Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest multicultural countries in the world. This reality can be seen through the diverse and extensive socio-cultural and geographical conditions. This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) instructional model for the multicultural education. This research used qualitative and quantitative methods. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and literature study. The results showed that multicultural education can be used as a strategic instrument to develop awareness of one's pride in one's ethnic group. Multicultural education is also very relevant to a pluralistic society such as Indonesia, which emphasizes an understanding of multi-ethnicity, multi-religion, and multiculturalism which requires a new construction of justice, equality and a democratic society. The application of integrative multicultural education can use a cooperative learning model, namely the Inside-Outside Circle (IOC) linstructional model and the application of multicultural education in an integrated curriculum with other subjects such as in the Sociology Education program.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed to analyze and describe the representation of social class in the Snowpiercer (2013) and its benefits to study sociology in senior high school. The type of approach in this research was a qualitative descriptive method with the Snowpiercer (2013) as the data source. The data collection technique used documentation technique. Data analysis was content analysis by applying the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that the representation of social class was very dominant and played an important role in the plot and narrative of the Snowpiercer (2013), including: a) upper class vs lower class; b) exploitation and oppression; c) resistance and revolution; d) visual symbolism; e) upper class decadence; and f) manipulation of information. Then, the benefits of the Snowpiercer (2013) in studying sociology of senior high school including: visualizing social structure in learning material, visualizing social inequality in learning material, visualizing diversity and identity in learning, and visualizing rebellion and social change in learning.Abstrak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan representasi kelas sosial dalam Snowpiercer (2013) dan manfaatnya dalam pembelajaran sosiologi di SMA. Jenis pendekatan pada penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif analisis dengan objek Snowpiercer (2013) sebagai sumber datanya. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data adalah analisis isi dengan menerapkan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa representasi kelas sosial sangat dominan dan memainkan peran penting dalam plot dan narasi Snowpiercer (2013) antara lain: a) kelas atas vs kelas bawah; b) eksploitasi dan penindasan; c) perlawanan dan revolusi; d) simbolisme visual; e) dekadensi kelas atas; dan f) manipulasi informasi. Kemudian adapun manfaat Snowpiercer (2013) dalam pembelajaran sosiologi di SMA antara lain: memvisualisasikan struktur sosial dalam materi pembelajaran, memvisualisasikan ketimpangan sosial dalam materi pembelajaran, memvisualisasikan diversitas dan identitas dalam pembelajaran, dan memvisualisasikan pemberontakan dan perubahan sosial dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to the learning activities of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Bangkala III Makassar City. This research is a quantitative research with the type of experimental research with the pre-experimental form of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was class IVB as many as 23 people consisting of 14 male students and 9 female students. The sampling technique in this study was by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS version 20 computer program. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's ability to carry out integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to student learning activities gets an average of 3.2, which means well implemented, the assessment student activity in learning gets an average of 3.0 in the good category, then for the assessment of student activity in integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach gets an average of 3.1 in the good category. As for the results of implementing integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to the learning activities of class IVB students, the results of inferential analysis are described, where the normality test data is 0.078, the homogeneity test is 0.087 and the T test results are 0.000. So that the results of the study show that there is an effect of implementing integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to the learning activities of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Bangkala III Makassar City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the application of video-based interactive multimedia learning media assisted by the Wondershare Filmora application in sociology learning at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa, and (2) improving student learning outcomes through video-based interactive multimedia learning media assisted by the Wondershare Filmora application in sociology learning. in senior high school. This research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research objects are Class X students of SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. Data sources in this research are interviews, observations, tests and documentation. The data in this research were analyzed using descriptive quantitative statistical analysis. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results obtained (1) through the application of Wondershare Filmora media can help teachers create interesting, unique and interactive learning media in the classroom learning process. (2) Based on the results of the first cycle and second cycle tests, 35 students were declared to have met the KKM. This research has implications for the application of videobased interactive multimedia learning media, learning in the classroom takes place actively and interactively, students appear more enthusiastic and motivated to pay attention to what is displayed and explained directly by the teacher. This can certainly improve student learning outcomes, especially in Sociology subjects for students at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui bagaimana pencitraan diri yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Megarezky. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik informan snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Dalam melakukan pencitraan diri dimedia sosial Mahasiswa Pendidikan Sosiologi FKIP Universitas Megarezky perlu adanya sebuah panggung sebagai tempat yang dapat dibagi dua yakni panggung depan (Front stage) dan panggung belakang (Back stage).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between work burden, service quality, and the well-being of non-ASN healthcare workers in the psychiatric inpatient unit of RSUD Batara Guru. The research used a quantitative correlational design (Kendall's Tau Test) with a cross-sectional approach. The data was collected from 30 non-ASN healthcare workers in the psychiatric inpatient unit using purposive sampling. The results showed that: (1) Work burden significantly affects service quality (ρ = 0.000 < 0.05), with a negative correlation indicating that higher work burden leads to lower service quality; (2) Work burden significantly affects the well-being of non-ASN healthcare workers (ρ = 0.010 < 0.05), with a negative correlation suggesting that higher work burden leads to lower well-being; (3) Service quality significantly affects the well-being of non-ASN healthcare workers (ρ = 0.001 < 0.05), with a positive correlation indicating that better service quality leads to better well-being. This research highlights the importance of managing work burden and improving service quality to enhance the well-being of healthcare workers.

