Abstract

Media kartu kosa kata dan Pembelajaran bahasa. Media pembelajaran memegang peranan penting dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Proses pembelajaran itu tidak lepas dari penggunaan media digunakan oleh guru secara kontiunitas dan komprehensif tentunya akan menunjang profesionalisme guru, terkhusus guru bahasa. Dibutuhkan keterampilan seorang guru bahasa dalam menggunakan media kartu kosa kata agar pembelajaran yang menarik, inovatif dan menyenangkan. Dibutuhkan kesadaran guru senantiasa dan akrab dengan media pembelajaran. Dengan terampil menggunakan media pembelajaran kartu kosa kata dalam proses belajar mengajar merupakan salah satu menunjang profesionalisme guru bahasa terkhusus di tingkat usia dini dan sekolah dasar. Jika dipahami dengan baik, sesungguhnya media kartu kosa kata menjadi jawaban bagi guru bahasa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak, baik membaca, menulis, mendengarkan dan berbicara, selain keterbacaan ukurannya yang besar membuat media ini akan sangat membantu proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang bermakna dan menyenangkan

Abstract

Literasi Digital dan Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah didukung dengan adanya penguatan literasi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah Dasar merupakan hal yang sangat penting yang harus disadari oleh setiap orang. Penggunaan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar menghasilkan suatu kemampuan berpikiri kritis dari permasalahan yang diberikan oleh guru. Guru dan siswa sekolah dasar harus senantiasa dan akrab dengan literasi digital. Dengan cakap dan terampil menggunakan literasi digital dalam pembelajaran akan membuat materi yangs sulit dapat dipelajari dengan lebih mudah. Penguatan literasi digital bagi setiap orang untuk menyadarkan kolektif bermedia sosial bagi siswa di sekolah dasar perlu adanya edukasi dengan penggunaan yang diperlukan dan terhindar dari perundungan, permainan (game) yang menjadi candu, korban media sosial, bahkan korban dari kelalaian dalam pengelolaan waktu.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this data was to determine the effect of the quantum teaching learning model on the ability to write narrative essays in class V of Bahbiak Siantar Adventist Private Elementary School. This research was carried out in the 2022/2023 school year. This research method is an experiment with a pre-experimental research design with a One-Group Pretest Post-test Design research design. The sample of this research is 33 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and tests. Data is processed using statistical analysis techniques with the N-gain test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it was found that the ability to write narrative essays for fifth grade students had a normal with a final N-gain score of 0.52 in the moderate category. The pretest average score is 64.4 while the post-test average score is 83.5. The results of conceptual tests and problem solving strongly suggest that the use of the quantum teaching method in grade V can improve the effectiveness of students' narrative essay writing abilities in elementary schools.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of using Indonesian-language instructional videos on the listening skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 030279 Sidikalang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of one class comprising 22 students. Data were collected using 10 multiple-choice questions, 5 short-answer questions, and observations. The results of data analysis showed a significant improvement in listening skills after using the Indonesian-language instructional videos, with the average pretest score of 33.40 increasing to a posttest score of 77.95. Statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test revealed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value (p-value) of 0.000 < 0.05. The calculated t-value was 7.240, which was greater than the t-table value of 2.012. Thus, the hypothesis testing results indicated that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H) was rejected. These findings indicate that the use of Indonesian-language instructional videos has a positive effect on improving the listening skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 030279 Sidikalang.

Abstract

Storytelling skills are the ability to retell an action or an event orally with the aim of sharing experiences or knowledge with others. Storytelling itself is one of the speaking skills. Storytelling activities form a person can convey various stories and express feelings experienced. Students can express what they want to tell and their attention in storytelling activities. In its implementation, storytelling activities require story material or ideas, mastery of the story, calmness and courage. Storytelling is one of the habits of society from ancient times until now. Almost every student who has enjoyed a story will always be ready to retell it, especially if the story is impressive to the student. One speaking skill that aims to provide information to others. It is said so because storytelling is included in informative situations that want to make understandings or meanings clear. By telling stories, a person can convey various kinds of stories, expressions of various feelings according to what is experienced, felt, seen, read and expressions of willingness and desire to share the experiences they have gained. Stories can be used by parents and teachers as a means of educating and shaping children's personalities through a cultural transmission approach and an effort to instill ethical values or character values.
