Abstract

This research aims to examine teenagers' low awareness of the nature of parasocial interactions and time management skills in consuming K-Pop content and social media, and how this can disrupt the balance of teenagers' daily lives. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method, which is known as a traditional method because it has been used for a long time and is common in research. The population of this research is teenage K-Pop fans who actively use social media, using non-probability sampling techniques. The characteristics of the research subjects are teenagers aged between 12 and 22 years who are K-Pop fans and social media users. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure parasocial interactions and social media consumption patterns. The results showed that subjects with high social media use had a high level of parasocial interaction. Activities such as scrolling timelines and feeds, enjoying content for fun, and learning Korean from idol posts have a medium level of parasocial interaction. In contrast, activities such as searching for information about idols, watching music videos, voting for idols, and watching concerts and idol content show high to very high levels of parasocial interaction. This research reveals that excessive social media consumption in the K-Pop context can lead to intense parasocial interactions, which have the potential to disrupt the balance of teenagers' daily lives. It is hoped that these findings can become the basis for efforts to increase adolescent awareness regarding time management and healthy social media consumption.

Abstract

Problems: this research examines the psychological aspects of developing early childhood football players (grassroots football). support from coaches and parents and a holistic training program were critical factors in optimizing a player's potential. Purpose: the research aims to understand how psychological factors influence grassroots football players. this research will likely provide an evaluation of the critical role of sports psychology in developing grassroots football achievements. Methods: this research uses qualitative methods with a grounded theory approach. a total of 10 licensed coaches with a minimum of 5 years-experience in football coaching. this research uses data triangulation, namely open semi-structured interviews, observation, and document analysis, as data collection procedures. the information collected is then analyzed using predetermined themes. Results: the research using the interview method shows that effective motivation methods include positive feedback, setting realistic goals, and creating a competitive but supportive environment. coaches provide praise, set small goals, and create a positive training environment to increase players' self-confidence. in managing player stress, coaches use personal approaches, open communication, and mental training to help athletes overcome pressure. improving social skills in grassroots players is carried out through group exercises that encourage cooperation and participation in community football events. Conclusion: the research results and discussion can be analyzed to show that collaboration between coaches and parents is essential in supporting children's potential, with coaches focusing on developing techniques and understanding of the game and parents providing moral support without excessive pressure. this research confirms the importance of a comprehensive psychological approach to optimally developing early childhood football players.

Abstract

Problems: The problem of this research was identified because students often lose the ball when passing opponents, less than optimal dribbling speed so that it is easy to be chased by opponents, and low agility which causes movements to be easy to read. Purpose: This study aims to test the contribution of speed and agility to the ability of soccer dribbling in students. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach through a correlational method, this study seeks to provide a scientific understanding of the relationship between physical variables (speed and agility) with technical abilities (dribbling). This study involved 26 students as research samples through a total sampling technique. The instruments used include a 30-meter running test for speed, a dogging run test for agility, and a dribbling test with 7 obstacles. Data analysis was carried out using correlation techniques with SPSS software version 24. Results: The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average speed time was 5.68 seconds, agility 6.49 seconds, and dribbling 24.58 seconds. Students with the best speed and agility also recorded the fastest dribbling results, which indicates a positive relationship between basic physical abilities and dribbling skills. Conclusion: This study concluded that increasing speed and agility can significantly contribute to dribbling effectiveness. This finding is important as a basis for designing more targeted and evidence-based soccer training programs

Abstract

This research is a literature study that aims to explore the relationship between carbohydrate consumption and athlete performance and health, especially female athletes who run long distances. This study uses the method of literature study or literature review using secondary data from scientific journal articles. Article searches are conducted through various platforms such as Google Scholar, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, and Proquest using keywords related to carbohydrate consumption in female long-distance runners. The inclusion criterion for articles is that they must be scientific journal research articles conducted in the UK with the main subject female athletes long-distance runners and the topic relates to carbohydrates. Articles that meet these criteria are then further analyzed Through an analysis of 8 scientific journal articles, it was concluded that carbohydrate intake has a crucial role in improving athletes' performance and endurance, as well as preventing the risk of low energy availability that can have a negative impact on health. In addition, research also highlights the need for adjustments in carbohydrate intake based on environment and stress to maximize athletes' training and recovery abilities. These findings affirm the importance of designing a balanced diet of carbohydrates and protein to achieve the desired results in improving athlete performance and supporting healthy weight loss. This study provides a deep understanding of the importance of carbohydrate intake in supporting the performance and health of female long-distance runners, and emphasizes the need for more inclusive research to develop better nutritional interventions.

Abstract

This comprehensive literature review delves into the prevalence, risk factors, management strategies, and outcomes related to meniscal injuries, particularly focusing on young football athletes. Drawing from eight scholarly articles, it covers various aspects of meniscal injuries, including incidence rates, treatment options, rehabilitation techniques, and long-term implications. Meniscal injuries are highlighted as significant in sports, notably in high-mobility activities like football, where sudden movements and twisting motions increase the likelihood of such injuries. The review explores common treatment methods such as meniscal repair, transplantation, and partial meniscectomy, along with tailored rehabilitation approaches aimed at facilitating athletes' return to play. Research indicates that while meniscal injuries are common among athletes, particularly in contact sports like football, early detection and proper treatment are crucial to mitigate lasting effects. Understanding knee joint anatomy and biomechanics is emphasized, along with the implementation of effective rehabilitation protocols to enhance joint stability and prevent re-injury. In summary, this literature review offers valuable insights into the multifaceted nature of meniscal injuries among young football athletes. By synthesizing evidence from diverse sources, it contributes to a deeper understanding of the epidemiology, management, and rehabilitation of meniscal injuries, informing clinical practices and guiding future research in sports medicine

Abstract

This study evaluates the application of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) in sports physiotherapy, focusing on pain management, muscle recovery, and injury rehabilitation. Utilizing qualitative descriptive research based on a literature review, data were sourced from reputable scientific databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis revealed that TENS effectively manages pain by altering pain signals before they reach the brain, enhances muscle recovery by improving blood circulation, reducing inflammation, and accelerating healing. Additionally, TENS supports injury rehabilitation by preserving strength and muscle mass during immobilization and contributes positively to athletes' mental well-being by maintaining motivation. While TENS demonstrates various benefits, its effectiveness can vary among individuals, indicating a need for further research to optimize usage protocols and assess its impact on specific conditions in sports. In conclusion, TENS is a valuable tool in sports physiotherapy, offering significant advantages in pain relief, muscle recovery, and rehabilitation