Abstract

SD Inpres Borong Jambu II juga menghadapi tantangan berdasarkan pengamatan/wawancara yang dilakukan oleh Tim Pengabdian melalui pihak sekolah menekankan kepada guru-guru untuk menerapkan kurikulum merdaka berdiperensiasi dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan menumbuhkan daya saing untuk berprestasi siswa dan alumninya. Oleh karena itu, Guru SD di Kota Makassar khsusunya SD Inpres Borong Jambu II memerlukan dukungan dalam mengadaptasi Kurikulum Merdeka berdiperensiasi yang berbeda dari kurikulum sebelumnya. Perangkat pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan berbagai bahan ajar dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam upaya mencapai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan hasil post-test tentang pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka berdiferensiasi yaitu 3,67% dengan kategori sangat paham. Sedangkan hasil post-test tentang pemahaman peserta dalam pemanfaatan media aplikasi bandicam berbasis digital yaitu 3,59% dengan kategori sangat baik sehingga pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Borong Jambu II dapat menigkatkan kualitas perencanaan dan iplementasi dalam prose pembelajaran disekolah

Abstract

Kecerdasan sosial merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dikembangkan sejak dini untuk mendukung keberhasilan anak dalam kehidupan sosial dan akademik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada peran orang tua, interaksi antara orang tua dan guru, serta strategi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan sosial anak di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Muhammadiyah Samallangi. Konteks budaya dan nilai agama yang kuat di lokasi penelitian menjadikannya relevan untuk mengidentifikasi pola interaksi dan pembiasaan yang mendukung perkembangan sosial anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua dan guru, observasi partisipatif, serta analisis dokumen. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk menentukan responden yang memiliki keterlibatan langsung dengan perkembangan sosial anak. Data dianalisis secara tematik untuk menggali pola interaksi dan strategi yang relevan dalam mendukung kecerdasan sosial. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peran orang tua sebagai pendidik utama, komunikasi rutin antara orang tua dan guru, serta pola asuh demokratis menjadi faktor penting dalam mendukung kecerdasan sosial anak. Strategi seperti penggunaan cerita moral, kegiatan kelompok, dan penguatan hubungan emosional juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan. Kolaborasi yang baik antara orang tua dan guru menciptakan sinergi yang mendukung anak untuk mengembangkan keterampilan sosial seperti empati, kerja sama, dan penyelesaian konflik secara konstruktif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan sosial anak tidak hanya bergantung pada pendidikan formal tetapi juga membutuhkan peran aktif keluarga.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept  of educational entrepreneurship as a transformational approach in designing an education system that is more adaptive to the challenges of the 21st century. This approach was born out of the need to overcome the limitations of the conventional education system which is often bureaucratic, rigid, and less responsive to social, economic, and technological dynamics. Using descriptive qualitative methods based on literature studies and case studies, this study analyzes various models of educational innovation built by education entrepreneurs in Indonesia, such as digital platforms, community-based schools, and nature-based learning. The results of the study show that educational entrepreneurs play an important role as agents of change who are able to create an alternative education ecosystem that is participatory, contextual, and solution-based. The models developed have proven to be effective in improving access, curriculum flexibility, and community participation in the educational process. In addition, they are able to combine social values, technological innovation, and economic sustainability in one integrative framework. In conclusion, educational entrepreneurship is a promising strategy to improve the inequality and stagnation of the formal education system. Therefore, this approach needs to receive structural support through policies, multi-sector partnerships, and strengthening the leadership capacity of entrepreneurship-based education

Abstract

Introduction:In the era of Industry 4.0, digital transformation has become a necessity for organizations to remain competitive. However, the success of digital transformation initiatives is highly dependent on the competence of human resources (HR). This study aims to analyze the level of HR competence and its influence on the effectiveness of digital transformation implementation. Research Methodology:This research employs a quantitative descriptive method using survey data collected from 150 employees across various departments in a mid-sized enterprise undergoing digital transformation. The data were analyzed using statistical tools to measure the correlation between HR competence indicators and digital transformation progress. Result: Findings indicate that 68% of the workforce possesses basic digital skills, while only 24% demonstrate advanced digital and analytical capabilities. Departments with higher digital competence reported smoother transitions and better performance metrics post-transformation. Conclusion: The level of HR competence plays a critical role in the success of digital transformation. Organizations must invest in continuous training and development to bridge the competency gap and support a sustainable digital shift
