Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discover the role of independent commissioners and audit committees to improve financial performance both simultaneously and in part. The paper objects used were all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017, using a purposive sampling technique. Data on the company's annual financial statements and annual financial reports are obtained from the official website of the IDX. This paper was added in the study. The data analysis method used in this update is regression analysis in the data panel. This study uses the transition from Good Corporate Gorvernance, an independent board of commissioners and an audit board as an audit measure in this study. The results showed that the simultaneous independent board of commissioners had a significant effect on financial performance (ROA, ROE). The audit committee has a negative and not significant effect on financial performance (ROA, ROE).

Abstract

To invest in the capital market, investors must know that in addition to receiving profits, they will also suffer losses. One of the motives of inventors to invest is to get a maximum rate of return with certain risk or obtain a certain rate of return on minimal risk. This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity and profitability on stock returns. The population is a manufacturing company which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017 periods. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method with predetermined criteria and obtained a sample of 34 companies with 170 observations. The data of the financial statement of the companies has been obtained from the official website of IDX. The analytical method used is regression analysis of panel data with the help of application E-Views 8. Panel data regression can be estimated using three models, namely Common Effect Model (CEM), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM). To get the best model, a further test was used, namely the Chow Test and Hausman Test. From the results of the estimation model, it is found that REM is the best model in this study. Furthermore, the results of the study show that liquidity has a positive and not significant effect on stock returns, while profitability has a positive and significant effect on stock returns.

Abstract

The government estimates that the manufacturing industry sector which will slow down in 2017 will experience another depress in 2018, if the company's capability is low then the company's value will also be lowered. This study aims to analyze the influence of the independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board of commissioners, leverage and audit committee on the value of the company in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The samples in this study were 8 companies and 40 observations. This research uses the company's annual financial statement data and summary reports from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The method of data analysis is panel data regression. The results showed that the independent board of commissioners, board of commissioners, leverage, audit committee had no significant effect on the value of the company (PBV). Institutional ownership and managerial ownership have a positive and significant effect on the value of the company.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn 2018 Indonesian manufacturing companies were asked to Debt Restructuring, meaning that they were included in the Delayed Obligation of Debt Payment (PKPU) throughout 2018. While manufacturing companies recorded 18 PKPU requests, according to Law 37/2004 on PKPU and bankruptcy, on condition that debtors have fallen debt. due, and can be billed and can be proven simply (Kontan.co.id). This study is to examine the effect of free cash flow, profitability, dividend policy and company size on the leveraga of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of manufacturing companies at the end of the 2018 period is 162 companies. Purposive sampling technique of sampling, 8 companies as samples. Financial report data from the official IDX website. Using the panel data regression analysis method is assisted by the E-Views 8 application. The initial test is to test the chow-test to decide whether the pooled least square or fixed effect method is used; and the Hausman-test to determine the fixed or random effect method used. the results showed that free cash flow had no effect on leverage, profitability had a significant negative effect on leverage, dividend policy had a significant negative effect on leverage, and company size had no effect on leverage.Keywords: Free Cash Flow, Profitability, Dividend Policy, Company Size, Leverage

This study is intended to examine leverage analysis reviewed from devident policy factors and size of companies in manufacturing companies listed in indonesia stock exchange. The population is manufacturing companies at the end of the 2018 period, amounting to 163 companies. The sample collection technique using a purposive sampling method, 9 companies as samples. Data financial statements obtained from the official website of IDX. Used is panel data regression analysis with the help of E-Views 8 application. The initial test is to test the Chow-Test to decide whether the Pooled Least Square or Fixed Effect method is used; and the Hausman-Test to decide whether the Fixed Effect or Random Effect method can be used. Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), BOPO, Net Interest Margin (NIM), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) for Return On Asstes (ROA). The number of samples used are 9 commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016. The method used in this study using multiple regression analysis using Eviews 6. From the results of tests performed show that CAR statistically does not significantly influence tehadap ROA, BOPO significantly influence teh ROA, NPL has significant effect to ROA, different from NIM which has no significant effect on ROA, and LDR has significant effect on ROA. Abstract

The stock price of companies listed in the LQ45 Index has decreased almost in all sectors, except the mining and infrastructure sectors are still in the green zone. This study aims to examine the effect of Return on Equity on stock prices and the size of the Company on the company's stock price. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, while the data used was secondary data in the form of financial report data. The model is estimated using data panel regression, namely Common Effects Models (CEM), Fixed Effects Models (FEM), and Random Effects Models (REM). The results of this study indicate that financial performance has no significant effect on stock prices, and the size of the company also has no significant effect on stock prices.

The role of human resources is very important in an organization, both for profit and non-profit organizations. The success of an organization is very important. influenced by the performance of an employee. This study aims to test emotional intelligence on employee performance, to test intellectual intelligence on employee performance, to test job satisfaction on employee performance. The sampling method uses a saturated total sampling of 30 samples, using normality testing and multiple linear regression. The results showed that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Intellectual intelligence has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of interest rates SBI and Inflation on the performance of Sham Mutual Funds. This research uses Monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) of equity mutual funds registered with the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), as well as monthly data on SBI Interest Rates and Inflation obtained from Bank Indonesia monthly report. By using purposive sampling method selected fourteen equity mutual funds that are active and always exist in five years research to analyze as sample. Indicators used in Determining the performance of equity mutual funds is the Sharpe ratio method. Statistical test that used in this research is multiple regression test. Research result shows that the SBI Interest Rate and Inflation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of equity funds.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, organizational culture, work environment, and work facilities on the performance of employees at Hotel Ibis Padang. This research uses a quantitative method. The population in this study consists of all employees of Hotel Ibis Padang. The number of sample members was determined using the total sampling formula, resulting in 74 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire distributed to the employees of Hotel Ibis Padang. The data used in this research is primary data. The hypothesis in this study was tested using multiple regression analysis. The research results show that leadership style has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, work environment has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, and work facilities have a positive and significant impact on employee performance.
