Abstract

Over time, rapid digitalization, financial understanding and financial behavior have become crucial aspects in financial management for the community, especially students. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of financial literacy skills and the use of financial digitalization on the financial behavior of students in the management study program at Buana Perjuang University, Karawang 2021. This study uses a quantitative method with a verification approach. The analytical technique used is path analysis, with a sample size of 203 students, which examines how the influence of financial literacy and the use of financial digitalization affects students' financial behavior. The results of this study indicate that there is a low relationship between the financial literacy variable and the use of financial digitalization. There is a positive and significant partial effect of the financial literacy variable on the financial behavior variable, and there is also a positive and significant partial effect of the use of financial digitalization on the financial behavior variable but it is relatively low. There is a positive and significant influence simultaneously on the variables of financial literacy and the use of financial digitalization on the financial behavior of students of the Management Study Program, Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang, Class of 2021. The implications of this study indicate that increasing financial literacy and utilizing financial digitalization can encourage the formation of wiser, more planned, and more responsible financial behavior of students, with an increase in the number of students who pay their UKT on time.

Abstract

The role of the village head is one of the factors influencing the success of village development. Specifically, in the village of Cemarajaya, it is known that the community is still not actively participating in every village development activity. In building the village, the objective of this research is to determine how the village head can encourage community participation in the development of Cemarajaya Village, Cibuaya District, Karawang Regency. This research is qualitative and utilizes data from both primary and secondary sources. Data is collected through techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation, with triangulation as the analytical tool.

Abstract

This research illustrates that recruitment practices that only rely on internal relations without opening recruitment to the public are a phenomenon that occurs at Dali Coffee, an MSME in Karawang, West Java. This research aims to understand the recruitment and selection process carried out by Dali Coffee and identify the obstacles that arise in the process. Qualitative methods with a field research approach were used in this research. Observations were carried out to understand directly the recruitment and selection process in the field, while interviews with employees, especially store managers, provided direct insight into these practices. Apart from that, data was also obtained from internal company documents. The research results show that although Dali Coffee prioritizes internal relations in recruitment, the selection process remains strict to ensure compliance with company standards. The obstacles that arise include the risk of high tolerance for employee errors as well as challenges in maintaining the privacy and security of company information. The implications of this research provide insight into Dali Coffee's unique strategy in human resource management and offer recommendations for improving the effectiveness of employee recruitment and selection for similar companies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and the use of e-money on the financial behavior of Generation Z in a cashless society and pay later or periodic online loans which make it easier for users to carry out transactions when the user needs but does not have enough money when needed. Especially for UBP Karawang Management students. This research stage involves testing validity and reliability using quantitative descriptive verification methods. to analyze financial literacy, e-money and financial behavior variables. The results show that the questions in the questionnaire are proven to be valid and reliable. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that financial literacy and e-money together significantly influence the financial behavior of Generation Z. The partial test shows that financial literacy and labor have a significant influence on financial behavior, while financial behavior influences e-money. The implications of this research include the importance of increasing financial literacy, e-money development, and the role of financial behavior in supporting students. The conclusion highlights that these three variables together have a significant influence on Generation Z's financial behavior, with financial literacy contributing 19.3%, while the rest is explained by other factors. This research offers an in-depth view of the complexity of the relationship between financial literacy, e-money, and Generation Z's financial behavior in the cashless era.

Abstract

In Karawang Regency, the high open unemployment rate in 2020 reached 11.52%, becoming a serious challenge that has the potential to cause negative impacts such as poverty, increased crime, school dropouts, and an increase in the number of beggars on the streets. This research aims to find effective strategies in reducing the unemployment rate in Karawang Regency through recruitment and training policies. This research uses qualitative research methods, located at the Karawang Regency Manpower and Transmigration Service. In this research, the data analysis technique used is a qualitative technique. Data source testing is carried out through the triangulation method, which aims to ensure that information from different sources is re-evaluated. Apart from that, expansion can be done by combining the results of the interviews. Strategies for reducing the unemployment rate in Karawang Regency include recruitment through the infoloker website which focuses on local placements and competency-based training to improve job seeker skills. As a result, the Karawang Manpower Office has succeeded in implementing an effective strategy in reducing unemployment in Karawang Regency. This strategy includes competency-based training and recruitment via the infoloker website. Competency-based training ensures trainees develop skills and knowledge that are relevant and applicable in their work context. Meanwhile, the infoloker website facilitates the job search process, making it more effective and efficient for labor users and job seekers. These strategies have shown a positive impact in reducing unemployment and improving the quality of the workforce in Karawang Regency.

Abstract

Human resources play an important role in the complex scope of employment, the principles of welfare and justice and effectiveness in carrying out work are priorities in carrying out company operations. Compensation provided by the company is often a factor in whether employee performance is good or bad, as well as work discipline which is the basis for carrying out work according to standard operating procedures. The study carried out has the aim of being able to find out, analyze and explain the influence of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive (study of employees at the PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive plant body). The method in this study uses a quantitative model with a descriptive verification approach technique. For this study, the population recorded included all Plant Body employees of PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive. The sample used in this study was 130 respondents with the sampling technique used, including non-probability sampling using a sampling technique, namely saturated sampling (census). Data analysis in this study used path analysis assisted by the IBM SPSS V 29.0 analysis tool. The research results show that the work discipline variable has a significant partial influence on employee performance variables. The compensation variable has a significant partial influence on the employee performance variable. And there is a significant simultaneous influence between compensation variables and work discipline on employee performance at PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive .
