Abstract

Decision-making in the organization always relates to the description of the results of the decisions taken. Therefore, every organization needs a management information system to assist in making various kinds of decisions needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence and effectiveness of management information systems on decision-making in the field of archives. The method used in this study is the explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and product correlation moments. Data analysis was performed using simple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The subjects of this study were 120 administrative employees in the city of Bandung. To support the analysis, this study also carried out a bibliometric analysis to determine trends in research development from information management systems to decision-making. Based on the findings, the quality of the management information system used is in the high category, as well as the effectiveness of decision-making is in the high category. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and significance, it can be interpreted that the management information system has a positive and significant effect on decision-making in the field of administration.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of quality leadership effectiveness of the principal, the level of the teacher work commitment, and to find out whether there is an effect of the principal's quality leadership on teacher work commitment. The research method uses explanatory surveys. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire. The respondents were 105 teachers. The data analysis technique uses simple regression. The results showed that the principal's quality leadership had a significant and significant influence on the teacher's work commitment. Thus, the teacher's work commitment can be increased through Increasing Principal Leadership.

Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai belum optimalnya kompetensi lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan kota Bandung. Masalah keterserapan lulusan yang masih rendah yang berdampak pada pengangguran di Indonesia merupakan fenomena dari mutu kompetensi lulusan yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan konsep pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Bandung dalam meningkatkan mutu kompetensi lulusan sehingga dapat menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang terampil dari lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang berkualitas dan selaras dengan kebutuhan lapangan kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Explanatory Survey Method. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala ordinal. Jumlah responden sebanyak 216 orang pendidik, yang diambil secara random dari 33 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Program Keahlian Bisnis dan Manajemen di Kota Bandung.  Teknik pengolahan  data menggunakan Path Analysis Models. Secara rinci hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh kuat, positif, dan signifikan terhadap kinerja mengajar guru dan pengelolaan fasilitas pembelajaran; (2)  Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja mengajar guru dan pengelolaan fasilitas pembelajaran, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap proses pembelajaran; (3) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja mengajar guru dan pengelolaan fasilitas pembelajaran, serta proses pembelajaran, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu kompetensi lulusan.The problem studied in this research is the competence of graduates not optimal Vocational High School of Bandung. Problems still low absorption graduates who have an impact on unemployment in Indonesia is a phenomenon of the quality of graduates' competence is not optimal. This study aimed to get the concept of education Vocational High School in Bandung in improving the quality of graduates' competence so as to produce a skilled workforce from Vocational High School graduate qualified and in tune with the needs of employment. The method used in this research is Explanatory Survey Method. Data collection techniques using ordinal scale questionnaire. Total respondents 216 educators, taken at random from the 33 Vocational High School Program of Business and Management in Bandung. Data processing techniques using Path Analysis Models. In detail, the results of this study indicate that: (1) leadership principals strong influence, positive and significant impact on the performance of teachers teaching and learning facilities management; (2) Leadership principals, teachers' teaching performance management and learning facilities, and significant positive effect on the learning process; (3) Leadership principals, teachers 'teaching performance management and learning facilities, as well as the learning process, positive and significant impact on the quality of graduates' competence.

Abstract

Pengelolaan arsip bertujuan untuk menjaga dan memelihara arsip pribadi maupun organisasi agar dapat dipergunakan kembali apabila diperlukan. Saat ini masih banyak organisasi maupun instansi yang belum menyadari pentingnya pengelolaan arsip. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan gambaran tentang pentingnya pengelolaan arsip yang dapat dikembangkan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi kearsipan. Lokasi penelitian di Sekolah Tinggi Desain Indonesia (STDI) Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi kearsipan berperan dalam membuka wawasan dan memberi pemahaman kepada para pemangku kepentingan untuk mulai memperhatikan pengelolaan arsip lembaga. The Effectiveness of Archive Socialization to Improve the Quality of Archive Management at the Indonesian College of Design. Records management aims to maintain and maintain personal and organizational records so they can be reused if needed. Currently, there are still many organizations and agencies that do not realize the importance of records management. The study aims to provide an overview of the importance of archive management that can be developed through archival socialization activities. The research location is at the Indonesian College of Design (STDI) Bandung. The method used in this study is observation with a qualitative approach. The results showed that archival socialization activities play a role in opening insights and providing understanding to stakeholders to start paying attention to institutional archive management.

Abstract

Karyawan merupakan asset terpenting bagi perusahaan kinerja karyawan menjadi permasalahan yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan. Salah satu perusahaan yang mengalami masalah kinerja karyawan adalah PT.X. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pengaruh work life balance terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Pengaruh burnout terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan Pengaruh work life balance dan burnout terhadap kinerja karyawana. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan oleh PT. X Bandung adalah dengan memperhatikam work life balance dan menurunkan burnout. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. X Bandung. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif menggunakan Teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dengan jumlah sampel 215 responden. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa work life balance dalam kategori sedang dengan pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 1.030. Pengaruh burnout kinerja karyawan sebesar – 0,364 untuk pengaruh Bersama antara work life balance dan burnout adalah sebesar 50,6 % yang berarti pengaruhnya cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan lebih memperhatikan kondisi karyawannya baik secara fisik ataupun psikologis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kinerja karyawan yang memiliki kinerja tinggi di PT KMK Plastics Indonesia dari tahun 2020 hingga 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana Work Life Balance (X1), Beban Kerja (X2) dan Organization Commitment (M) merupakan solusi dari permasalahan Kinerja Karyawan (Y). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei eksplanasi dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan perusahaan XYZ, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 135 responden karyawan yang diperoleh dari pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS dibantu oleh program SMART PLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Work Life Balance berpengaruh langsung dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Beban kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen Organisasi berpengaruh langsung dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen Organisasi memediasi pengaruh Work Life Balance terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen Organisasi tidak memediasi pengaruh Beban Kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan

