Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is an educational innovation that aims to give schools the freedom to adapt their curriculum to students' needs and preferences. The aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the competency profile of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Palangka Raya in implementing the independent curriculum. This research method is quantitative research with a survey type. With data analysis techniques is percentages. The research sample was 50 Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Palangka Raya. The results of the research show that there are 37 or 74% of BK teachers who have in-depth knowledge of the independent curriculum; 39 BK teachers or 78% have the ability to map student potential; 33 guidance and counseling teachers or 66% have skills in designing individual guidance programs; 42 BK teachers or 84% have effective counseling and communication skills; 46 BK teachers or 92% have collaboration and partnership skills.

Abstract

: Perencanaan karier adalah proses pengambilan keputusan yang dilakukan seseorang untuk menentukan arah dan tujuan kariernya di masa depan. Proses ini dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek penting, seperti kemampuan diri, minat, bakat, serta pemahaman terhadap dunia kerja dan peluang tersedia. Dalam konteks siswa, perencanaan karier bukan hanya berlangsung pada masa sekolah saja, tetapi merupakan proses yang berkelanjutan hingga mereka benar-benar mampu mewujudkan cita-cita atau karier yang diharapkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui media poster menggunakan canva untuk meningkatkan perencanaan karier siswa di kelas XI AKL 4 SMK N 2 Palangka Raya tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Pada penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pre eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest and postest. Sampel di ambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga sesuai dengan kriteria pemilihan sampel, yaitu 6 siswa dari kelas XI AKL 4 SMK N 2 Palangka Raya yang di tetapkan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Alat pengumpulan data utama yang penulis gunakan adalah kuesioner, penulis membagikan kuesioner untuk dapat mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan tentang perencanaan karier siswa. Kemudian, data dianalisis menggunakan statistik parametrik karena data berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan uji-t dengan menggunakan uji paired sampel t test ini sig, ,0000,05 dan nilai thitung dibandingkan dengan nilai ttabel yaitu 8,077 2,776 maka hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternative (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui poster menggunakan canva efektif dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karier 6 siswa kelas XI AKL 4 di SMK N 2 Palangka Raya. Hal ini juga dibuktikan dengan perhitungan R Square untuk mengetahui berapa besar presentase keefektifan penelitian, menggunakan model summary ini sebesar 0,157 atau 15,7%. Oleh karena itu, penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok melalui media poster menggunakan canva berhasil dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karier siswa

Abstract

Regulasi emosi merupakan kemampuan individu dalam mengenali, memahami, dan mengelola emosi agar dapat beradaptasi secara positif terhadap lingkungan. Kemampuan ini sangat penting bagi remaja yang menjadi anak didik di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Khusus Anak (LPKA), karena mereka berada pada kondisi yang penuh teka nan psikologis serta keterbatasan sosial yang berpotensi memengaruhi kestabilan emosionalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi regulasi emosi anak didik di LPKA Kelas II Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui angket berskala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak didik mengalami kesulitan dalam regulasi emosi, dengan dominasi persentase tertinggi pada aspek menerima dan merasakan respon emosional negatif sebesar 70%. Sementara itu, kemampuan regulasi emosi positif masih rendah, meliputi kemampuan mengontrol emosi dan menunjukkan sikap positif (20%), kemampuan berpikir dan melakukan hal-hal positif dalam situasi buruk (13,3%), serta kemampuan merencanakan pengalihan masalah ke aktivitas positif (3,3%). Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya dukungan intervensi yang lebih intensif melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling serta program pembinaan emosional untuk membantu remaja binaan mengembangkan regulasi emosi yang adaptif.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers play a crucial role in helping students navigate various issues, including personal, social, academic, and career-related concerns. However, in practice, they often face significant psychological pressures such as administrative burdens, diverse student problems, and limited support within the work environment. Therefore, practicing self-care is crucial for maintaining mental, physical, and emotional well-being, thereby preventing stress and burnout. Through self-care, BK teachers can become more balanced, resilient, and effective in providing counseling services to students. To strengthen their self-care skills, BK teachers need to be equipped with specific techniques, one of which is the butterfly hug technique. This training applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) model, a research approach that focuses on identifying problems while simultaneously implementing practical solutions based on the findings. The program, attended by 20 BK teachers in Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan, proved effective in enhancing their self-care abilities, both for personal well-being and in application to their students.

Abstract

Student empowerment is a crucial component of personal, social, and academic development. Within the context of guidance and counseling, the Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach offers a practical framework for strengthening students’ capacities to make autonomous decisions, solve problems, and engage in positive self-direction. This article presents a literature-based study employing a narrative review approach to examine the effectiveness of SFBC-based group counseling services in empowering students. Relevant literature published between 2021 and 2024 was retrieved from national and international databases. The findings indicate that SFBC effectively enhances student empowerment through strength-oriented strategies, measurable goal setting, and the construction of positive change narratives. When implemented in a group counseling format, SFBC further amplifies these outcomes through supportive peer interactions and collaborative social dynamics. This article provides recommendations for optimizing the application of SFBC within school counseling services and identifies potential directions for future research.

Abstract

Academic burnout among secondary school students has become an increasing concern, particularly in digital learning environments where systematic assessment and early detection remain limited. This study aimed to develop and validate BURNTES (Burnout Test for Students), an Android-based burnout assessment application designed to support guidance and counseling services in Indonesian secondary schools. Using a research and development approach, the study adopted the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data were collected through needs analysis, expert judgment, small-group trials, and preliminary effectiveness testing. Content validity was evaluated by five experts using Aiken’s V index, yielding a coefficient of 0.67, which indicates high and acceptable validity. Practicality testing involving 20 students and three counseling teachers resulted in a usability score of 88.7%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of BURNTES was examined using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, demonstrating a significant improvement in students’ ability to detect and understand burnout symptoms after application use (p < 0.001), supported by a large effect size (r = 0.873). These findings indicate that BURNTES is a valid, practical, and effective digital assessment tool that enhances the accuracy and efficiency of academic burnout detection and supports data-driven early intervention in school counseling contexts.
