in expressing ideas through writing. Their written works generally consist of summaries of lesson materials rather than creative literary pieces such as short stories. To address these issues, the implementation team carried out a Community Service Program (PkM) in the form of a short story writing workshop aimed at enhancing students’ creativity, literacy skills, and self-confidence in literary writing. The workshop was conducted through four main stages: (1) preparation, including material development, coordination with the school, and participant selection; (2) training implementation, involving the delivery of short story writing techniques and hands-on practice; (3) mentoring for story production, providing guidance in drafting and revising students’ works; and (4) evaluation through assessment of the final works and measurement of improvement using pretests and posttests. A total of 27 students from class VIIIC participated in this activity. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ short story writing skills, with 77.8% achieving a “very high” category and 22.2% achieving a “high” category. Participant satisfaction was also high, with 92.59% expressing they were “very satisfied” and 7.40% “satisfied” with the program. Although some students still struggled with spelling and mechanics, overall the workshop effectively enhanced students’ understanding, motivation, and self-confidence in creative writing. Therefore, the short story writing workshop proved to be an effective means of developing students’ creative potential while strengthening the culture of literacy in schools..

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam cerita rakyat Raja Sinadin karya Harianto serta implementasinya dalam modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia di jenjang SMA. Cerita rakyat sebagai warisan budaya lokal memiliki potensi besar dalam penguatan karakter peserta didik, namun masih minim kajian akademik terkait integrasinya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan landasan sosiologi sastra. Data berupa kutipan yang mengandung nilai karakter dikumpulkan melalui teknik membaca dan mencatat. Hasil analisis menemukan 24 data nilai olah hati, 22 olah pikir, 2 olah raga, dan 6 olah rasa dan karsa. Nilai-nilai tersebut selaras dengan Capaian Pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka untuk kelas X Fase E, khususnya dalam aspek pemahaman dan evaluasi teks. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa cerita rakyat dapat menjadi media yang efektif untuk penguatan karakter sekaligus pelestarian budaya. Oleh karena itu, disarankan pemanfaatannya dalam modul ajar secara kontekstual dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Didasari oleh permasalahan kurangnya pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya menulis karya ilmiah serta kurangnya keterampilan siswa dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah. Maka dari itu, Kegiatan PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan minat menulis, khususnya menulis karya ilmiah bagi pelajar SMKN 2 Singkawang dengan memberikan solusi yakni menggunakan teknik ringkas yang dapat mempermudah dan membantu siswa untuk memahami Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan utama yaitu: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi Kegiatan. Evaluasi dilakukan dalam bentuk Observasi oleh tim pelaksana untuk mengamati partisipasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam setiap sesi pelatihan. Selain itu juga diberikan angket respon untuk mengetahui tingkat kebermanfaatan pelatihan yang diberikan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam setiap sesi pelatihan, secara keseluruhan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik dilihat dari keterampilan siswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah, antusiasme, tingkat pemahaman siswa, dan keaktifan siswa selama mengikuti pelatihan.   Selain itu, hasil angket respon menunjukkan 72 siswa (87%) dari 83 siswa kelas X yang berpendapat kegiatan pelatihan teknik ringkas dalam menulis karya ilmiah  ini sangat bermanfaat. Dan sebanyak 80 siswa (94%) dari 85 siswa kelas XI juga berpendapat hal yang sama pada kegiatan tersebut. Jadi, kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan memberikan dampak yang positif bagi siswa dan dirasakan kebermanfaatannya untuk para siswa SMKN 2 Singkawang

Abstract

This research aims to describe the cultural ecology in Danum novel by Abroorza A. Yusra using Julian Steward's perspective, namely: 1) describing the relationship between the environment and the use of technology and production in Danum novel by Abroorza A. Yusra, 2) describing the behavioural patterns of exploitation of the area related to technology in culture in Danum novel by Abroorza A. Yusra, 3) describing the relationship of the level of influence of the patterns of environmental utilization system on culture in Danum novel by Abroorza A. Yusra and, 4) describing the implementation of research results on literature learning in schools. This type of research is qualitative research with the data collection method using literature and note-taking techniques. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study explain that in the novel Danum: 1) the relationship between the environment and the use of technology in Danum novels is illustrated by the use of traditional technology such as nets, snares (bajang), machetes (iso hajok), spears and canoes in daily activities, 2) behaviour patterns of exploiting the area related to technology in Danum novels by the Dayak Uud Danum community include farming rice and rubber, hunting pigs, deer, other animals, looking for fish in the river, gathering, and looking for agarwood, 3) the influence of behavioural patterns of environmental utilization with other elements or aspects of the culture of the Dayak Uud Danum people in the Danum novel is shown in four aspects, namely the knowledge system, beliefs, arts, and language. 4) Implementation of the research results in the form of teaching modules in Senior High School class XII even semester with Learning Objective (LO) 12.5: Learners are able to read to assess and criticise characterisation and plot in narrative texts, as well as the authenticity of the depiction of society in novel texts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the satire language style in Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel in 2023, as well as the implementation of research results in class X Indonesian language lesson plans. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive form. The data source of this research is the subpoena video in Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel in 2023, and the data of this research is in the form of speech related to the sarcasm language style in the subpoena video in Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel in 2023. The data collection technique in this research uses documentary study techniques. This research is analyzed using Gorys Keraf's theory, which focuses on speech related to irony, cynicism, sarcasm, satire, inuendo, antiphrasis, and paronomasia. The results of this study found 67 data included in the satire language style, the data obtained include irony 5 data, cynicism 21 data, sarcasm 15 data, satire 18 data, inuendo 2 data, antiphrasis no data found, and paronomasia 6 data. The results of this study are planned to be implemented in the teaching module of the independent curriculum on learning materials related to satirical language styles in the YouTube application in class X material for Senior High School (SMA), namely in Chapter 2: Expressing Criticism Through Smiles. Language learning materials in class X SMA Indonesian lessons, contained in the Learning Outcomes (CP) and Learning Flows and Objectives (ATP) which are included in the phase E category. In more detail, namely in the CP Reading and Viewing Elements in phase E with learning objectives: 2.1 Learners are able to listen to aural anecdote text in order to evaluate the ideas and messages conveyed in the monologue text of a single joke critically and reflectively and 2.3 Learners are able to use the language rules used in conveying social criticism.
