Abstract

The purpose of the research is to examine the influence of attitude, education , and family environment on interest in entrepreneurship among young people. This research uses probability sampling and data collection is carried out by the methods of questionnaire that is deployed on the respondents and processed using SPSS Statistics 25. The population in this research is among young people, especially the Millennial Generation and Generation Z domiciled in Garut, West Java who have attended entrepreneurship lessons or courses and sampled in this research are 102 respondents. Sampling techniques in the research carried out by simple random sampling. Its data type is primary data. The results of this research indicate that (1) Attitude has a significant effect on Interest in Entrepreneurship by 41.2% (2) Education has a significant effect on Interest in Entrepreneurship by 50.9% (3) Family environment has a significant effect on Interest in Entrepreneurship by 61.3% (4) Attitude, Education, and Family Environment has a significant effect on Interest in Entrepreneurship by 68.5% and the rest is influenced by variables not mentioned in this study.

Abstract

The high level of unemployment has required various parties to try to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the community, especially university students. One way to overcome the problem of unemployment and improve the Indonesian economy is to increase the spirit of entrepreneurship and increase individual confidence in facing all the obstacles that occur to becoming an entrepreneur. In addition, entrepreneurship programs are expected to improve the Indonesian economy and create young entrepreneurs with undergraduate backgrounds that can help the government reduce unemployment. This study aimed to determine self-efficacy's effect on entrepreneurial intentions among students in Bandung City. This study is intended to examine the impact of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions. This study's population was students pursuing undergraduate education in Bandung City. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The sample used in this study was 400 respondents distributed via Google Forms and then processed using SPSS statistics 26 using a purposive sampling technique. The analytical tools used in this study are classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results stated that the self-efficacy variable has a positive and significant effect of 63% on entrepreneurial intention. While the remaining 37% is influenced by other variables not mentioned in this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of price and product quality on consumer purchase decisions of "Ibu Ida Potato Chips". Data were collected by questionnaire distribution technique using a Likert scale. The population in this study is Mrs. Ida's potato chips consumers who have purchased potato chips in Garut Regency. The sample was selected using accidental sampling and a sample of 100 respondents was obtained using the zikmund formula. In this study, it uses classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis tests. The hypothesis testing consists of a t-test, an f-test, and a coefficient of determination. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of price variables and product quality on purchase decision variables of 31.9% while the remaining 68.1% was influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study. When viewed individually, the price variable has an effect of 0.257 or 25.7% on the purchase decision. Meanwhile, the product quality variable has an effect of 0.239 or 23.9% on the purchase decision.

Abstract

The limited access to technology-based entrepreneurship training and the lack of practical mentoring present real obstacles for communities competing amidst the digital transformation. The primary problem lies in the inadequate understanding and skills needed to optimally utilize digital technology for business activities. The training method used included an opening session, a question-and-answer session, the implementation of the activity, and a closing session. The results of this community service activity identified that providing independent entrepreneurship training in the digital era provides a relevant contribution in encouraging the community to develop a deeper understanding of the integration of independent entrepreneurship into the context of everyday life. This training provides the community in Yogyakarta with a deeper understanding of independent entrepreneurship as a means of improving their entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

The fact that digitalization still exists in the field can help MSMEs improve the efficiency of their financial management. Strengthening understanding of digitalization issues plays a crucial role in helping MSMEs improve their financial management efficiency. This community service activity involved lectures, collaboration, and mentoring to directly implement a simple financial management system for MSMEs in Garut. The activities involved lectures, collaboration, and mentoring to directly implement a simple financial management system for MSMEs in Garut. The results of this activity interpreted the simple yet effective digital-based financial management system. The training materials were designed based on the needs of MSMEs who desire a system that is easy, cost-effective, and can be directly applied to daily operations. This increased participants' understanding of basic financial management concepts.

Abstract

A lack of understanding and skills in proper financial record-keeping makes it difficult for business owners to manage cash flow, determine the cost of goods manufactured, measure business profitability, and access capital from financial institutions. This training method utilizes accounting management training in an entrepreneurial context, which can be delivered through a multifaceted approach, combining formal learning and hands-on practice in the field. This training utilizes a participatory approach, technical guidance, and the use of digital tools. The results of this community service activity identified that a comprehensive and practical accounting management training program is a strategic step to improve the ability of MSMEs to adapt and compete in an increasingly complex market. Accounting management training aims not only to provide technical knowledge but also to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs as part of the broader economic system.

Abstract

Reliance on traditional practices and a lack of access to entrepreneurship training further exacerbate these conditions. The lack of financial literacy among tobacco entrepreneurs makes it difficult for them to maintain financial records, manage capital, plan long-term finances, and make strategic business decisions. This dependence on traditional practices and a lack of access to entrepreneurship training further exacerbate these conditions. The activity was implemented through a participatory and applied approach, with the aim of increasing the capacity of tobacco entrepreneurs in financial management and entrepreneurship literacy. The implementation method was divided into three main stages: preparation, training, and evaluation and follow-up mentoring. The results of this community service activity can improve the managerial capacity of tobacco entrepreneurs in Garut Regency, support their business growth, and contribute positively to the local economy. Through this activity, it is hoped that entrepreneurs will not only understand financial literacy but also be able to make strategic business decisions for future business sustainability. Therefore, training on the elements of financial literacy will help participants understand the importance of financial planning, cash management, and financial reporting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh mayoritas UMKM di Kabupaten Garut yang mayoritas berskala mikro yaitu sebesar 86%. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu pengaruh dari literasi keuangan, inklusi keuangan dan pengelolaan keuangan terhadap kinerja UMKM di kabupaten garut. Adapun untuk metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif menggunakan SEM-PLS sebagai metode analisisnya dimana analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji outer model, uji inner model dan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan menentukan nilai r-square, f-square, dan t-statistic. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 pelaku UMKM di Kabupaten Garut yang terdaptar sebagai UMKM pemilik NIB (Nomor Induk Berwirausaha). Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Literasi keuangan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Sedangkan inklusi keuangan dan pengelolaan keuangan berpengaruh positif signifikan

Abstract

The use of social media not only provides opportunities for more efficient marketing but also helps build strong brand awareness among consumers. However, there remains a gap in digital literacy and skills among MSME entrepreneurs in rural areas, necessitating a comprehensive training program to bridge this gap. This community service program is designed through a participatory, educational, and applied approach, so that village MSMEs not only gain knowledge but also practical skills that can be immediately applied. This program is designed to address the challenges faced by village MSMEs in the digital era, where social media-based marketing and digital payment systems like QRIS have become fundamental requirements for business continuity. The results of this program demonstrate that the digitalization of village MSMEs is not merely an option but an urgent need. The use of social media has proven to expand market reach, while QRIS provides a practical and secure payment solution.