Abstract

The rapid transformation of education requires performance and innovation. This study aimed to examine the interconnectedness between organizational commitment (OC), job satisfaction (JS), and employee performance (EP) in higher education in Indonesia. EP is measured by how well you handle critical emergencies, how well you solve creative problems, how well you manage work stress, how well you handle uncertain and unpredictable work situations, and how well you adapt to other people. OC is measured by the strong desire to be an employee, the desire to work hard, acceptance of organizational values, acceptance of organizational goals, and work loyalty. JS is measured by the work itself, wages, promotion opportunities, supervision, and colleagues. The population in this study were all 150 employees of the Archive Bureau in Educational Colleges in Indonesia. In this study, researchers used the saturated sampling method as the basis for sampling, where all 150 members of the population were used as samples. A deeper comprehension of the connections between the variables was achieved by quantitatively applying structural equation modeling based on AMOS 21. The findings indicate that organizational commitment and job satisfaction positively influence employee performance in higher education in Indonesia. Indeed, job satisfaction among employees can enhance their performance. This study helps organizations perform better during COVID-19, particularly in higher education. The researcher suggests that additional researchers conduct larger-scale research on improving performance in areas like innovation and productive behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of a study and analysis regarding the influence of strategic leadership on employee performance with job satisfaction as mediation in the General Procurement and Facility Services Division of PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) which is located in the city of Bandung. The population in this study are all employees who are members of the General Procurement and Facility Services Division of PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), totaling 84 employees who have become respondents in this study. This research method uses a quantitative approach method, as well as a method of collecting data through questionnaires which are distributed to all employees using the Google Form media. The hypothesis testing technique in this study uses structural equation modeling / SEM techniques using AMOS software. The results of this study indicate that the first hypothesis of strategic leadership can have a positive effect, but not significantly on employee performance. The second hypothesis shows that strategic leadership can have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The third hypothesis explains that employee job satisfaction has a negative and not significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the last hypothesis reveals that employee job satisfaction cannot mediate the effect of strategic leadership on employee performance. Keywords: Strategic Leadership, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance, PT. Abstract

MSMEs in the bed linen industry often face challenges in increasingly tight market competition and changing consumer dynamics. To remain relevant and competitive in an ever-changing market, MSME leaders need to rethink their leadership strategies. Rethinking in this context includes re-evaluating business models, marketing strategies, production processes, and relationships with customers. MSME leaders need to consider new strategies that enable them to face challenges and exploit opportunities in the bedsheets industry. Based on the results of observations and in-depth interviews with MSME owners who produce bed sheets and bed covers in the Bandung area, it is clear that most of the MSME players who produce bed sheets and bed covers, especially the owners, in this case who are the leaders, have implemented re-thinking strategic leadership, especially those in the bed sheet business who produce on a large scale. . Re-thinking strategic leadership in this case means that MSME bed sheet and bed cover players have re-evaluated business models, marketing strategies, production processes and relationships with customers. MSME owners of bedsheet and bedcover products in Bandung have adopted various strategies to understand and adapt to the rapidly changing business environment. They use e-commerce and social media platforms, prioritize environmentally friendly products, adopt health protocols during the pandemic, and adjust production processes according to environmental regulations. Their strategic leadership drives adaptation through market research, product innovation, sales channel diversification, improved customer service, operational efficiency, collaboration, pricing flexibility, and human resource development. Additionally, they apply long-term thinking through SWOT analysis, market trend monitoring, competitor research, and data analysis. Team collaboration and engagement are also enhanced through cross-functional teams, open communication, shared goals, and collaborative rewards. Technology and innovation are encouraged with training, support systems, feedback loops, and innovation awards. Systemic thinking and leadership development is carried out through outreach, training, open communication, and feedback. These MSMEs also have risk awareness with appropriate risk analysis and risk mitigation as well as regular performance measurements for evaluation and strategy adjustments. MSME leaders are also considering new strategies that will enable them to face challenges and exploit opportunities in the bedsheets industry. MSME leaders in the bed linen industry have implemented strategic leadership to direct their business in a direction that is in line with the company's vision and mission. Strategic leadership involves making smart decisions, identifying market opportunities, managing risks, and developing long-term strategies. Even though the results obtained, not all MSMEs producing bed sheets are as expected.

Abstract

The development of the sharia economy in Indonesia has not been carried out optimally, even though based on The Sate of Global Islamic Report (SGIE) 2023/2024 report, Indonesia is ranked 3rd out of several OIC countries which look at various aspects of the sharia economic and financial market sector as well as the halal value chain.. Therefore, in this research, a study was carried out on strategies for utilizing digital technology in the effectiveness of sharia economic and financial education and literacy in the city of Bandung. The number of respondents from this research was 481 people using the technique of distributing questionnaires and in-depth interviews. This research uses the TOWS approach or analysis. The results of this research show that the use of digital technology to increase understanding of sharia economics and finance can be optimized through a combination of "SO", "WO", "ST" and "WT" strategies. This strategy is obtained by combining internal and external potential or by filling each other's deficiencies with existing potential.
