Abstract

Department of Local Revenue on Katingan Regency has a local system to handle tax, such asregistration, data entry, and tax calculating. That system can only be accessed by Department ofLocal Revenue on Katingan Regency. On the previous system, all those tasks are done manually.Taxpayers had to come to Department of Local Revenue to get the information needed. On theother side, Department of Local Revenue on Katingan Regency doesn’t have a profile website thatcan be used to accommodate the aspirations of community about tax.The proposed system is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL as DBMS.The system also developed using Waterfall Modelling method, which is consist of 5 steps: analysis,design, coding, testing, and maintenance.The Content Management System (CMS) concept which is applied in the website helps thewebsite administrator manages the website easily. The application of e-government in theproposed website is applied to level 2, namely information level and interaction level.

Abstract

Student in one of the stakeholder in a university. Therefore, student’s perception in the quality of learning facilities and infrastructures become important to ensure the university’s performance. The Faculty of Engineering of University of Palangka Raya has not comprehensively evaluated the students’ satisfactory of the learning’s facilities. In this research, methods from data mining approach was implemented to classify whether the students satisfy or not with the quality of the learning’s facility in Engineering Faculty. This research compared three data mining algorithm, Decision Tree C4.5, Support Vector Machine, and Naïve Bayes to obtain the best algorithm for the prediction system. 948 responses were collected, 61% of the respondent were satisfied with the quality of the learning facilities and infrastructures, while 39% of the respondents were dissatisfied. The Decision Tree c4.5 had the best performance with accuracy of 88% and precision of 98% compared to the Naïve Bayes and support vector machine.

Abstract

The process of employee’s recruitment at PT. Jamkrida still uses the manual methods in terms of registration, selection and announcement the result. These process is tme consuming and could be very expensive. Therefore a new system is needed to manage the recruitment process of new employees at PT. Jamkrida Kalimantan Tengah. Through this system the registration and selection process can be done well, precisely and quickly. Employee Recruitment System of PT. Jamkrida Kalimantan Tengah can be used as a solution in handling the process of hiring new employees in a company. The testing method performed on this website is a blackbox. From the tests conducted it can be concluded that the existence of a new web-based employee recruitment information system or e-recruitment company, is very helpful in the process of recruiting applicants, such as the committee can process applicant data quickly because applicant data will be accommodated in a database so that applicant data does not accumulate in file storage cabinets, as well as to process and search applicants' data can be done easily, with the online test system it can be easily and quickly to make corrections to answers because it is done by the system.

Abstract

Forest fire detection system is one of important tools in preventing and mitigating forest and land fires. In Indonesia, the detection of forest and land fires relies on hotspot information captured from satellites. However, the location obtained by the satellite has a horizontal error of 2 km from the ground check data. Therefore, these information are less relevant to the actual location. In this research, an android app is proposed to extract Exchangeable Image Format (EXIF) photo metadata. The metadata has image information such as latitude and longitude, to obtain the location of forest fires reported by the application user. In addition, this research implemented one of the image processing methods to classify fire and smoke in images of fires. Color filtering method is used based on the color space of Red Green Blue (RGB), Hue Saturation Value (HSV) and YCbCr. This classification process aims to ease the burden on the admin in confirming user reports. The results of the fire and smoke classification process are described using a confusion matrix. This matrix  produces an accuracy rate of 75%, a precision of 80% and a recall of 80% for a fire classification and an accuracy of 70%, a precision of 92% and a recall of 87% for smoke classification. There are 25% and 30% of misclassified data of fire and smoke. This is because the color filtering method classifies each color pixel from the image, therefore many pixels that are not classified as fire or smoke images are classified because there are other objects that have a range of colors to classify fire and smoke

Abstract

In this study, these is a grouping of hotspot data to determine the pattern of areas that are prone and not prone to hotspots in Pulang Pisau Regency in the last 5 years, The dataset starting from 2015-2019. We use the hotspot data for grouping process uses the K-Means clustering algorithmin this computation. After the clustering results are obtained, then the data will be validated using ground check data to determine the accuracy of the clustering results. The validation process is carried out by comparing the coordinates of the clustered data with ground check data at the same location to find out whether the clustering results are really accurate

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when in public places, it is required to apply the 4M health protocol, namely wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, and avoiding crowds. In its implementation, there are officers who always maintain and remind people not to violate health protocols. Like remembering to wear a mask. The mask detection application is made as a computerized surveillance system that can store images of violations of the use of masks and provide warning sounds. Observations, discussions and literature studies are sources of data in this empirical research. Using Python as a programming language assisted with OpenCV for image processing. After passing through the 4 stages of Waterfall, namely Analysis, Design, Manufacturing and Development and Testing, an application is produced where the Raspberry Pi is a processing tool and images are captured from the camera module with a resolution of 1080x1024 px. This application can detect the use of masks with an accuracy of 90.5% using the Machine Learning Haar Cascade Classifier method. Abstract

Digital literacy is defined as the ability to understand and use information in various forms from various sources accessed through computer devices. Digital literacy will create a society with a critical-creative mindset and views. Provocative issues will not easily consume it, become victims of hoax information, or victims of digital-based fraud. Residents of Hurung Village, Banama Tingang District, Pulang Pisau Regency are partners in this community service activity who are active users of digital technology via mobile phones to access the internet and interact with other people. However, in digital technology, partners have not been able to distinguish true or false information and forward information obtained from social media or unclear sources. Likewise, in the search for information, still using sources or references that are not valid. So that the information obtained cannot be justified. In this service activity, the service team created digital media using a village profile website to support digital literacy for Hurung village. The activity was carried out in three stages, namely material presentation, mentoring, and training on the use of village profile websites. With this activity, it is hoped that it can be helpful to add insight, knowledge and build Hurung village to become a pioneer village of digital literacy

Abstract

An expert system is an application program that tries to imitate the reasoning of an expert in solving a problem. Students at the Faculty of Engineering who are taking a thesis must have experienced stress when working on a thesis, this is obtained from internal and external factors, stress is divided into 4, namely normal, mild, moderate, and severe stress. To find out what level of stress they are experiencing while working on the thesis. Therefore, in this thesis research, we will discuss how to design and build an Expert System application for Stress Levels for Website-Based Thesis Students (Case Study: Faculty of Engineering, University of Palangka Raya) aims to create an expert system using the forward chaining method and certainty factor, by making an application. In this way, students can find out the level of stress that is being experienced when working on a thesis and be given solutions according to the level of stress. The result is an expert system application that can replace the presence of experts to diagnose stress levels. Students make independent diagnoses by answering the symptoms they are experiencing. This study uses 10 student data from the Department of Civil Engineering 3, Architecture 2, Informatics Engineering 3, and Mining Engineering 2. The results can be concluded that the dominant students experience severe stress levels when working on theses. There is a recapitulation to see the percentage of students who experience stress levels at stress levels and periods.
